A cheeky bit of midweek action coming up next week in the Premier League. Here are the odds and ratings for you to look over. There are not any massive top-of-the-table clashes but the Everton versus West Ham game stands out as the most interesting game. The rivalry between Brighton and Crystal Palace will also ensure that's an exciting one.

What tips are you guys picking out for these games?

brighton vs crystal palace is too dodgy to call

leicester can definitely score against tottenham with the likes of pacy vardy and mahrez. tottenham are too reliant on kane

watford will bring it to man utd but i just don't like that mourinho has talent in the squad but is afraid of open football. meh they barely beat brighton at old trafford.

newcastle are absolutely rubbish and players just don't care about club. they are not playing for the shirt and it seems only interested in paycheck.

chelsea will absolutely trash swansea. swansea has got nothing going for them literally. they are just waiting in line for another bruising

bournemouth vs burnley is another tough call

stoke can definitely win and i can see liverpool having problems from free kicks, corners etc

Brighton & Hove Albion V Crystal Palace

A somewhat fortunate victory for Palace at the weekend but Roy Hodgson's side have been playing well recently and now they're getting results. Palace's away form makes for ridiculous reading thus far: P6 W0 D0 L6 F0 A13 :eek Those away games include Liverpool, Tottenham and both Manchester clubs while defeats at Burnley and Newcastle were completely undeserved. I expect Palace to pickup their first positive away result of the season here at deadly rivals Brighton but 1X2 and AH markets offer little in the way of value. Palace +0.50 line is 1.53 at time of writing this and it's not juicy enough to get involved with (although I may bung it in an accumulator later).

Brighton have done great so far this campaign. I don't see that changing anytime soon so long as the Duffy - Dunk centre-back partnership is not compromised. Both teams will be fired up for this one and Wilfried Zaha in particular loves playing at the Amex. I think we will see a lot of the attacking play come down the flanks rather than through the middle in this game and so full-backs in particular will have a rough time of it. Initially I was looking at cards for individual players such as Bruno, Bong, Ward and Schlupp but really you have to wait for the lineups for such a play.

Both teams have quick and tricky wingers who will be fired up in a high octane fixture so there are two bets I like here:

Total cards: Home team over 2.5 @ 2.12 Unibet

Penalty in match: Yes @ 4.5 Betfair

Oh and @Tiffy............ I do hope the Brighton fans get out their clackers again:

B@@@@@@d!

i have to agree with your pre match write up. Form is out of the window on this one, and yes, Palace are playing well now. I can see both teams going for it, and Your mob always do well here, (apart from the St Patrick's day massacre)

i'd agree with your shout on cards, and perhaps BTTS YES wouldn't be a bad shout either. Brighton are unbeaten at home this season and Palace need the points. So it should make for an entertaining game, with the added spice that it is the first meeting in the Prem.

I can also see late goals, something that happens when you play here, and also has happened this season.

As for those bloody clackers, I don't think they would dare! I can't stand the things. The trouble with the club, is that they turn a match into an occasion. Often it gets to the players, so hopefully this won't be turned into anything other that something that it should. Just another Derby match.

I'll take a look at prices and update if I get 5 mins.

BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE IN 2nd HALF 4.0

BTTS YES 2.0

GOAL AFTER 69m 1.83

Another quick edit!

Brighton never have a lot of corners, they lost the count 5-0 on Saturday. Palace need the win more than Brighton & I'd be surprised if they didn't keep coming forward all game. I'd fancy them to get at least 6 corners in the game. They are 1.44 to get the most corners.

PALACE OVER 5.5 CORNERS 1.9

I tend to bet quite rarely, but quite a few I like here.

Watford +1 AH vs Man United @ 1.89 with Black Type

Watford very impressive so far under Silva. United looking really poor at the moment. If United do win, I would be very surprised if by more than one goal.

Chelsea -2 AH vs Swansea @ 2.10 with Paddy Power

Hazard to score any time @ 2.04 with 888

Swansea are there for the taking and Chelsea are finally clicking into gear. Really like the Hazard bet. On penalties and virtually playing alongside Morata who is priced 1.5-1.6 to score any time.

Man City -2 AH vs Southampton @ 1.94 with Bet Victor

Southampton to Score - No @ 2.04 with Marathon

Very unimpressed with Southampton this season. To be 10th with the fixture run they've had is embarrassing. City very solid at the back and Southampton unable to score with a less well organised defence relative to last season.

Put these together off the back of the stats within the iOS app Matchday XP (https://matchdayxp.app.link/rQcUPifzrI)

**Tuesday games:**

Leicester City v Spurs (19:45)  : BTTS

  •  5 of their last 6 meetings have ended with BTTS
  • Leicester have only failed to score against Man City at home this season

WBA v Newcastle (20:00)  : Under 2.5 goals

  • Last 4 meetings between the two have ended under 2.5 goals
  • Newcastle have only scored 4 in their last 6 away games
  • WBA have only scored 6 in their last 6 home games

Even with the 'new manager bounce' at WBA I expect Megson will try and keep it tight.

**Wednesday games:**

Man City v Southampton (20:00)  : Man City and over 2.5 goals

  • City have won their last 11 league games in a row, 9 of those finished over 2.5 goals
  • 5 of the last 7 meetings between them have finished over 2.5 goals
  • City have scored 13 in their last 3 league games at home

Stoke v Liverpool (20:00)  : Over 2.5 goals

  • Stoke’s last 5 games at home have ended over 2.5 goals
  • All of Liverpools last 4 away games have ended over 4.5 goals
  • The last 3 meetings between the two teams have ended over 2.5 goals

Depending on where you go it looks around 6/1

Happy hunting guys,

Cheers!

Loving the verbal jousting between @Mindfulness and @Tiffy ahead of this big one. Games between rivals (can't really call it a derby can we?) are always hard to predict. I think a draw is where the sensible money might be but it only takes a second of inspiration to change everything in a heated game like this. If I was pushed I'd say a score draw. 1-1 maybe?

Read other free previews on: https://footalyct.com/tuesday-28th-november/

Watford v Manchester United; 21:00

Watford has defender Britos doubtful, while all other injured players are long term injuries (Chalobah, Success, Kaboul, Hoban, Catchart).

Manchester United is still without midfielder Carrick and defender Jones, while Eric Bailly has some injury concerns and remains doubtful for tonight.

Short preview: we can expect very interesting match on Vicarage Road stadium tonight as Watford found their form – beating West Ham with 2-0 and Newcastle with 0-3. This time opponent will be much tougher but MUFC have already shown that they aren’t unbeatable, especially on the road and especially against teams like Watford. They lost 3 of last 5 away matches, won only 4 of last 9 and I wouldn’t let Watford totally without chances here. Asian handicap +1 on Watford with odds around 1,70. Asian handicap means that pick will be voided in case of exactly 1 goal win of Man United.

Lol yep a bit of rivalry always adds some spice doesn't it? I remember this one time in Cardiff, we were all tooled up and I saw a Cardiff fan get his throat slit from ear to ear. then his mates grabbed the Swansea boy and stuck him in the back of a van and that was the last we ever saw of him.

Good times, and a lot of fun was had by all :)

In all seriousness, the dogs this week represent good value don't they? Who will take advantage of fatigue? You might think Arsenal will pay for their fixture congestion as they played last Thursday, but I reckon it is more likely Chelsea and Man U - who both lacked finesse in the final third the weekend, no doubt due to fatigue.

I just don't fancy Man U so much against a strong Watford team.

ALSO - Swansea are due a shock win, and I fancy we might do Chelsea tomorrow.

Low amount of draws I think.

I’m on the X in Leicester and Watford, as well as Blackpool in League One. The toughest button to push was against Spurs, so it’s probably likeliest to come in. EPL odds 3.92 and 3.91; Blackpool at 3.43 but talk about two evenly matched sides, home and away.

Adding: o3.5, o4.5 in Spurs match, o1 in Brighton.

Hey fellas,

I have been MIA as I cashed out last season's profits into cryptocurrencies and it's sucked me in big-time.

Nonetheless I am back for a cheeky mid-week punt.

Stoke - Liverpool

I am concerned Salah might be rested for this game based off research but honestly, Liverpool should turn up.

Stoke have conceded something like 26 goals at home this season?

Anyways, I like Liverpool win & O2.5 @ 2.05

For those playing correct score predictors: 1-3 for me.

Chelsea - Swansea

Another rumour is that Hazard will be rested. Doesn't matter to me, Chelsea have a lot of quality and Swansea have been toothless up front. Moreso with Abraham out (ineligible and injured I think).

Clement has organized a really tight ship and their only downfall is their lack of threat up front.

If Swansea lose by a large margin, I fear he might lose his job.

Nevertheless, I am here to make some money and will go for Chelsea win & O2.5 @ 1.7 as they are firing on full cylinders and need to keep up with the pack at the top after dropping points at Anfield.

3-0 to Chelsea I reckon.

Man City - Southampton

Southampton are capable of parking the bus (Pellegrino has it in him) but City are on another level this season. Soton have lost their defensive tightness that they had in previous seasons and it's a bit worrying for them.

Austin made a super comeback this past weekend and even if he doesn't score a goal, you know City will manage at least 3.

I consider City win & O2.5 @ 1.65 as free money.

4-0 to City seems likely to me.

A treble of the above comes in @ 5.75 - I am backing this with a small stake.

Bournemouth - Burnley doesn't appeal to me however if forced, I would go for a U2.5 @ 1.667

Everton - West Ham looks a bit tricky but there seems to be value on the O2.5 @ 2.05

For those feeling a bit risky. a 4-fold of the above (without Bournemouth) is 11.79

Bet responsibly and have fun.

I think there's value

No value in the Arsenal - Huddersfield game, probably a 2-0

Chelsea - Swansea

Chelsea to win and under 2.5 goals @ 3.40 bet365

I think Chelsea might be happy with 2-0 here. I don't think they will push for more goals if they go 2 goals up. Swansea is not so bad defensively so I suggest that Chelsea won't hammer Swansea.

Everton - West Ham

Everton to win @ 2.35 bet365

Everton really has a good history facing West Ham and it's a bit of a relegation battle and in a such situation I sure think Everton is the strongest team. By the looks of things in the table West Ham will not be happy with a draw so if they feel they can win they will open up spaces for Everton to strike at. I also suggest a home win because I think Everton is overall the better team. If they are better tonight remains to be seen but I'll take my chances with a home win.

POST MATCH

I find most Palace fans to be decent people, but the ones that turn up to the Amex are idiots. There was trouble all over the place and the Palace Ultras sprayed over the BRUNO painting in the city centre, which set the tone for the night. The away end was unusually quiet last night too, probably the least vocal I have ever seen them. There were fireworks, flares and firecrackers going off throughout the game too, I've never seen as much at a football match before. But the atmosphere in the first half was generally cracking tho. And I am pleased to say that there was no trouble inside the ground.

Yes @StevieDay1983, you can't call it a Derby, it is more of a rivalry tat started in the 70's. Up to this point Brighton's nickname was the Dolphins, but the fans started chanting "Seagulls" in response to Palace fans chanting "Eagles"!

@Mindfulness You were right to call it "El Crapico", neither team showed any class last night. Both teams good defensively, but awful in the final 3rd.  A great double save early on to deny Beneke & Zaha was probably Palaces best chance. But overall both teams were evenly matched, with perhaps Brighton shading it in the 2nd HALF, (hence the corner count). Given the amount of money Palace have spent, and the quality of players on display, I wouldn't say they were any better than Brighton overall, which was pleasing.

The corner count finished 10-5. I am amazed Brighton had 10 corners, I don't think I have ever seen it before, but they were the more dominant in attack in the 2nd half. Palace let me down by 1 corner, typical really, I don't think they have ever won a bet for me!

Both teams could have scored, perhaps should have scored, and Brighton had the best chances in the second half.

There was more chance of a late goal than an early one too. I was convinced hat either team would nick it with a scrappy late winner.

A draw was a fair result, and I am pleased that it is over now. I always look forward to this fixture, and relieved when it has passed.

i had 3 bets last night

Palace over 5.5 corners - (Lost, 10-5)

Watord +2 AH  corners@ 2.0 (Won 5-5)

LEIC V TOT Each team over 1 corner@ 1 2 (Won 4-9)

It brings the question up,  should their be midweek football in the prem? Both teams put a shift in on Saturday, and I think it showed last night. I think I would rather watch weekend football only, if it was better quality than this.
