Step-by-step Guide on How to Download PL Forum App

The Punters Lounge forum offers our members the ability to receive push notifications on their mobile and stay connected to the PL community. This will give you the opportunity to get notifications on your mobile, even when your web browser isn’t open, to alert you to updates or new content posted on the forum.

Here is our easy-to-follow guide on how to set up the push notifications on your iOS or Android device…

iOS Devices

On iOS mobile devices, when visiting the Punters Lounge forum, you can click on the “Share” icon at the foot of the page to add this option to your home screen.

You will then be able to see “Add to Home Screen” as an option at the end of the list.

It will then give you the chance to edit the name of the icon that you choose to add to the home screen before adding it to the home screen in the form of a native application.

You can then choose to move the icon to anywhere on your home screen for your own convenience.

Android Devices

For Android mobile devices, when landing on the Punters Lounge forum page, you will be shown a message at the bottom of the screen that allows you to add the forum application to your home screen.

If this message does not appear then you can go to the web browser and click to access the app via the desktop site where it will then be added to your home screen.

You will then be able to edit the name of the icon and position it anywhere on your home screen for your own convenience.

Enabling Notifications

OK, so the app is installed and you’re ready to go. How do you enable push notifications? Well, it’s simple.

Click on the app icon on your home screen. You will then need to navigate towards the following location…

Menu -> Bell Icon -> Notification Settings

Once in Notification Settings, you will need to scroll to the bottom of the page. Here, you will find the “Push” option where you can click to enable notifications in the current browser.

You will then be able to keep up-to-date with all the latest and best content that is posted on the Punters Lounge forum via notifications direct to your mobile.

Включение уведомлений

Итак, приложение установлено и можно приступать к работе. Как включить push-уведомления? Ну, это просто.

Нажмите на значок приложения на главном экране. Затем вам нужно будет перейти к следующему месту…

Меню -> Значок колокольчика -> Настройки уведомлений.

В настройках уведомлений вам нужно будет прокрутить страницу вниз. Здесь вы найдете опцию «Push», нажав которую вы можете включить уведомления в текущем браузере.
