StevieDay1983
Chelsea vs MOL Vidi European football doesn't offer many sure things these days as the reputedly less competitive teams up their game. However, this week I think there's as close to a sure thing that we'll see this season with Premier League title contenders Chelsea hosting Hungarian side MOL Vidi in this 8pm game at Stamford Bridge tomorrow night. Chelsea look a menacing side under Maurizio Sarri. 5 consecutive wins to start the league season has been halted by two draws in the league. In the Europa League, Sarri's side battled out a dogged 1-0 win away to Greek club PAOK. It was far from convincing but it got the job done. MOL Vidi have surprised many by reaching this stage of the competition. They narrowly missed out on a place in the Champions League group stages after navigating their way past Dudelange and Ludogorets before coming unstuck against AEK Athens. A 2-0 defeat at home in the opening Europa League group game against Azeri side BATE Borisov suggests that they might struggle to get anything in this group. It goes without saying that the Blues are huge favourites coming into this and I can see Sarri's side strolling through this game. MOL Vidi can defend and stay as tight as they like all game long but with Eden Hazard in the form he's in and other players in full confidence it'll be a long evening. Even if Hazard doesn't play, there's enough quality in this Chelsea side to breeze past this game. betcatalog
A very important match for the two teams for the continuation of the group, the level of the tie is important, I expect the two teams to give it all, but be cautious enough not to lose. StevieDay1983
FK Qarabag vs Arsenal In terms of travelling, Arsenal have got it tough in the Europa League. In this second round of group stage games, the Gunners fly out to Azerbaijan to face FK Qarabag at the Azersun Arena for a 5:55pm kick-off. These random kick-off times are really messing with my OCD but here we go! FK Qarabag have been punching above their weight for a while now on the European stage. The defending champions of the Azerbaijan Premier League are regularly competing in the group phases of European competition when it was not long ago that Azeri sides would be out of Europe by the start of September. This season, Gurban Gurbanov's side came close to reaching the group stages of the Champions League. They fought their way past Slovenian side Olimpija and Albanian club Kukesi. Unfortunately, they exited that competition at the 3rd Round of Qualifying in a tight 2-1 aggregate to Belarus side BATE Borisov. The Azeri side then needed to beat Moldovan surprise package Sheriff Tiraspol in the Playoff Round of the Europa League to reach this group phase. Arsenal have had it a bit easier this season. Automatic qualification for the group phase came from their final league position last season in the Premier League. Not qualifying for the Champions League was a disappointment but hardly a shock in Arsene Wenger's last campaign. It is now Europa League specialist Unai Emery who takes charge of the London club heading into this season's competition. The opening round of games delivered contrasting fortunes for these two clubs. FK Qarabag suffered a 2-0 loss away to Portuguese side Sporting CP. Hardly a surprise result but still one that leaves the Azeri side needing something here to avoid being cut adrift after just two matches. Arsenal cruised to a 4-2 win at home against Ukrainian outfit Vorskla Poltava. Emery will be frustrated that his side surrendered a 4-0 lead by conceding two goals in the final 13 minutes of that game. FK Qarabag have a terrible record against English opposition in European competition. Over the years, in all European competitions, the Azeri side have played English sides on four occasions and lost all four by an aggregate score-line of 14-1. This will be a tough game for Arsenal. FK Qarabag are a difficult side to beat in their own back yard. This task is a lot tougher with the Gunners set to be without key attacking players Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Aaron Ramsey. Henrikh Mkhitaryan is also not in the squad due to political issues between Azerbaijan and Mkhitaryan's native Armenia. Arsenal will do very well to take any win here so I don't see any value in their outright odds. A cheeky handicap for FK Qarabag might be worth a shout. allthethings
In the early matches I'm on Rosenborg-RB Leipzig X @ 4.00. I will be on RB Salzburg-Celtic X @ ridiculously good odds of 4.35 only if money starts to flow in to Celtic. cluelessG
Anderlecht - Dinamo Zagreb Dinamo had a great first match in their EL group and their domestic form is pretty good too. Anderlecht somehow managed to lose at Spartak Trnava, despite having a few decent chances. The Belgians are sitting 3rd in their domestic league, a few points behind Brugge and Genk already, having scored only 2 goals in their last 5 matches. I've taken AH +0 on Dinamo Zagreb, I believe they are generally at the same level as Anderlecht and the mini-crisis at Anderlecht may cancel the advantage of playing at home (and they might be pressure for the home side to win to keep chances of progressing from the EL group). Odds 2.35 at pinnacle, 2.3 at bet365. StevieDay1983 and hristofor

I have a feeling that money is flowing the other way - to Salzburg. If Celtic try to attack and leave spaces at the back - they might be in for a humiliating loss. The money did flow the other way, to 6.07, making it a no-play for me. I'm wondering whether Salzburg to score two is a good halftime bet, as they have been dominant. Though Celtic had one pulled back for offside.
allthethings
In the late games, my only bet is likely to be Rapid Wien to win at around 3.86. Apollon and Krasnodar have both flirted for big dog status, which would make them both draw picks if Marseille or Sevilla drop to below 2.00. allthethings
By the way, there are many huge away dogs looking to get a result here, which would be quite shocking as something like 90% of the dogs of over 8.00 lose in this round. AEK, Dudelange, Olympiakos, Trnava. Celtic taking something here would be a big upset as well.
allthethings
Rapid 4.20, Krasnodar X 3.80 First time in a long time I parlayed some 2HT games and anything I would have done would have won. There were a lot of goals in the 2HT, and all the favorites came roaring back.
