  1. Hi Stevie-this is not the first time this has happened. I think that Chansiri probably doesn't have as much money as people think, or is getting to a point where he doesn't want to keep funding the losses. The whole club is a basket case and it is mainly to do with him making poor decisions. I can think of very few good decisions he has made. I'm hoping he sells up but he's already put in over £100m and has an unrealistic view of the value of the club so doubt he would find a buyer at the price he wants. I can see this all ending up in the club going into administration, but how far
  2. Sheffield Wed v Coventry i have just heard part of Tony Pulis's press conference and he said that dominic iorfa, julian borner, joost van aken and massimo luongo would not be fit for saturday. This is in addition to other injured payers: westwood, marriott, and aden flint. That list includes 4 centre halves. Wednesday are on a losing run and also the players have not been paid in full for november. In the light of this i will be backing Coventry at around 2/1
  3. stoke have apparently 10 injuries after boro were over physical with them including fletcher, clucas, obi mikel. So i would tend toward cardiff or the draw
  4. i was trying to edit the original post Stevie-i'm a bit of a fuckwit
  5. Man utd v RB Leipzig Angelino plays as a wing back for leipzig and has 2 in 5 in the league and 2 in 2 in the champions league. Last week he scored both goals in the champions league and prior to that he scored the first goal in a league game. I will try him as first goalscorer at 20/1 B365
  6. Chelsea v Liverpool There should be goals here. Virgil van dijk scored last week and went close to getting a second. Chelsea are often vulnerable aerially and van dijk will be a threat at set pieces. Bet: buy van dijk goal minutes at 6 (sporting/spreadex)
  7. skybet have a market called relegation treble which i will have a dart at: aston villa/ west brom/ fulham look the most obvious candidates to me at 20/1 villa only just stayed up last year and i can't see dean smith reverting to a different way of playing plus their recruitment was shocking fulham were so bad 2 years ago and the manager is inexperienced west brom just don't look that good a team to me other candidates like palace, brighton, sheff utd, burnley, newcastle should have enough though if sean dyche left burnley they would struggle i think
  8. Timo werner scored 28 goals last year in the bundesliga and looks likely to be chelsea's main striker. Chelsea also appear to be recruiting well with ziyech coming in and havertz rumoured. William hill's 14/1 looks a little too high to me so i'll have some of that (top premier league goalscorer market)
  9. well most people will have got that final wrong @harry_rag
  10. I fancy Bayern but think psg will get a couple of goals and have bought paredes assist minutes at 8 as I feel he is the best psg midfield passer and can put in neymar. Hopefully neymar is more clinical than recently (with spreadex)
  11. I will be interested to see if Lucas Ocampos starts tonight as he is Sevilla's best attacker. He was taken off in the semi final and his reaction looked as if he knew he would miss the final. He also had a heavily strapped leg so he was obviously carrying an injury. Without him the advantage goes to Inter but they are favourites anyway.
  12. some important team news for tonight: timo werner will not be playing
  13. Psg were poor i thought @harry_rag and only saved by the introduction of mbappe. I think they will be heading out in the next round as the midfield is functional at best and they rely too heavily on neymar and mbappe.
  14. Do you have an opinion on the winner of the tournament @harry_rag ? I think that both inter and man utd are being priced up on reputation and that sevilla will beat man utd on sunday.
  15. reguilon will be marking traore, good chance of a booking
  16. wolves v sevilla jules kounde could have scored 3 goals v roma as he hit the bar with a header, had a goal disallowed for a marginal offside and had another effort blocked on the line. He is not usually prolific and wolves defence is unlikely to be as porous as roma's was. He probably offers value though in goalscorer markets: first and last =50/1 and anytime 20/1 with skybet.
  17. sevilla looked very good last night-roma couldn't get near them
  18. good luck tomorrow @StevieDay1983 i've had a bet on cardiff at 33/1 for promotion (after the first leg defeat)
  19. I feel sorry for wigan too @StevieDay1983 and if the rumours are true about the owner having a big bet on them being relegated (rick parry discussed with fan) then the EFL are complicit in waving through the dodgy change of ownership and doing nothing to avert the 12 point deduction.
  20. The hull bet went well (see above) The useless efl have still not decided upon whether to punish sheffield wednesday (they keep passing the buck to an independent commission). A 9 point deduction (the same as birmingham last year) would be enough to relegate them.At this stage i suspect any punishment will be applied next year.
  21. i've been a bit disappointed @harry_rag, i thought he'd score more. I also bought mcginn at 3.5 and he scored 3 early on then got injured. Greenwood was one i was looking at also, with hindsight that would have been profitable. I think he was about 6 to buy.
  22. sheffield wednesday v manchester city wednesdays only chance in this would be if they put out a combative team and city played a weakened team. I don't think this will happen as wednesdays two most aggresive midfielders hutchinson and luongo are out of favour and injured respectively . Guardiola rested a few on sunday and also with them being out of the premiership title race, i think they will put a strong team out and expect city to win easily. i have bought the city supremacy at 2.25 goals, phil fodens goal minutes at 12 (sporting index) and also backed city to win
