  1. Something Exciting David Elsworth's high class filly could be a cut above her rivals on Saturday. She should act on the going more than you can say about Alexander Goldrun the short priced fav who will find the going a slog in the mud and on a track she hasn't raced on before. C/D Something Exciting looks very much the pick of the race and is going to be my bet of the day for value
  2. 4.35 Goodwood The fast time run by TAX FREE at Newmarket may be good enough to land the spoils here after winning the valuable handicap. This horse has the hallmarks of group class quality. Tax Free has won all three sprints that he's contested and is clearly a smart horse over short trips 7f being his optimum trip Just how smart is hard to say until something pushes him to run his best. He's certainly well ahead of the handicapper with a 7lb penalty for his latest win but the David Nicholls horse will be hard to beat off this mark and the going should'nt pose any problems COMMENTS WELCOME
  3. MOUNT HILLABY Will be fit and ready i'm told at Haydock tomorrow night a good bet is on the cards for me also seb sanders should be in the thick of things as he has some fancied rides here
  4. Re: Lee'o'Hare real or bollox Bollax absolutely ive had e mails from him too get his tips from racing post ? anoyher conman beware !
  5. Re: ***Race Of The Week: John Smiths Cup*** This race is as competitive as ever and there are doubts over much of the field regarding trip, going etc and I have narrowed it down to two, Zero Tolerance who may get able to get an easy lead from a good draw and WOODCRACKER from the Michael Bell stable with Darryll Holland a positive jockey booking and the latter is the selection, however have a small each way saver on Zero Tolerance.
  6. RISING SHADOW 2.40 Newcastle Connections are confident that this will win today, they told me its been working better than ever, the ground is right and nothing will get in its way today. Looks good value and one not to be missed!
  7. DASH TO THE TOP Was without doubt one of last seasons promising juvenile fillies and is bred to excel as a 3yo. Being by Montjeu and out of a Nashwan mare middle distances will not prove a problem her dams mother One in a Million was a top class miler winning 1000 guineas and Nashwan himself won the 2000 guineas before going on to great things over middle distances and it could be the same for this filly. She was withdrawn from the Oaks at Epsom as she didn't winter well acording to her trainer Luca Cumani but has shown plenty of speed in her races and although should stay at least 1m 4f she can get off to a winning start and make her class tell here in the 3.50 at Newcastle racing over 1m 2f

    Bluebok

Re: Bluebok Well Done pete cashed in myself got this one as a tip :clap
  9. 6.45 Sandown WHINHILL HOUSE Stable had Group 2 win here earlier in week and this horse looks all over a winner once again despite a penalty
  10. Re: 7.15 Sandown Yes pete I like the look of The Tatling as an e/w but a tough race. The Interesting one here could be Etlaala dropped in trip and he is very fast if he gets out, Barry Hills thinks highly of this one

    Derby

Re: Derby THE GEEZER looks a tempting bet as a Dark Horse and I Believe it will shorten before Derby Day next Saturday so I'm Having a bit e/w on this one as I Know its getting knocked as being short of Derby Class. The horse I'm afraid of though is GYPSY KING and because of Kieron's choice I'm going to now back him to win outright as I think this one by sadlers wells just could be a touch of class as improvement is definetly on the cards since his chester run
  12. Re: off to newmarket Well in pete, looks like u had a bril day m8 all the best :clap
