  1. Hi all Couple of matches have caught my eye this week and after a good start to season predicting, i kind of fell off the rails last week, but hey these are just the ideas of an internet bampot so tail at your own risk My nap for this week is the Jags at home to QOS. Ian McCall answered thistles calling two games ago when they sacked Caldwell, this raised eyebrows as he was doing a sterling job at Ayr. McCall is a thistle legend. His impact has been immediate in his first league game last week as they navigated what on paper was a gimmie for Caley thistle up North. A resounding 3-1 victory showed what everyone suspected, that this Thistle team has the quality to compete. This game at home to struggling QOS is a perfect homecoming opportunity for McCall to cement a solid return to his old club in his first game in front of a home support. He will have Jags up for this... take a skinny 1.75 for thistle to do the business..... which leads on to my leans for Ayr to beat Caley at home..... a generous 23/20 for high flying Ayr to beat ICT at home. Many thought Ayr would struggle after losing talisman striker Shankland to dundee Utd, the reality is that Alan Forest has stepped up to the plate and is banging the goals in. Caley experienced devastating news in midweek with their Chairman resigning and withdrawing all his financial support. Admin looms for Caley unless funds can be secured and there is feeling of desperation around the place. Confidence was sapped with a hammering by Thistle at home. Caley are a resolute team but this game against highflying Ayr who have won 5 on the bounce is happening at the wrong time for them and i think there is value to be had on Ayr here. I have leans also on Hearts 11/8 who are high value to beat a Killie side whose away form is not solid this season and i believe that Hearts are on a upswing and also Motherwell 19/20 whose pace on the flanks should have too much for a St Mirren side who are stuffy to play against but struggle to score goals. As always good luck 👍
  2. Hi there late shout as per, two fixtures that hold my attention this week both come in the SPL. Hamilton are an average side and look to gain an advantage on a plastic pitch at home, but what if a team that also plays their home games on a plastic pitch come calling, Livingston on paper have a better team and with Hamilton's main hold up man Oakley banned for this game, i think Hamilton will struggle to beat a physical Livingston side, good game for LIvingston to get back to winning ways and i think the 5/4 for the away win is good value. Have Hearts turned the corner, they certainly have shown great resilience their last two games against rivals hibs and against Aberdeen. This is the kind of game that Hearts should be winning and with the feel good factor surrounding the gorgie men the last week they should have too much for St Mirren take Hearts at 8/5. Good luck
  3. Great picks like i said I had 100 on steeler +6 turned to be the weakest pick from what i thought was my nap, but still won i had 30 on agoholar anytime i had 10 on panthers steelers giants rams they all came in i had 5 on panthers dolphins jets steelers rams giants that only failed due to a garbage time td by cowboys. overall thanks to your picks i killed it so thanks again (y)
  4. i placed singles on your 4 selections and parlayed the 4, just waiting on the rams but even if they don't come in excellent calls im 3/3 atm based on your picks
  5. Murderwell, is your mother well, Motherwell... who would've thought that the steelmen would be 3rd in the table. Having already dispatched the two Edinburgh giants easily already this season their solitary loss was at home to Celtic which is no disgrace in itself. Well play an expansive game under Robinson and are blessed with a lot of pace middle to front and this is causing teams all kinds of problems. Winger/Striker seedorf already looks like he could be one of the finds of the season and with a bucket load of goals coming from Hylton and Donnelly in midfield, well have goals in this team. They play Ross county who as a promoted side are playing as such. Ross huffed and puffed to a home win over St Mirren, i watched the game and Ross county are nothing special and will be there or thereabouts come the relegation spaces in May. This is as routine as a home win for Mother well as you can get and im all over the 1.8. Inverness Caley have slowly started to get their shit together after a opening day gubbing at tannadice they have gone about business in a good manner they are a team on the up and should have too much for bad travelers QOS today . Back Caley at 1.7 Dundee Utd will be too good for Arbroath at tannadice, classic bounce back game for the title favourites after shitting the bed away to Ayr last week. Back Utd at 1.44 My bets Motherwell 1.8 Caley 1.7 Utd 1.44 All singles and treble parlay at 4.42 fun bet Jack Aitchison to score a hatrick 80-1
  6. As i thought Aitchison came off the bench to score on his debut for FGR last week, it was the only goal in the game, he also hit the post. Going by FGR fans he was a class above when he came on. I have watched his development at Celtic, clever young player. i think he will score for fun in league 2 this season. I see he has been given a start at home to colchester, i have had a cheeky wee nibble at 6-1 first goal scorer.
  7. Hi folks i have an interest in two games in the Scottish leagues this weekend. Dundee at home to Alloa. Dundee actually didn't play that bad in the Dundee Derby but were at the end of a freak 6-2 scoreline against a rejuvenated Utd side. This is the classic bounce back game you would want against perennial strugglers Alloa Athletic. Alloa a team too good for league 1 but too poor for the championship. They will be relegated yet again this season and Dundee will have too much for them at dens park. This has been compounded with the fact that vet kpr Neil Parry is out for the season for Alloa after an injury suffered midweek, u21 kpr Chris Henry makes his his first first team start for Alloa. Comfortable home win take Dundee -1 @29/20 or parlay Dundee with.... East Fife away to Montrose. A real feel good factor at East Fife this season. The club is operating well off the field with the people behind the scenes doing their job. Players are being secured on contracts, morale is high and that is reflecting on a happy team on the park. They are deservedly top of the league playing some nice football. They are playing away at montrose a 90 min drive up the coast. Montrose were promoted last season and are finding the step up a hard adjustment. After drawing their first game they have lost 4 games in a row... this will be their 5th. Take East fife at 19/20 Bets to consider Dundee -1 @ 2.45 Dundee + East Fife combo @ 2.925 East Fife @ 1.95 Good luck Have Fun
  8. Jack Aitchison Celtic u21 striker joined Forest Green on loan last night. He was a prolific striker in the Celtic development team and seen as one for the future. He knows where the goal is, might worth a look at Forest Greens odds at the weekend
  9. Hi there and welcome to the new season from me, i usually like to start peaking in at the end of september where leagues usually settle down a bit and true quality and form rise to the top, not an exact science i know :D. Anyhow i couldn't help myself and will place a suggestion for the old firm game tomorrow. I think the books have been caught up in the hysteria surrounding Rangers recent revival under Stevie G. i am not typing this up with the green tinted glasses on, i try and look at this objectively. First of all the 3.00 on Celtic is absolutely massive. The books have decided that the last two games at Ibrox which Celtic lost 1-0 and 2-0 along with Rangers obvious improvement means that Celtic are underdogs tomorrow. The first loss under Rodgers was when rodgers was at loggerheads with the board over transfers at xmas and all was not well in the camp, he picked a weakened team in a tactic the team hadn't played all year and Rangers destroyed them. The second loss was a dead rubber with the title already won and Celtic looking forward to an extremely important cup game in their treble treble ambitions. Celtic will turn up on sunday, this is the difference. On paper Celtic man to man have a stronger squad than Rangers and with the recent additions of Bauer and Elyounoussi who fit the Celtic transfer recruitment profile of two high transfer players who have good pedigrees and lost their way at their last team (a combined transfer of £22m) should have the quality to win. Don't get me wrong i have been impressed with Rangers of late and they are far more rigid and structured under Gerrard but they play very one dimensional football. If Celtic can weather Gerrard harem scarem high press approach in the first half hour and nullify the right flank Celtic will be favourites to win. Celtic this season are the highest scoring top flight team in europe at this early stage and i truly believe will breach rangers tomorrow. Odds of 3.00 are absolutely massive for a team that have swept all asunder last 3 seasons, have hit the ground running apart for one brainfart half against Cluj Bets in this fixture you should consider Celtic 3.00 Celtic BTS 6.00 Celtic o/u 2.5 5.2 Real value here
  10. I have one bet i like this weekend in the Scottish Leagues not much of a write-up Falkirk at home to Alloa slightly odds on Decent home form of late unbeaten in 5, have the gipsies on Alloa this season 7 points out of 9 so far. Alloa are a league 1 side, this matchup will reinforce this. Take Falkirk at 1.86
  11. Forfar athletic are a massive price at home to Arbroath, this game is far closer than the books would make you think. A few facts Forfars recent home form is the best in the division of late 7 league wins in a row. This is a local derby, 15miles separate the two teams, Arbroath have taken their foot off the gas recently with only 1 win in their last 5 games. Forfar will play Arbroath hard today By no means a certain win, 3.70 with Ladbrokes is too big a price for me to ignore Also 4 other bets i really like are Motherwell, Dundee Utd, Dumbarton and Ross County thanks
  12. a few bets I like in the Scottish program this weekend. A safe bet I think is Motherwell at home to Hamilton at odds 1.75 Motherwell's well documented 6 game win streak came to an abrupt halt at the hands of Celtic they then drew away to Killie at rugby park too tuff fixtures. This game should see Motherwell kick back into action at home in the Lanarkshire derby v Hamilton. the fixtures between the two are an even split this season with a win apiece however after watching both teams play recently my gut tells me that Motherwell will out muscle Accies today. Take Motherwell to win at 1.75 The other safe bet for me is Ross County at home to Morton. Morton beat Ross County the first fixture between the two sides in Greenock, County subsequently pumped them 5-0 in the return fixture. Morton then beat County at home in a bad-tempered game where county were reduced to 10 men in the final moments. Raith have won their last 4 fixtures at home Morton have lost their last 3 away fixtures, use that with the info that County's talisman striker Billy Mackay is hitting form with 5 goals in his last 4 games and you have a grudge match that County should nail. Take County at shorter odds of 1,53 Strong lean for value here Dumbarton away at Montrose at odds 2.2 Where has the Dumbarton from early season gone, in recent games they have been playing like promotion contenders. It took at last minute equaliser from Rovers to deny Dumbarton the win two games ago, then Dumbarton then beat league leaders Arbroath 2-0, it was 2-0 going on 5/6, that's 4 points out of 6 against two of the top teams in the league, don't ignore the fact that they had taken 8 points out of a possible 12 in the 4 games immediately prior to these two tough games. So Dumbarton who have diced with the relegation spots for 2/3s of the season are finding a nice bit of form at the right time and a wee unbeaten run of 6 games. Montrose are fairly solid at home but their form of late has been a bit hit and miss so at a fair price I expect the Dumbarton juggernaut to keep on rolling lol and win the bet today. Take the Sons at odds around 2.2
  13. Hi all i try and not post unless i have a bet i really like, but this is just my view so make your own choices. First pick is Partick Thistle away to Alloa in Scottish Championship. There are signs that the jags are slowly turning the corner, and not before long, some solid form now in the championship, unbeaten in their last 4 games and coming off a two game win streak. This is not bottom of the table form and the away trip to perennial strugglers Alloa is welcome who are on a 3 game losing streak. (alloa are one of those limbo clubs, too good for SFL1 too bad for SFL championship so they always promote and relegate in subsequent seasons) This is a relegation season for Alloa . The board have backed the jags manager by allowing him to sign old compatriot Scott Mcdonald. His experience is very valuable at this level and i believe he will score for fun in the Championship. Jags are a team to certainly a team to follow over the next few games. Take the Jags at 1.83 Second Pick is Raith at home to Arbroath. Kirkaldy is not a place to go if your Form is dipping. Dont laugh a friend of a friend who knows someone from within Arbroath FC said the team was not playing well atm so should not back This was against Forfar two games back, i m kicking myself as i did not follow and guess what Arbroath got pumped by 10 men 2-0. This was followed up with losing another slender lead at home to bad travellers Stranraer to draw 1-1. Is this a confidence wobble... i think away to tough opponents Raith who are in second spot is not a spot i want to be in atm Take Raith at 2.37
  14. For those looking for a fairly solid treble...I have been researching recent form and head to heads and for me you cant really look far beyond Arbroath, Ross County, and Peterhead this weekend. They have in recent times the so called gypsies on their respective opponents today. Treble pays 3.35-1 at Ladbrokes For those that are even more adventurous you can add East Fife, Airdrie, Hearts and Edinburgh to the mix in any combo. Obviously i'm not an expert and opinions are like arseholes .....
