Just a single today and it's Teichmann to beat Azarenka. The Swiss has a couple of clean wins behind her, compared to Azarenka who's had to dig in for both of her victories to reach this stage. I wouldn't give Teichmann much of a chance on a hard court, as evidenced by their meeting at the AO where Azarenka was an easy winner, but on clay which is Teichmann's best surface and Azarenka's worst, I think she should be the favourite.

20pts Teichmann to beat Azarenka @ 2.00 Betfair Sportsbook

Never have I been so frustrated by watching a match. Norrie cannot keep a serve… When he succeeds to break the opponent, loses again the very next game :(

Was able to use only 2 break chances out of 16…

Nearly as bad as Alcaraz against Ramos-Vinolas. He's just broken back - hopefully he can take the third set and then who knows he could still win.

Not a bad day for me in the end. It started off looking like Teichmann was going to lose, but she managed to turn it around and then both Nadal and Alcaraz scored comprehensive victories. Nadal's was expected, but Alcaraz was far more dominant than probably even he thought was possible, especially after his struggles in the last round and against an opponent who beat him the last time they played. Djokovic remains the favourite in the betting and he was an easy winner against Bedene. It'll be interesting to see how he gets on when he meets an opponent capable of pushing him and the same can be said for Nadal bearing in mind his injury problems prior to the tournament.

Ever since he came to the spotlight I believed that he was just a huge copycat of Federer (in terms of style) and nothing else beyond that really.

the match against schwartzman was so random, thats what pisses me off , cause there was no way for me to see that he's gonna play so horidly after a very good clay season for him. There was no rhime or reason to it, shows you that he''ll never change.

Jessica Pegula to beat Tamara Zidansek at 1.38 with Unibet

Despite nearly choking away a 6-1 5-1 lead, Pegula was pretty awesome against Kalinina, the match was intense from start to finish, bar the first set. Zidansek looks undercooked coming into this and hasn't beaten a player of Pegula's level all year long.

Mikael Ymer to beat @+1200 to beat Tsitsipas

Mackenzie Mcdonald@+800 to beat Sinner

Shelby Rogers@+210 to beat Kasatkina

With William Hill: Here we have some clear inflated lines. I agree with four leaf's read, and had already bet this.. Ymer hit 49 winners in his last match.. He's friendly with Stefanos, and could be a let down, and rest spot for the Greek. I'm high on Mcdonald for some reason.. I like the way he hits the ball and his experience.. He has a history of doing well with surprises in majors.. Let's also not forget that Sinner may be dealing some feet issues, and might not be playing at his peak level if that's the case for this match.. I just like Rogers on clay.. she hits hard, and plays well when she's on. I see the match very close, and tough to deal with Shelby's firepower.

Diego schwartzman is a proficient clay court player.  It really was not on Dimitrov.  I thought the line was off when I first saw it, because if Diego is ever going to win; then it's going to be on clay, and he likes Roland Garros also.

I'm trying a boosted acca today, plus a couple of WTA matches and adding to an outright position. The boosted acca contains four WTA favourites who should win and that's Kasatkina, Sabalenka, Pegula and Badosa. I'm least convinced by Sabalenka's chances because her serving woes might decide to make an appearance, plus her opponent Giorgi has a very high level when she's on and she's looked good so far here and so I'm backing Giorgi in a single separately. The other player I want to back is Jeanjean, who played really well against Pliskova to make this round. Her reward is a match against Begu and whilst Begu is a better clay court player than Pliskova, if I'm Jeanjean then I'm viewing this as a match I can definitely win having just taken down a top 10 player.

The outright I'm adding to, despite my misgivings, is Tsitsipas. As I've mentioned, it's very difficult to see how he can win this with the way his game is right now but at the same time I think his price has been disproportionately impacted by his lacklustre performances so far. The fact remains he made the final last year, clay is his favourite surface, his form coming here was good, he's a top 5 player and he should be making the next round at least. He'll need to step up if he's going to be in contention towards the end of this tournament, but as Alcaraz demonstrated last night it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

10pts Kasatkina (vs. Rogers) x Sabalenka (vs. Giorgi) x Pegula (vs. Zidansek) x Badosa (vs. Kudermetova) @ 4.39 365

10pts Giorgi to beat Sabalenka @ 3.50 365

15pts Jeanjean to beat Begu @ 3.40 365

30pts Tsitsipas to win ATP French Open @ 8.25 Betfair Exchange

Thanks @Torque. I'd love to see more of your tips like that.. Win or lose - it's always good to see what people are betting and why.  I actually like Mcdonald more than Ymer, and just betting Mikael at big odds.. I'm sure I'll get proven wrong, but it could be a close match also. I think Stefanos might be experimenting on his backhand drive a bit.. Could explain some mixed results recently.

I can completely understand anyone who's backing Ymer. If you're right about Tsitsipas experimenting with his backhand, he might want to give that a rest until after the tournament. It's better to have a weak shot you feel confident about hitting than a new shot you're not so sure about hitting, even if it is a better shot when you get it right. He does need to work on his backhand, but now is definitely not the time - especially as it can take a lot of time to remodel any shot.

Gilles Simon to beat Marin Cilic at 5.00 with Betsson

This edition of RG is featuring Simon when at his best despite his 37 years on earth. I'm happy to back him for another win especially when he's got Cilic number through out their careers. He's 6-1 up on Marin and has only lost in USO 2014 when Cilic had the best weeks of his 17 year career as a pro.

If Mcdonald takes this set .. Sinner could be potentially in trouble.. It's been a grind em out match so far, and Sinner playing with tape under his knee. I would guess that Macdonald has more in the tank for a 5 set match, I have a feeling he might start to play better if he levels the match. I agree that Simon has a chance in this one, but my gut was telling me Cilic.. I think Simon has like crazy 5-1 or 6-1 h2h in this matchup.. Good luck on your bets today.

That's the end of my day. Giorgi's win cancelled out the Jeanjean loss and the acca loss. Tsitsipas beat Ymer in impressive fashion which will hopefully mean he heads into the next round full of confidence after a couple of frustrating performances from his perspective.

Martina Trevisan to beat Aliaksandra Sasnovich at 2.12 with Pinnacle

Not quite sure what to make of the odds here. Sasnovich is good, of course, but Trevisan is the most in-form player (aside from Swiatek) on the tour right now and she hasn't spent that much time on the courts here for fatigue to play a role in my opinion. And do I think she's the better clay courter of the two? Most definitely. For my worth, the odds should be the other way around here.

Tsitsipas cruised against the very weak Ymer. The Swedish was absolutely useless, and i wonder why some of you picked him to beat Tsitsipas.

For me, Tsitsipas MAIN weakness is his father. I noticed ZERO progress for the last three years. Truly, Tsitsipas was BETTER in year 2019 than now.

If he doesn't get rid of his idiot father, no more progress is ahead for him. His idiot father, is the curse of Tsitsipas.

It's the last 16 and that's when I start to look at trying to balance my outright book. There's a few I like on both the Men's and Women's sides that I think are too big and so I'll be backing them and hoping that I hit a winner for the Men or the Women - or both if I'm lucky.

10pts Kasatkina to win WTA French Open @ 29.42 Betfair Exchange

5pts Anisimova to win WTA French Open @ 16.19 Betfair Exchange

5pts Zverev to win ATP French Open @ 49.02 Betfair Exchange
