  2. I've just done VETIVER 20/1eway bet365 ( 4 places ) It'll only be her 8th start with 3 wins over 7-8.5f on good to soft / soft & heavy , Balding / Probert good combo & she was 3rd in Group 3 fillies & mares over 7f here in September staying on , she's also already won a Listed , has had a 174 day break but won 1st time out last season & was placed on her debut run & i thought 20's was over priced ( probably be 50's now I've taken early price ) Slightly worried that @richard-westwoodhas picked Dutch Decoy as I used to have an eyelash in him but gave up on him when Johnston Snr would just run him on all weather but Johnston Jnr is doing a cracking job with him on turf .

To be fair, I am into my 70s ........ the old brain is a bit too addled to start doing complicated things with computers, particularly as I never learned to use them apart from what I taught myself I'm happy enough to study the form in the old fashioned way and just form the ratings and keep them on a Word document ....... I don't keep a record for each horse just jot down the winners rating then I can quickly look up a horses last 2 or 3 figures by reference to the race winner of the races he ran in I've never really been attracted to systems or data analysis ........ I'm interested in the horses that are running today and I'm happy enough studying today's race without reference to what other horses have done in the past. I've got the form of today's runners and that's all I need !

  8. Similar to yourself , we used to go racing every month & as well as watching football live but now just 4/5 times a season & 2/3 of those will be free days courtesy of rewards for racing . I'm quite a frugal person who looks & enjoys value for money but the whole day out at racing taxis , trains , food , drink , entrance fees & the on course prices of everything I feel like the whole experience is like being tipped upside down until every penny falls out of your pockets , on the positive side , I'm so looking forward to Craven Meeting in a few weeks but we don't do weekends racing anymore , more morons there than you get at the football & at the Craven Meeting i doubt they'll be more than 1,000 people in attendance & kudos to Newmarket for still operating the free shuttle bus to the train station , shame on Huntingdon for scrapping theirs .

This reads a bit like how i first started (we have read the same book) but it didn't take me long to find so many flaws ( you have already found 1 🙂) so i went fishing 3 days and nights and gave it a shit load of thought came back and totally simplified it and it worked pretty well now here is something that might interest you and @Trotter when i applied the methodology to the aw racing something quirky happened namely that it became less good at predicting the winner but very good at predicting the places my best guess on this, it is because back then AW racing was very low grade piss poor horses running on just 3 tracks all different. Southwell (fibresand), lingfield and then Wolves all three tracks have changed since then and it has now become pretty close to turf (equivalent to good to firm) believe it or not so you can at a pinch switch between the two for the majority of Runners. I would be quite happy to have a face to face chat with you on messenger or some such to discuss things but i will not put it on here it would be pointless and take up to much time.

  10. Now that Cheltenham has been put to bed we can concentrate (well for a day or two anyway!) on the real stuff as flat turf racing returns this weekend with the Lincoln two day meeting at Doncaster. The ground on Town moor this weekend is currently soft (not surprisingly) and as they are due some more of the wet stuff on Wednesday and bits and pieces towards race day it’s a fair assumption that the ground will be soft still come the weekend. Here’s a rundown of the top thirty in the handicap currently (note that only twenty two can run). MIGRATION (David Menuisier) 8 9-13 Last year’s winner who loves the mud. 4lb higher than last year but showed very little in three runs since. Not without claims if in the same form as a year ago and useful 3lb claimer Paddy Bradley already booked. JOHAN (Jack Channon) 7 9-8 Has an excellent record fresh winning first time out the last two years including this very race in 2022 off of a handicap mark of 4lb lower than today’s under Silvestre Sousa who’s already provisionally booked to ride.A live each way contender with conditions to suit. RAADOBARG (George Boughey) 6 9-7 Ran a good third in Monday’s Irish Lincoln at The Curragh (1 1/4L behind Chazzesmee). Yet to win in nine starts for Boughey but run plenty of good races in defeat on soft ground which obviously suits. Unlikely to run here apparently. MOSTABSHIR (John & Thady Gosden) 4 9-5 Lightly raced grey from a big yard that won this race for same connections with Haaqeey in 2021. Not as exciting a profile as that one however and is un tested on soft ground. Stated by trainers on Wednesday as unlikely to run due to the soft ground conditions. AWAAL (Simon & Ed Crisford) 5 9-4 Runner up to Migration in this race last year, beaten 1 1/4L and is now 4lb better off with that rival. Adores the mud and subsequently ran well when placed in Hunt Cup and Bunbury Cup. Forget his last run at Ascot as he was dreadfully drawn. A major player with Harry Davies booked. LIBERTY LANE (Karl Burke) 4 9-4 Lightly raced who won a decent class 2 handicap on soft ground over course and distance at the St Leger meeting last September. Ground probably too fast on only subsequent run in Cambridgeshire. Been gelded since and looks a major player. Clifford Lee already booked. THUNDER BALL (Paul & Oliver Cole) 4 9-3 Proven on soft ground and had a fruitful 2023 winning at Newbury and Goodwood rising 26lb in the process. Also ran 4th when 66/1 in Britannia Handicap at Royal Ascot. Useful 5lb conditional jockey Alec Voikhansky booked. Did need his first run last season. THE GATEKEEPER (Charlie Johnstone) 5 9-2 Best on soft ground and finished off last season when a 25/1 winner of the Balmoral Handicap at Ascot’s Champions Day fixture. Has been raised 4lb for that victory and will racing off of a career high mark. VETIVER (Andrew Balding) 4 9-0 Best runs have come on soft ground and is relatively lightly raced. This will be her eighth career start. Ended up last season with a good fifth in Balmoral Handicap to The Gatekeeper, beaten 2 3/4L and 4lb better off now. Each way claims if straight enough (did win by 5 1/2L on re-appearance as a three year old). REVICH (Richard Spencer) 8 9-0 Two wins from ten runs last season came at Chester and Ayr. Ran 9th in this last year on his re-appearance when a 40/1 poke and 5lb higher now. Ground should be fine and Jason Hart booked. BLUES EMPEROR (Johnny Murtagh) 5 8-13 Yet to race in Britain. A winner of good ground handicaps at Naas and The Curragh last season over a mile. Flopped on latest start in listed company in soft ground but has shown he handles the mud fine. CHAZZESMEE (J A Stack) 6 8-13 (inc. 5lb penalty) Landed a bit of a touch when winning the Irish Lincoln at The Curragh on Monday with Raadobarg back in third. If re-appearing here will have to carry a 5lb penalty but will be strip fit and loves soft ground. Plenty going for him if over what looked a hard enough race on Monday. NAVAGIO (James Horton) 5 8-12 Ex Irish (trained by R P Cody) and joined James Horton at his new base in Newmarket. Soft ground suits well and was a winner of two soft ground races last season over a mile at Limerick and Gowran Park. 11lb higher than his last win which he won by a head in a five runner race in July. Mark looks high enough and has 238 day absence to overcome. LATTAM (Julie Camacho) 5 8-11 Has joined Julie Camacho from William Haggas at the October horses-in-training sales for 50,000 guineas. Short head winner of the Irish equivalent to this first time out last season on bottomless ground. Has won first time out for the last two seasons now and if his capable trainer has freshened him up looks a interesting each way play. DUTCH DECOY (Charlie Johnston) 7 8-9 Newmarket winner last July off of a 3lb lower mark than todays. That was his only victory in twelve outings although he dis perform well in defeat on a number of occasions. Soundly beaten in Lincoln consolation on the card a year ago. Hard to fancy much. DRAGON ICON (Roger Varian) 4 8-9 Two from 5 on the all weather and finished fifth of 9 in the German 2000 Guineas only start on turf. Badly drawn last time and ran an eye catching race. More likely to be of interest if rocking up at All Weather Finals day the following weekend. FARHH TO SHY (George Margarson) 6 8-8 Benoit De La Sayette already booked. 8lb higher now than when winning a soft ground Ascot handicap last May (also won at Yarmouth two months later off of a 4lb higher mark). Already beaten twice off of his current handicap mark and needs to step his game up once more. GREATGADIAN (Roger Varian) 6 8-8 Arrives in good form from the all weather having finished runner up in two class 3 Newcastle handicaps already this month. Ran well when 6th in this last year, beaten 4 3/4L to Migration & Awaal. 8lb lower now so is effectively 12lb and 8lb better off with that pair and looks best of the big outsiders. Last year’s rider Adrian Keeley already booked. MR PROFESSOR (Dominic Ffrench Davis) 5 8-8 A winner of just four of his 29 career starts including last September at Goodwood on soft ground. 5lb higher now but loves soft ground and David Egan already booked which is an upgrade on his usual rider Owen Lewis. CHUZZLEWIT (Kevin Ryan) 4 8-8 Been busy on the all-weather this year winning at Newcastle last week from Greatgadian in first time blinkers. Not certain to confirm that form on 3lb worse terms and has definite questions to answer on soft ground (beat one home in a 22 runner handicap at York on his only run on soft ground) MAJESTIC (Jack Channon) 6 8-7 Stable won this race in 2022 with the also entered Johan. Failed to win 2023 in eight attempts although ran well in defeat on occasions including when fourth in this race to Migration and Awaal (beaten 3 1/2L) and ending up with a creditable fourth in the Cambridgeshire. Channon in form and could hit the first six again. PARLANDO (Ian Williams) 5 8-7 Been racing in Bahrain this spring, winning one of his four starts there under Gerard Mosse. That was on fast ground and although a winner, on his debut, on good to soft, is unlikely to have encountered ground as slow as this although he doesn’t look that badly treated despite a 5lb penalty. 5lb claiming apprentice Sean D Bowen already booked. HIERONYMOUS (George Baker) 8 8-7 Fit from the all weather and has to shoulder a 5lb penalty for winning at Kempton in February. Yet to win in seventeen attempts on the turf and looks better on a synthetic surface. Tough to fancy. BET ME (George Boughey) 4 8-5 Two runs on all weather since joining Boughey from France although was previously trained by Richard Hannon over here. Looks best on soft ground with form figures of 131 and lightly raced enough to warrant a second look. ONE NIGHT THUNDER (Gemma Tutty) 4 8-4 Trainer in good form. Had just the two starts for her having been bought for just 15,000 guineas last September. Showed he handles very soft ground when fourth at Newmarket on first run for Tutty last November. Last only subsequent run on all weather at 18/1 though. SPIRIT GENIE (Jennie Candlish) 4 8-2 Winner of a seller on soft ground at Leicester last October and not disgraced when runner up on heavy in Newmarket handicap the following month (One Night Thunder back in fourth). Ground will suit but be a shock were he good enough. ARKENDALE (Edward Bethell) 4 8-1 Soft ground winner of novice stakes at Thirsk last June before joining current trainer. Poor last run on heavy in first time cheek pieces and has been gelded since. More needed. LIGHT SPEED (Andrew Balding) 4 8-1 Yet to race on turf. Three wins from six starts on the all weather. Soundly beaten last time mind and hard to fancy at all. DARWELL LION (Ruth Carr) 6 8-1 Has spent nearly all of his career on the all weather winning four of his 18 starts. Soundly beaten on only turf run though that was on his second ever start back in September 2021. Impossible to fancy. BASS PLAYER (Kevin Frost) 5 8-0 Just the one win from fifteen starts in his career. Only raced three times for latest trainer Kevin Frost. Stopped quickly and came back with a irregular heart beat at Wolverhampton last time and plenty of questions to answer now. SUMMARY:- Last year’s winner (Migration), second (Awaal), fourth (Majestic), sixth (Greatgadian) and ninth (Revich) are all back to renew rivalry with Awaal possibly likely to turn out the best on 4lb better terms with the winner although Greatgadian is considerably better off with the front two and can be part of the staking plan arriving here in good form from the all weather. Monday’s Irish Lincoln winner Chazzesmee can’t be dismissed either if taking in the engagement although he did have a hard enough race that day on desperate ground. Liberty Lane is a progressive horse who’s been gelded since last seen and obviously likes slow ground, he has to be thereabouts. Julie Camacho has taken over the training of last year’s Irish Lincoln winner Lattam and is a very interesting runner as he adores the mud and if she has sweetened him up could be a value each way play. Last year’s renewal was run on heavy ground and both the Spring Mile (the consolation race) and in the Lincoln high numbers had the call with all of the low drawn horses seemingly at a disadvantage. Obviously the draw can change from one meeting to another so lets not get too bogged down with stall positions until Thursday and the 48 hour declaration stage at least. The two most unexposed sorts are at the top of the market and I’ll happily split my stake win only on that pair with a couple of each way stabs at Lattam and Greatgadian. Staking plan:- AWAAL 1 point win @ 9/2 Unibet LIBERTY LANE 1 point win 11/2 bet365 LATTAM 1 point each way @ 16/1 Coral 1/5th 12345 GREATGADIAN 1/4 point each way @ 40/1 1/5th 12345

Jansen was hard to take. He was throwing to make it into the Semi-Finals. He would have beaten Chizzy I'm sure of it. 350/1 so annoying. I'm glad DVD didn't win because I knew that pain in the ass was gonna win soon and i backed him the day before.

I see that Chazzesmee is declared for the Lincoln on Saturday He won the Irish Lincoln a few days ago and I did that day's ratings and had him with a figure of 90 which I think is pretty low for a top handicap winner. I intend to rate the Donny card on Saturday .... be interesting to see what he does.

  16. Mertens to beat Townsend - 1.61 with Betfair Mertens is the gatekeeper to seeing if people are top 30 level or not. She beats who she should beat and loses to those she should lose to mostly. She shouldn't lose to Townsend who has only beaten mostly lower ranked players recently, and needed three sets to do it a few times as well.

  20. Keys to beat Shnaider - 1.89 on Betfair Shnaider has been in good form but this moving up a level. Playing top 20 players at a 1000 event will be a heap more pressure, and she might be feeling some fatigue from her recent matches. Keys, although hasn't been in great form, will like being back on the faster courts and this looks a good price to take.

I am fortunate in that my financial background meant I had to use computers for much of my work. I remember back in 1981 when I was a trainee accountant at British Steel there was a shiny new PC in the corner of the room that everybody was scared of but I took the plunge and started to use it. In those days it was a twin floppy disk set up with the system disk in one side and the work disk in the other (512kb capacity, I used to hate the disk full message). Lotus123 was the spreadsheet of choice, I used to love that (especially writing macros) and it took me till the mid 2000s to ween myself off it and move to Excel. Before I retired a few years ago I just used to bet on Saturdays, typing data from the Racing Post into my spreadsheets (I was too tight to subscribe to a data service). Since being retired I have had more time (too much according to my wife) to analyse and test data and I am reasonably happy with the returns from my AW systems. I would hope to have all my inital work done in the next couple of weeks before the flat season starts to kick in properly. Where it leads me we will see.

I used to have a card index file for 3 mile chasers but even with such a specific group of horses it pretty quickly got out of hand. The problem in the olden days was that the Weekender or Sporting Life, later The Post, would only give you up to 3 previous runs in the form. If you wanted to know more than that you had to collect the weekly results pull out from the Raceform Weekly ? I became self employed in 1996 so gave up betting and racing for the next 12 years ........ when I came back to it I couldn't believe the amount of stuff available on the internet as regards form. Everything was so much easier and complete Unfortunately though I was never computer literate enough to get into all the data management ..... I'd never used a computer at all until I was about 4 years into self-employment when I thought I'd better take the plunge or I'd soon be Un-employed rather than self-employed. So I only learned how to do what I needed to do for work I'm still a pen and paper chap for keeping records of speed figures etc

When i first did speed figures i had to use index cards, this was very time consuming, with the advent of computerisation it was 1000 x faster especially when sorting the data for each new race. I must admit i loved having all those index cards but they were a bugger to keep sorting and flipping through even though they were alphabetical to the name of the horse.

Right, I'm diving straight into the deep end ! Be gentle with me, I'm an absolute beginner at this. I was going to concentrate on the all weather but as @Trotter says, we are now probably past the peak season for the AW. After rereading some of Nick Mordin's work he does state that the racing post standard times are valuable but compiling your own average times would produce more accurate figures. So, in for a penny, in for a pound. I will start with Ascot (purely based on the alphabet). I have taken data for 2022 (I am going to use 2023 as test data). For each race I have listed the date, class, distance and winning time. Most of this data I have been able to download automatically. 1. Convert the data into seconds per mile. This shows the the fastest time was in a 5 furlongs sprint and the slowest time in the Queen Alexandra Stakes over nearly 2 miles 6 furlongs. Logical so far. 2. Calculate the average time for each distance. 2. Calculate the average winning time by distance and by class. So as an example for 6 furlongs there were 8 races at class 1 with an average time of 73.73 seconds, class 2 was 74.03 seconds and class 3 was 75.13 seconds. Convert these into seconds per mile. 3. For each race subtract the winning time from the average for that distance and class. 4. Calculate the average for that meeting. This is the going allowance for that meeting. The highest adjustment (1.53 secs / mile) was in June when the going was good to firm, the lowest adjustment (-2.85 secs / mile) was in October when the going was good to soft. I disagree to a certain extent with Mr Mordin at this stage, he takes a subjective view of each meeting, in an example of a 6 race meeting he excludes one race because it was "probably won by an exceptional horse" and for 2 others he excludes them because he would "guess that they were slow-run affairs". That leaves him with just three races to calculate the going allowance. 5. Subtract the going allowance from the winning time. 6. Subtract the adjusted winning time from the average winning time for that distance. The highest figure was for Pyledriver in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth stakes. Intuitively this feels right. The winning time was 149.49 secs (100.00 secs / mile), the average winning time for that distance is 102.62 secs / mile. The going adjustment for that meeting was -0.10 secs / mile, giving Pyledriver a rating of +2.72. The lowest rating was Oh This Is Us in a class 3 classified stakes with a rating of -3.87. 7. Convert the ratings to a scale. Not strictly necessary but conceptually better. The top rated horse could be given a rating of 140 and the lowest 0, possibly as a comparative to the BHB official ratings. 8. Calculate the ratings for the remaining horses in each race. I will use Nick Mordin's assumption that every fifth of a second is counted as one length. So there it is, my starter for ten. It seems logical but I may be missing something. The next step is to calculate these numbers going back a number of years for Ascot and also for all other courses. Time consuming but doable using Excel. Hopefully the effort will be worth it.

Sloane Stephens to beat Sorana Cirstea at 1.80 with William Hill Stephens put in a surprisingly good performance against Kerber in the previous round, and she managed to beat Cirstea comfortably in Indian Wells, so I quite like the 1.80 that's on offer for her here. It's hard to like Cirstea in her first tournament matches as well.

  30. It was a rather quiet week in the Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League this round due to the FA Cup Quarter-Finals leaving us with a limited Premier League schedule. There were no doubt lots of managers who either forgot to make the necessary changes to their squad or were unable to use a free hit so scores were lower than usual. Current leader @skyblues88 stretched his Show Me the Mane's side's lead at the top to 9 points despite only managing to earn 16 points as a team this week. Fortunately for Jay, none of the chasing pack managed to capitalise on this low-scoring week. It means we're left with a closely contested top end of the table heading into the international break. Only 9 rounds of action remain and this season could not be more finely-poised. Manager of the Week saw an unsurprisingly low score this week. However, the 41 points achieved by Carl Joiner's star of kings side was a solid effort given the average points total for the week was just 12 points and the highest score in the world was 78 points. It's the third time Joiner's taken home the Manager of the Week award which suggests his 43rd position in the table doesn't fairly reflect his managerial prowess. At the other end of the table, we saw a competitive battle for the lowest score and I believe history has been made. It's the first time we've actually had a 0 points score in this league. Not a huge shock given the few fixtures taking place and the fact some managers have clearly resigned themselves to failure this season! @HERE is undoubtedly one of the great competition participants across the Punters Lounge forum but in this particular competition, they are falling short. Their Upstarts team was solid in their own right but their lack of involvement in the fixtures this past weekend ruined Russell's hopes of getting any points. Come on, Russell, you're better than this! You'll end up being given the surname Kindelan if you carry on like this! As mentioned above, it's the international break now. So the deadline for the next round of matches is 11am UK time on Saturday 30th March. Plenty of time to over-think and let the paranoia set in!

Wow, it’s hard for me to imagine doing anything meaningful in terms of systems and data analysis just with pen and paper. I guess you could create the ratings, it would be just a lot more hard work. But it would be impossible to do any meaningful analysis or manipulation. I’d say I’m obviously ahead of you in that I make good use of spreadsheets day in day out but I’m behind the other two in terms of databases and importing data. I think it would be worthwhile you getting to grips with entry level spreadsheets. Anyone can type in words and numbers to start with, it’s as easy as writing them down. Doing the basic sums with your numbers is easy enough too and then being able to sort the data by various criteria. Put it this way, anything you can feasibly do with a pen and paper isn’t going to take much learning. It’s also fairly easy to go beyond what you can do with pen and paper. Even if you don’t go beyond that stage you’ll have sped up the process and extended the scope of what you can do. Think of it this way, you can learn how to build and repair a car or you can just learn to drive one. If you simply learnt how to be a passenger spreadsheet wise you’d reap a huge benefit in terms of time and effort.

  36. I notice people forecasting a 5 day festival, I can't see this happening to be honest all my data bases suggest the Race horse population is on a rapid decline Jumps and flat, unless this is reversed there will be no extended festivals in the future even the Irish horse population is on the decline. On top of that don't underestimate the "anti's" they have been quite successful with Greyhound racing and they wont stop there, as we have seen and will see again this year at the GN they are fanatics.

  38. Not a lot there in the Cup, for me. Ill Dutch a few of the games on the day when they finally release the odds and when matchday squads are released. I have a feeling Wigan may rest one or two of the big hitters for Sheffield but most will play. From a Saints perspective, there’s been a persistent rumour this week that Lewis Dodd is injured, despite being named in the twenty-one man squad. If the rumours are true, Saints will be without Mark Percival, Tommy Makinson and Lewis Dodd, three of their usual backline, though Curtis Sironen is back in the pack this week. I said that they would win one of two of these games against Leeds, so I’m not confident for tomorrow night. As for the NRL, it’s so tough. There’s a lot of close games there. I certainly wouldn’t rule out Melbourne either.

The funny thing is i had to teach myself how to use data bases and how to write formulae to produce/automate the inputs so the incentive was there and it was quite enjoyable which always helps even though the cat got kicked (figuratively speaking) a good few times before i mastered it to the level i needed.

  42. Fascinating read from some 'wise owls' so far, who love the sport of Racing 🐎......as 'we' do with both National Hunt and our 1st love of the Flat...... The Cheltenham views, well i would agree with @calva decoy...... it will happen going to 5 days in this new commercial racing industry, so its a 'when' and not an 'if'............we used to go, but the total cost now re travel / tickets / hotels / food / drinks etc have made it prohibitive.....well for us anyway.......hence our 1st love of the Flat. we are in the triangle of Ascot / Goodwood / Epsom, so makes it very viable for us to go to the meetings!...... also yes as we have our 'friends' ( contact) in Newmarket, so again have a place to stay when going to HQ meetings which makes it viable. We have noticed the last few years that our 3 racecourses and when we go to Newmarket, that they are all pushing the 'racing experience' big time to attract a wide range of new customers.....young people / families as well as holding on to regular race goers like 'us', who do occasionally enjoy the 'whole experience' of the racing / drinks / meal and meeting friends old and new.......of course the other plus of 'live racing' is can 'get on' on course with some nice bets once have some information and not 'limited' online and withdraw too much in case of getting closed down, as looks like we going to lose 1 account having taken out 2k recently and are now 'restricted!

    SPEED RATINGS

I will put this one out there before the flat gets going and it might interest @MCLARKE and anyone else that is thinking of Speed Rating races. Unless you are prepared to put in over 30 hours per week you will never cover all the races so you need to pick your pool of horses carefully. So i will suggest a pool of horses that will serve you well all year round and be more efficient after the first year which will give you time to experiment and that is 2yo races on the all weather. If you do the figures for these races you will need to bear in mind a few things.. 1. The type of all weather surface, Tapeta (Newcastle, Southwell, Wolves) the others inc Dundalk are all Polytrack. 2. Don't be in a hurry, collect the data and use it to small stakes or save it until you have a substantial database. Minimum of 9 months to a year. 3. Don't get too bogged down with draw bias the better AW Jockeys/trainers can overcome it. 4. Identify the better AW jockeys/trainers (that consistently overcome the draw, it is good information. 5. keep the data updated daily (don't put it of until weekend etc) 6. understand the difference between wet and dry sand (think of a beach) 7. check the results and the race comments of every race against your data. 8. bear in mind you only need to rate a race down to 6 and often 3 places at the most, this is because the figures below 5th or 6th are of very little use.

  47. Love the flat ...lot less variables to cope with ....finished last season +740.00 PTS so that's the target to beat ..... Lincoln hcap scan Johan. 9.0 14/1 Dutch decoy. 8.9 25/1 Blues emperor 8.8 20/1 Raadabarg. 8.4 Awwaal. 8.4 Love the Lincoln ....first big puzzle of the season .....interesting race result ...this race tends to go to young horses but both top two are 7+ ..... Interesting that Johan is top rated ....he doesn't race much now ....maybe two or three times a season but when conditions are right (8f soft )he's still a force to be reckoned with ...he will get that saturday so excellent value in 14/1(I'll probably go 10pt Ew once I'm sure running ) and 5pt Ew Dutch and blues .....but of fun to start the season off 🎉
