Bellingham to score anytime at 5.00 with Unibet @harry_rag I tag along2 points
-
Salah and Bellingham both to have a SoT at 3/1 Uni and a gut play on the latter to score at 6.4. Not a bad price and got a feeling he might be about to enter one of his purpler patches. Had small singles on Monaco, Celtic and Cardiff to win based on a quick take on the ELO ratings.2 points

Boro have scored 15 goals in the last 3 games and have probably the most exciting player in the league at the moment with their Liverpool loanee Ben Doak. I don't really rate Blackburn, they won away at Cardiff on the 9th Nov and have not played since, so could be nice and fresh or a little rusty? Either way Boro should have too much for them. hi Brigadier wondered if you formed an early opinion about next saturday's coral cup chase at newbury 🙂 i've gone in early on "Remastered" @ 40's "be lucky"2 points -
It is very difficult to get a L15 up. With the right range of odds and staking, a treble would clear your deficit but not to those stakes you are playing with. IMHO you are staking wrong if your intention is to recover those loses. Balance that with just the "amusement value" and your argument is indeed valid the results not so valid. Your argument although valid will produce a loss next year just as it has done this year if keep to your current strategy. I have not had 1 L15 up this year but i have had some decent trebles and i haven't lost money. My last 4 "treble winning" L15 are quite interesting in that the shortest price let me down on all four, 3 of which were less than 4/1 the other being 9/2.2 points

Hawkins was sooo lucky to beat Gilbert , Gilbert in the last 2 frames could have closed it 4 or 5 times but just made stupid mistakes , betting against Hawkins in his next game1 point -
Liverpool and both teams to score at 3.40 and all of Villa, Liverpool and Leeds to win at 8.00 with MGM look like decent enough bets to me. Liverpool are in terrific form but it's not hard to see Real getting on the scoresheet at least, whilst Villa and Leeds are usually solid at home with Villa beating Bayern recently and Leeds towards the top of the Championship.1 point

SPEED RATINGS
justanotherpunter reacted to MCLARKE for a topic
I have now analysed 7 years of data and the results are generally positive. The top rated horse was Jonbon in last years Tingle Creek Chase. Jonbon currently has the highest BHA rating. The optimum return was for the next 4 runs. The top 27% achieved an AE of 1.011. The returns were not as linear as I would have preferred with the top 1% having a return of 0.999, 2% 0.989, 5% 1.001, 10% 0.991, 20% 1.005 and 50% 0.998. Interestingly those horses that did not complete had an AE of 1.028. I think this was an area that @LEE-GRAYS looked at once, perhaps it is worth revisiting. A lot more analysis for me to do but hopefully the seeds of a profitable system have been sown !1 point -
Darja Semenistaja to beat (-1.5 sets) Emiliana Arango at 2.20 with Unibet I'll have some of this1 point
-
Alright, then I'll have to throw a punch at this then with something of a feeling that Darja will win by some bigger margin. All Arango can do is to defend, she's not the type used to hitting winners or even going for winners. I rate Darja as more explosive and bigger hitting player which should be enough for Arango to succumb to a pretty big defeat as is the case most of the times when she's playing higher ranked players.1 point

Not too good again today but only 2 quid down1 point -
Yeah. Long losing runs are bad enough in the normal course of things. Somehow it's worse when you know that someone else is backing most of the same selections but doing much better than you because of the bets that differ. It's like having a direct line to Jim Bowen! (Look what you could have won.) Anyway, I've had my vent so it's head down and plough through it. The end of month analysis will be grim but interesting reading when we compare notes.1 point
-
I've had runs like that before so I know what you mean. I ran a thread on here for a while that went on a ridiculous run of losers and that was just focussing on favourites - it's unavoidable unfortunately. In the end though it corrected itself but there were times where as you say you question the process.1 point

To be honest it's more of a collaboration than a competition but I've needed a moan about my luck this month, it's been brutal. I reckon I'm on track for one of my worst months on record (anytime wise) while he might actually finish just in front. Every time I have a night off the winners come flowing in, every time he does he avoids a terrible night. All the "365 jobs" that I can't get on seem to be flying in. We're both monitoring the notion of the "price chasing" exchange bets being loss making but I've got a feeling they've bucked the trend this month which looks to have cost me. I know that long term you get the results that you deserve but this month has been one of those that ends up testing your faith in the basic laws of probability! Basically he's been a jammy git this month while I must have trod on a black cat or something without realising it!1 point

Well done Dan And a 1st and 2nd so far for Leo puts him at the top of the league after 2 legs. Remember we are playing best of 4 from 6 over November and December now so plenty of time to catch him Tonight's game is as originally set up so a 5000 chip NLHE starting at 8.10pm. It shows as leg 4 but is in fact our leg 3. I've set up the remaining games now too1 point

From the David Pipe racing club site..... It could be a busy day for the team on Saturday, with entries at four meetings around the country. We have confirmed both Remastered and Neon Moon for the Coral Gold Cup handicap chase at Newbury on Saturday. The weights were raised nine pounds on Monday morning following the confirmation stage and there are now just a maximum of 16 to line up. I see Neon Moon is best priced 16/1 and Remastered, 40/1 which I think is a little overpriced. The latter is an intended runner and he has run well in this race previously, finishing runner-up in 2022 off a mark of 142. He runs off 145 this time around and I do not think he would have been far away when falling in the Badge Ales chase at Wincanton last time. He has recovered well after initial physio, has jumped nicely and he is back in rude health at home – he does not act his age! Neon Moon’s participation is likely to be decided by the weather. Should the track get the 20-30mm of rain forecast mid-week and the ground turn soft to heavy then we are more likely to head to Newcastle for the Rehearsal chase where the ground is good.1 point -
