Liverpool to qualify looks massive value to me, the team is just flying now. They are at 2.8ish to do it so that'll be my main bet for the quarterfinals. They beat city 4-3 early this year and i think the team has improved since then, now they have van dijk, salah is messi now, lovren looks like a decent centre back now. I'll wait the international matches to finish to bet on them (in case salah gets injured) but all in all 2.8ish is a generous price to me, also aguero is injured , he's supposed to be fit for this match but he'll lack some playing time IMO. Liverpool DNB for the first leg looks a decent bet as well.

3 units on Liverpool to qualify at 2.85

In this showdown everything is open, since there is no clear favorite to qualify, I expect today an open goal match on both sides due to the extraordinary attacks of the two teams
JUVENTUS TURIN vs REAL MADRID @@ Both team to score, odds 1.80

Sevilla is not in a match, Bayern, on the other hand, is a very experienced and qualitative team and may take the lead in qualifying

Sevilla vs Bayern Munich

The Champions League Quarter-Finals kick off tonight and even though a lot of the attention will focus on a re-match between last year's two finalists of Juventus versus Real Madrid, I'm going to shine a light on the undercard of Sevilla versus Bayern Munich for this preview.

Sevillla have surprised me that they have reached this stage of the competition. As I have said repeatedly, Vincenzo Montella does not convince me as a manager. Their La Liga form has been inconsistent at best since he arrived. However, it seems he's done enough to get them to this stage of the Champions League and to the Copa del Rey Final. So he clearly knows how to handle a cup competition.

The 2-1 aggregate win over Manchester United in the previous round was a result I didn't see coming. I don't think I'm the only one. Montella will definitely be thanking Wissam Ben Yedder for his brace that made that happen at Old Trafford. Unfortunately, Los Rojiblancos haven't won in three league matches. However, those games did include ties against Valencia and Barcelona.

Bayern Munich are enjoying yet another positive season under Jupp Heynckes. He is their third manager this season but under his guidance he has led them to a 17 point lead at the top of the Bundesliga, the Quarter-Finals of the Champions League, and the Semi-Finals of the DFB-Pokal. It's easy to forget that Heynckes lifted the Champions League trophy with Bayern as recently as 2013. So this is familiar territory.

Backing both teams to score seems a logical option here. Sevilla might have kept a clean sheet against a mis-firing Manchester United at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in the previous round but Bayern Munich offer a whole next level of threat. Sevilla have managed to score in 9 of their past 11 home matches. Bayern Munich have also managed to score in every single away match since the 3-0 away defeat to PSG back on 27th September. That was before Heynckes took over I should add.

Juventus vs Real Madrid
2018, April 03, 20:45 hrs (CET Time)
Champions League - Quarter Finals

Juventus
Arrived as leader of Serie A, with 25 games won, 3 draws and only 2 defeats , and last round of CL the team eliminated a Tottenham side that yield two high scoring matches. The team has 25 matches without defeat.
Considering just European Competition, the team has 27-game unbeaten run at home, with its last defeat at home in April 2013 against Bayerns Munich, with 14 games with a clean sheet.
With Dybala and Higuain the team has the offensive power guaranteed to go against anyside. For this match their backline, which has only 16 goals allowed in 25 matches in Serie A will be missing Mehdi Benatia, suspended, and the midfield will miss Pjanic, suspended, and Bernadeshi, injured.

Real Madrid
With La Liga almost decided to Barcelona, and eliminated from Copa del Rey, Real Madrid has focus on this edition of Champions League, together with securing qualification to next edition.
In the previous round, the team played two high-octane matches against PSG, where the team claimed both victory in both matches, still concede goals in both, the team has been rather irregular as they have some matches this season where they have deliver a very poor performance.
Still the team have the offensive power with phenomenal Cristiano Ronaldo, backed up by Benzema, despite not scoring as much as other seasons, does a great job generating scoring chances and proving options at the front. Fundamental, the middlefield class, with Kross and Modric, and in case Zidane provides chance to Isco to shine, the scoring chances, despite the close the match can be are guaranteed.

Match
A close match is expected with tight defending, still scoring chances for both teams as both have superb players.

Prediction
For this match, I would favor Real Madrid, as the last matches have showed good improvement, stil Juventus at home is a force to be reckon, and even this is Real Madrid fetish competition, I would better focus on the Both Teams To Score market, where I sense both where be able to score still a medium stake here.

@StevieDay1983, Interesting analysis and altought I like the BTTS in that match as Bayern Munich packs a lot of potential for scoring, I have my doubts about the Sevilla power, is true they just come from a 2-2 draw against Barcelona, which speaks they can score, but that high-octane match should have worn the team at some level, therefore against a rested defense is yet to see how they fare.

Sevilla at this level of Champions League has yet its history to write and considering how they did on Europa League recently, I believe that with their performance against Manchester United provide them with a good basis, and at home would be crucial not to allowed a goal considering away goal advantage, therefore I agree with your AH pick. Good luck!

Juventus v Real Madrid; 20:45

The first match of one of most interesting duels in this part of the competition will be played at Allianz Stadium in Torino and I think that Juventus cannot afford to lose at home. Goin on Santiago Bernabeu with negative would minimize their chances. With Pjanić and Benatia suspended, will probably see Chiellini and Barzagli as a center back duo, while De Sciglio and Alex Sandro should cover fullback positions. With Khedira and Matuidi in center of midfield, they will have big defensive support and I see Real Madrid hardly finding spaces between the lines today. With offered odds, I see value on Juventus +0,25 with odds around 1,90. I think that bookies are underestimating the home pitch advantage here. I agree that match can easily go both ways, but once again, I cannot see Italians losing this match and +0,25 is bringing us half profit in case of the draw. Zidane rested some players over the weekend. It will be interesting to see if Bale "bought" his place in starting eleven with the good performance against Las Palmas or not. We will for sure see Cristiano Ronaldo back, but the questions are positions of Benzema and the 3rd forward or attacking midfielder. Benzema, Bale, Isco, Asensio, Vazquez,... three of those five will stay on the bench. In any case, Real will have a strong lineup, but even though they are in series of wins, I'm still not convinced in their performances. In my opinion, with a bit of luck, the first match in Paris could turn up totally differently. Will Real have this "sportive luck" once again, or it will go on another side this time?

Despite having Real Madrid scored since minute 3, Juventus was unable to score, a disastrous match for the Vecchia Segnoria, and they still have 90 minutes to go in Santiago Bernabéu, that is molto longo.

There will be a tough fight without a clear and big favorite, without having made the first match, the two teams score at will, they have excellent attacks and can be an open game with many goals
LIVERPOOL FC vs MANCHESTER CITY @@ +2.50 Over, odds 1.60

Barcelona is the favorite to qualify, but it has to prove it on the pitch, the Roma will not take any risk, will defend it low to keep the defense in the net, Barcelona, on the other hand it is not in full form and has some issues, I will go with the few goals
FC BARCELONA vs AS ROMA @@ +3.50 Under, odds 1.67

Liverpool vs Manchester City

The Champions League Quarter-Final matches continue tonight after last night produced some exhilarating football. This all-English tie is the pick of the games and it's certainly one that I think is worth previewing because it might produce a bit of an upset based on previous encounters.

It's been a mixed bag for these teams in their two previous meetings this season. In their first match-up back on 9th September, City won 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium. However, when the two teams faced each other at Anfield on 14th January of this year it was the Reds who prevailed with a stunning 4-3 win. That was the only league defeat City have suffered this season and just the fourth loss they have suffered in all competitions.

One thing I am expecting tonight is goals. The match is being hyped up as Jurgen Klopp versus Pep Guardiola and Mo Salah versus Kevin De Bruyne. There is so much more to this game. Sergio Aguero being absent is a big blow for City but he is simply replaced by Gabriel Jesus. Their strength in depth is unbelievable.

There is no denying that this City side is one of the potentially most talented European sides of all time. They still have a lot to prove. I'm still not sure they have enough nous to win the Champions League this season. I'm not even convinced they can win tonight. Liverpool, Wigan, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Basel have all proved that City can be intimidated on the road.

I fully expect this game to match the excitement levels expected. Both sides will feel they can win this game. I'm not brave enough to call an outright winner but I seriously think Liverpool cannot be ruled out. Not many things match the atmosphere under the floodlights at Anfield on a European night. The scene is set for Liverpool to actually take something from this game.

I don't see a reason for me to write another wall of text, both teams we know, both teams average 3.5 goals per match, h2h looks goal heavy and venue is Anfield. I see no reason why i shouldn't try to bet over 3 goals @2.05 Bet365. Two best offences in EPL, Matip injured which is blow to Red's already shaky defense. Hopefully Liverpool wins this at home, i'm biased ofc being Reds supporter.

Here's a fun builderbet:

Over 3.5 Goals in the Match
Fernando Gabriel Jesus to Score Anytime in the Match
Mohamed Salah to Score Anytime in the Match
Over 10 Corners in the Match
Match result will be Liverpool
Over 2.5 Cards in the Match for Man City
€25.00 Bet Builder @ 81.00

Could play out, Felix likes cards, averages 4,5 cards per match. Rest i won't try and justify, it's just a fun less than a unit bet ;)
