Nikoloz Basilashvili to beat Hugo Dellien at 2.00 with William Hill
While I do understand the reasons for Basilashvili being the underdog in this one, I don't really agree with them. Basilashvili is still the classier player of the two and he's the defending champion, so I think that he's going to be prepared for the event after taking a break after Wimbledon. Dellien is having an excellent season in terms of win and losses, but most of his successes came on the lower level and he's had some weak performances recently, so I'd have Nikoloz as the favorite here and I'm quite surprised that we're getting evens for him.

Please try to post the bookies you're taking the picks with @Anaxagoras!
Martin Klizan to beat Daniel Altmaier at 1.53 with Pinnacle
A fairly premium price for Klizan and I think it's worth taking, as Hamburg has always been among his better events. He's a class above Altmaier if he puts some focus into his work and I think that he will, as he looked really disappointed after losing against Bagnis last time out.

    Opelka vs Bublik
Bublik was in Newport final against Isner today. He played 3 setters in 4/5 of the matches.
Now flying to Atlanta to meet Opelka in the 1st round match. I suppose he'd be tired, might throw this game.

Cori Gauff to beat Venus Wiliams at 4.30 with Betfair
This is the second time I back Cori to win and I know this girl got game. It's a huge game she has that can carry her a long way. Maybe to the top of the game beating even Serena Williams in number of Grand slam titles. If she's that good, she'll easily beat Venus today.

The third Grand Slam of the season is here and the one thing that I have to say straight away is that I would be shocked to see Nadal take it. He was pretty crap during the exhibitions, he's been handed a tough draw, and his health is always an issue during these short turnovers, so I think that he isn't going to lift the trophy. Not a big prediction, I know, but there you go. You know my form going into this tournament, but I was asked to write a preview and that's always a good motivation for some research, so yeah.
On the men's side of things, I find it really hard to see past either Djokovic or Federer, as it simply seems that the rest of the competition has fallen away in recent times and that there aren't any serious challengers. Someone with a big serve and good hitting can take them out, of course, that's just the nature of grass courts, but I don't know who's it gonna be and I don't really have all that much to add in terms of outrights. Betting-wise, I'm going to back Wawrinka to go further than Isner, as they have fairly similar draws in terms of difficulty and as Isner has been out of the game for so long that he's way more likely to suffer an upset somewhere along the way.
The women's side of things is completely open despite the obvious dominance of Ashleigh Barty. The pressure is going to be heavier than ever before, however, so I'm not too keen on backing her at what really are short odds for such a long tournament in which anything can happen. The only thing that I'm taking is Halep to go further than Konta, I just don't trust the latter at all at the moment. I will be watching things closely and I might play something mid-tournament, but I just don't see anything straight away. And yeah - don't back Kvitova, she might not even turn up for health reasons (there should be a press conference about that tomorrow as far as I know).
In terms of match betting, I am going for way too much and I'm actually surprised that things have turned out that way, as I didn't really see all that much when I first got around to check the early odds. Hoping for a good run, but my confidence is obviously quite low at the moment and I guess that I would just sigh if all the below lose.
First, I'm backing Rebecca Peterson to beat Yanina Wickmayer, as I think that she's a level above her quality-wise. The good qualifying run Wickmayer had doesn't change a thing considering the level of players she faced there and I think that she simply isn't good enough to compete on the main level anymore. Something similar can then be said about CSN, who'll be facing the resurgent Stosur that was surprisingly good in recent days.
Eugenie Bouchard is spending way too much time modeling these days and her two recent matches were truly awful, so I'm taking the much-more-hard-working Zidansek there. Only a big trip down the memory lane can win this for Bouchard and that isn't all that likely to happen (although it can't be ruled out completely). Martic, Alexandrova, and Hercog are then my form picks over Brady, Siniakova, and Kuzmova.
In the men's section, I like both Garin and Schwartzman despite their obvious clay court preferences. They are both facing out-of-form opponents that have very little to offer by the looks of things nowadays. Fritz should also be able to deal with Berdych, who has been out of the game for quite some time and who didn't impress during the exhibitions, while Sonego should beat Granollers as well if he recovers from Antalya, which he honestly should with at least a day off. Finally, I'm also going for one long odds on Klizan against Chardy, as I don't think that he deserves to be a 4.00 shot in a match that could be easily decided by who's going to be missing less on the day.
Good luck everyone - and take care!
Back Stanislas Wawrinka (vs. Isner) at 1.72 with Bet365
Back Simona Halep (vs. Konta) at 1.72 with Bet365

Smith providing a repeat of Ward ffs, laughable really. Following on Kecmanovic to beat Troicki at 1.91 with William Hill, hopefully I don't curse that as well. Kecmanovic was good today, Troicki just did what he had to do to beat the out-of-sorts Paire. Into a solid minus for the year now, but I suppose you can't win them all and the previous season was well above average as well. Still hoping to get back on track as well obviously though.

Miomir Kecmanovic to beat (-1.5 sets) Victor Troicki at 3.00 with Betfair
After seeing Miomir playing today I can easily say this serbian clash will be won by Miomir in two. There's a gulf in class between these two players right now. The second serve is where Victor loses many points by doing lots of errors while Miomir is better on his second serve and it should show in this match.

Sam Stosur vs. Magda Linette (Eastbourne qualifications), [email protected] Pinnacle.
Magda has an almost perfect run on grass surface this year, 7:1, but I think that Aussies power-strokes would be too much for the Polish girl. Sam has already beaten Iga quite comfortably yesterday and has a positive h2h score with Magda (2:0 Wimbledon 2016).

Hello my friends, this is my very first post here, but I've been follow this forum for a long time..
Well, today was a very nice day for betting, I thought is the more profitable day since a long time...
Starting with the fact that the grass season is here!, and all matches are more even.
For example... today where a lot of very profitable bets like Mannarino wins a set against Verdasco, or Jarry +4.5 handicap against Tsitsipas, or Kudla +4.5 handicap against Monfils... well, a lot of oportunities...
But, I thought the most clear bet today is: Felix Auger to beat Gilles Simon at 1.5 with Bet365... don't miss the chance to see that match, we have value here...

Katerina Siniakova (-3.5) to beat Mandy Minella at 1.82 with Pinnacle
This looks like a match that Siniakova should finally be able to win and win well at that. Her form might not be as good as Minella's, but she's been competing against tougher opponents and this is a decent step down from the likes of Kasatkina, Bertens, or Strycova. Siniakova reached the SFs here last time out and I wouldn't be surprised by a repeat of that.

    Rangers v Hibs.
After Celtic winning the league yesterday, the atmosphere at Ibrox today could be a little flat and may affect the Rangers players. Hibs have a very good record at Ibrox in recent years, winning there a few times, we're also unbeaten by Rangers this season. The odds on the away win here are ridiculous and simply have to be backed, Hibs need a win to keep their faint European hopes alive so will be going for the win, could be a high scoring game this. I've had a small stake on Hibs to win at 8.50 but a much larger stake on
    Hibs +1 @ 2.90. Value, Value, Value.

    G. Granollers/M. Lopez @1.581 Pinnacle 10/10
Both Andreozzi and Dellien will play qualifying in Madrid on Saturday. It's an 1000 Masters event in Madrid so i doubt they gonna prioritise a doubles match here. Furthermore, Granollers/Lopez looking like a decent team to compete anyway.

So we finally reach the last day of the regular season. It was nice to get a profit on Monday with Weston, Dover and Dorking all landing at big odds. This season has been very up and down although still be a decent enough season. The ante-post stuff will show a nice profit and we are basically waiting on who wins the Evo-Stik Southern Premier as Weymouth and Taunton were both covered. I really need it to be Weymouth to help land a lumpy mid-season acca I put on (although Farsley aren't home and hosed yet either), but at least I have Taunton covered. Hopefully it can be a profitable end of the season on the match betting front where I have some big prices again.
    AFC Fylde v Halifax
It doesn't really matter if Fylde come 4th or 5th and I reckon they might rest a few players in this match with the play-off matches coming thick and fast next week. They are guaranteed a home tie in the first round of matches and will be away in the next tie if they get through anyway so with that in mind Halifax are worth a bet here at 11/2. They beat Wrexham 2-1 on Easter Monday who are the team in 5th at the moment so there is no reason why they can't repeat the same sort of performance here.
    Boreham Wood v Eastleigh
The home side gave it a good go at Chesterfield for us on Monday, but ended up going down 3-2 after having a man sent off. Eastleigh made sure of their play-off spot by beating Maidenhead and like Fylde it doesn't really matter if they finish 6th or 7th because they will be away in both the possible games anyway and I can imagine that they will rest key players. This gives Wood a chance especially as they have performed well in recent weeks so are worth backing at just over 2/1.
    Bromley v Ebbsfleet
God knows what is happening behind the scenes at Ebbsfleet, but the players still haven't been paid and it is hard to see how they are going to be overly motivated to put in a performance here for a club that is in a right mess off the pitch. The loss to Dover on Monday meant they can no longer finish in the play-offs so there really is nothing to play for and they were poor in that game as it was. Bromley have drawn 3 of their last 4 so still seem to be trying and they beat Leyton Orient 5 games ago. They should be favs for this and 7/4 looks a huge price.
    Hartlepool v Salford
Taking a bit of a chance here, but I am backing the home side. I just wonder if Salford will decide to concentrate on the play-offs given they are highly unlikely to catch Leyton Orient. If Orient go in front early on then Salford will know their number is really up and they wont want to be risking injuries ahead of the play-offs. Hartlepool aren't exactly ending the season in great form but they did beat Halifax on Good Friday. Team news could be key, but it might just pay to be ahead of the game here and have a small investment at a big price in the hope Salford have one eye on the play-offs.
    Curzon Ashton v Spennymoor
Not that long ago Spennymoor were in poor form, but they have won 4 of their last 5 games and are setting themselves up nicely for the play-offs. They got a huge win against at the time league leaders Chorley on Easter Monday and they will be trying here as if they can overtake Brackley then they will have one less game in the play-offs. As I have mentioned a few times of late Curzon have stopped for the season based on their performances and odds against on the away side picking up another win is a big price.
    Eastbourne v Concord
I really don't get the price of Concord here. I think the bookies are basing it on the fact they are basically certain of a play-off spot, but what they have missed is the fact that they can finish 4th or 5th and that would mean a home tie in the first round of the play-offs. Given how strong they have been at home this season that would be huge if they could overtake Bath and or Chelmsford. God knows where Eastbourne's 6-0 drubbing of Dartford came from given it had been a very long time since they last won prior to that. They then drew with Slough 1-1 on Monday which was a decent effort as well. They are safe now though and with Concord still having something to play for they just should be 9/2.
    Woking v Gloucester City
I suspect if Gloucester had not come from 2 down to beat Chippenham 3-2 on Monday then Gloucester would not have been such a big price for this because they still would have been fighting for their survival. Fortunately for me and my fellow City supporters we are now safe for another season, but I think we can go out on a win. Our away form has been much stronger than our home form this term, but the key point is that Woking have nothing to play for. They can only finish 2nd now and I really can't believe that they won't be resting players ahead of the play-offs. Why would Alan Dowson risk his key players in a meaningless game a few days ahead of trying to win promotion? 21/5 looks a big price on an away win to me.

Teodore reacted to Darran in Non-League Predictions > Easter Monday
I am hoping we are going to see a few big priced winners on Easter Monday as I have some monster prices among the 9 teams I am putting up.
    Aldershot v Havant
Two relegated teams and both have only won one of their last 10 games, but Havant were able to go 3 up against Ebbsfleet on Friday and they aren't a bad side. As Lee Bradbury said after they were relegated they were very competitive in all bar 2 of their games this season and that is backed up by how many they have lost by a single goal. This is a Hampshire derby and I am sure they would love to get one over an Aldershot side who have had a terrible season. Havant just shouldn't be as big as 3/1 to win this.
    Chesterfield v Boreham Wood
Chesterfield were poor on Friday against Gateshead and sadly for us seemed the players seemed to have their minds on the beach which surprised me. Whilst they were losing Boreham Wood gave Salford a massive scare coming from 2 down to level it at 2 all before conceding a winner late on. That effort might leave a mark, but given Chesterfield went through the motions on Saturday, if Wood can back that effort up then they have a chance here. At 18/5 they are well worth taking a risk with.
    Eastleigh v Maidenhead
Eastleigh are doing their best to blow their play-off spot having lost 4 out of their last 6 games. Losing 2-0 at Dagenham on Friday was another poor effort and although Maidenhead couldn't quite recover from a poor first half against Barrow on Saturday they did get a point. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they won this this and at 19/5 they are worth backing.
    Ebbsfleet V Dover
Ebbsfleet are the closest side to Eastleigh in 8th yet they have hit the buffers a little in the last couple of weeks. As mentioned above they got away with coming from 3 down on Friday to get a point. Prior to that they lost to Dagenham and before that it was a point at Gateshead. Dover are unbeaten in their last 7 now and in the last 10 form table only the 3 title contenders are above them. They might have nothing to play for, but they would love to get one over their Kent rivals and at 5/1 they look overpriced.
    Harrogate v Gateshead
I'm slightly surprised to be putting up Gateshead, but although it was only a penalty that defeated Chesterfield they more than deserved the win. It showed they still have a bit of fight in them and Harrogate aren't exactly doing great things at the moment with their only win in 7 was against Havant. Given they have to chase down Eastleigh Gateshead have suddenly given themselves a chance of the play-offs again and although the early 5s has gone the 4s is still decent value.
    Guiseley v Darlington
Darlington have hit form as they win against Bradford Park Avenue on Friday was the first time they have won 3 on the bounce all season. The only time Guiseley have won in their last 10 was when I opposed them against Curzon, but that was the start of Curzon's downturn in form so it doesn't say much. I don't think the away side should be over 2/1 to win this and they are well worth a bet.
    Bath City v Oxford City
The home side looked good for the play-offs 6 games ago, but they then haven't won in 6. To be fair they have picked up 4 draws in that spell, but they only drew 0-0 against relegation threatened Hungerford on Friday. Oxford lost to Slough, but they are flying at the moment and it was 2 late goals which defeated them 3-1. They have won 4 of their last 6 and winning at Concord in their previous game is decent form. I just don't see how on earth they can be priced up at 9/1 to win this and although a draw is a concern they are simply too big not to back.
    Hemel Hempstead v Weston-Super-Mare
Granted Weston weren't great when I put them up on Saturday, but Hemel have looked really poor of late and now Weston have finally been relegated it wouldn't surprise me if they went and won this now they have the pressure off. Weston have picked up 1 more point than Hemel in their last 10 games and it is just crazy why the bookies have stuck the away side in at 7/1 in what is a pretty even game for me.
    Leatherhead v Dorking
One bet at step 3 and it is for the Bostik Premier Champions Dorking. Dorking haven't let up since they won the league winning every game since and they have lost just once in their last 20 games, a run which started against Leatherhead. They have already beaten 3 teams still in the play-off hunt in their last 3 games so to beat another one here wouldn't surprise at all. Leatherhead are 2 points off the play-offs although they are only 9th. They lost their 1st game in 7 at the weekend so they had been in good form, but Dorking have picked up 87 points, Haringey in 2nd are on 71 and Leatherhead are on 62. That's how much better than the rest they have been so to be able to back them at over 2/1 just because their hosts need a win looks worth taking advantage of.
