  1. Maybe its better to skip the WTA-Nottingham-Event this weak. Most of the players are here to get in shape for grass and the change of surface to Indoor-Hard cant be good for the motivation of some players. It doesnt make sense to me to play the women here. There are tournaments in the netherlands and germany and we got interesting challenger in kazakhstan as well. I will focus on them...
  2. Your posting is a joke and i hope you will be banned from this forum for being such an idiot.
  3. Mikael is a better matchup than Millman. He is more aggressive and less perserving i think. He doesnt have much experience in 5setters. Millman played well cause of the long rallyes. We wont see many of them today because both players will get on the early point and Sascha has the weapons in serve and backhand to win the most of it
  4. Zverev was searching for some match practice before he have to defend his points in rome, madrid and paris. Thats why he asked for a WC in marrakesh. In the Munar-match his forehand was pretty bad and it looked like he did not know how to use it against munar. i think for zverev its a though one against F2A and its hard to find a bet pre-game. Felix played well against londero but this guy cant be compared to the german. felix made too much mistakes and his second serve was pretty useless. if zverev finds his forehand and serves well he will be the clear favourite here.
  5. Last week Verdasco played horrible against Menendez-Maceiras. Many UEs, weak serve after the early games in first set and he got a bad body language. Maybe he will be more motivated in MC because its a bigger tournament with more points and money...he lead 3-0 against Herbert and he stil got a chance here. Maybe its an over game, but who realy knows...
  6. i agree...he's a talented player with big wins as junior. he's good from the groundstroke and his forehand can be a weapon. it was great to see how he was running for any ball against djere, but today its completly different kind of game. he will get in trouble with his returns especially against good servers like raonic and it will be hard enough to hold his serve but it will be harder to get any break points here.
  7. If Raonic serves normally and not like yesterday i dont bet any cent on the return of kecmanovic. i think his return is too weak to win against guys like raonic. for example giron. another good server, he lost against him in the quali. or torpegaard in cleveland. raonic in brisbane. he did not even got one break point in the whole match. ok, the surface is faster than in IW. and you maybe you are right, raonic is not in best shape because his first serve stats could be better (1stIn: struff: 54.1 % querrey 46.8%). but i just can not imgagine that kecmanovic got any chance here.
  8. Osaka, Kvitova, Sabalenka, Halep, Svitolina...I think today Mrs. Bencic will eat the next Top10 player this year. She is on fire and if she's is not overplayed or tired she will win against Pliskova, who dropped a set against Doi and Kontaveit. The Czech played a pretty good season and got good record in IW as well. Raonic will destroy Kecmanovic today and the other two matches pretty 50/50.
  9. Why are so many people here on Struff? He's not a player to trust. Often he lost a match, after big wins. The match against Berankis was ok but not special and zverev had a cold so he wasnt at 100%. Struff lost in Rotterdam quali against a guy named Ryan Nijboer, actually 507 ranked. and that was only three weeks ago... Raonic has a pretty good record at IW and reached final once and semifinal twice. Yeah, it was close against Giron but the season tof the american ill now is remarkable and he is in good shape.
  10. Mayer played very well against Opelka, who got a bad day for first serve. Players like Opelka needs her serve to win those matches. Reilly cant win matches with just 62% of first serves in and just 48% second serves won. conditions like slow court and strong wind can be good for Mayer but Monfils is on fire. Maybe a Games-HC on Mayer is good here.
  11. Nice one. but it was closer than it should have been in second set because crespatte lost his drive. i cashed out in the ninth game because frenchman played complicated balls without success (like the stop on 30-15 or 30-00 maybe - same he played as winner on the line in tiebreak by 3-3) and looked annoyed after that.
  12. Odds on Bublik are too small, so i won't play him this time. But he's in a good shape at the moment. He won Budapest a few weeks ago and his balance sheet on finals (challengers & futures) is impressing: 8-1 matches and 17-2 sets. His second serve in Darcis-Match was a catastophic one. Bublik quite solid in his serve so it would be a surprise if gombos wins this tournament.
  13. alison is defending champion in budapest an won her second title on carpet in quebec 2017. she played other finals on ihard and grass as well on 100k and 50k level. so her best surface is ihard for sure and not clay. i like swiatek too but i think odds are too low
