Espanyol vs Atletico Madrid
La Liga enters its final few rounds of action this week and even though there's a fair bit left to decide I'm going to focus on a game where it has both sides that realistically don't have a lot to play for. It's Espanyol versus Atletico Madrid in a 3:15pm kick-off this Saturday at the RCDE Stadium.
Espanyol are enjoying a satisfactory campaign with the club in 10th place. Three draws in a row in the league has seen them drop off the European qualification places but relegation was realistically ruled out a while ago. It's now six league games undefeated but Rubi's men will want to get back to winning ways to end the season on a high.
Atletico Madrid are now mathematically out of the title race after Barcelona's win last weekend but Diego Simeone will want to see his team finish the season as strongly as possible. Four wins in a row including three clean sheets has shown the Atletico of old are back.
The odds on an away win here are too good to ignore. I have a lot of confidence in the way Atletico are playing right now. They might not be as effective away as they are at home but I still feel the price being offered is a bargain. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a vintage 1-0 or 2-0 win for Atletico.

Sassuolo vs Frosinone
It might still be a few weeks until the Serie A season finishes but things are starting to wind down. In this week's preview, I take a look at this match between a mid-table Sassuolo and relegation strugglers Frosinone in a 2pm kick-off this Sunday at the Mapei Stadium - Citta del Tricolore.
Sassuolo have served us well over the years so I'm hoping for them more good news from them come Sunday evening. Roberto De Zerbi's men are 10th place and any hope of European qualification through the league or relegation to Serie B have firmly been non-existent for a number of games now. It's all about preparation for next season. An undefeated run of 5 league games suggests they're playing with freedom and are still a tough side to beat.
Frosinone are staring relegation to Serie B in the face. Marco Baroni came in mid-season but it doesn't appear he can save them. Three league defeats on the bounce have left them 10 points adrift with 4 league games left to play. Relegation should be confirmed within the next couple of games so how will that affect the players' morale?
I can't see past a home win. Sassuolo are playing with no pressure. Frosinone know that even if they win their chances of survival are very small. I'm actually going to go a step further than backing them to win and going for the handicap win. I'm afraid we could be waving goodbye to Frosinone in Serie A this week.

bournemouth are value at home. they may not look defensively solid but they make up for it in attack so i can see them scoring one or two goals. i think tottenham are reaching the end of the season in very tired and sluggish form. i just don't think after injuries and midweek champions league match they will be at their best.
i wonder if the premiership title race is going to be decided here when newcastle host liverpool. benitez always set out with five defenders at the back and when liverpool needs every ounce of energy to breakdown that kind of team it's tough and frustrating especially as they will have to give their maximum against barcelona on wednesday. i can see this match being 2-2 or 3-2 to newcastle.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Chelsea
The second Europa League Semi-Final first leg we're taking a look at is the match between Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt and Premier League club Chelsea in an 8pm kick-off at the Commerz-Bank Arena. The bookies are backing the visitors but is that misguided faith?
Eintracht Frankfurt will be a familiar outfit to those of you that have followed our Bundesliga tips this season. We've backed them a number of times and they've delivered the goods. Adi Hutter's side are in 4th place in the league and looking set to qualify for the Champions League. They are a team that has been written off a lot this season but keep producing the quality. An undefeated streak at home in this competition has been crucial in helping them reach this stage and just 1 loss in their last 8 home league games shows they are a tough side to beat on their own turf.
Chelsea are just clinging onto that top four spot in the Premier League as everyone in and around them seems really reluctant to qualify for the Champions League this season. Maurizio Sarri's side haven't won in three league games but they're doing just enough. 11 wins and 1 draw in this competition makes them the best performers of the teams left but this trip to Frankfurt is tougher than anything they've faced so far.
The big issue for Chelsea is their defence. Only David Luiz and Andreas Christensen are their available centre backs after the injuries to Gary Cahill and Antonio Rudiger. Sarri has likened Frankfurt to playing in a similar style to Slavia Prague and we know how the Blues struggled to get past the Czechia side. This could be the same over two legs. I'd back Frankfurt to get something in this game but Chelsea should be too strong over two legs.

i think i have pinned down what is going to happen in these games. i just think barcelona and tottenham are in a bit of a wobble so i see guests winning both games, that is liverpool winning 1-2 and ajax 1-2 which should make for an interesting second leg

Eintracht Frankfurt v Hertha Berlin; 15:30
Betting suggestion: Eintracht Frankfurt first half -0,5 @1,88 Pinnacle
Short preview: Eintracht is still one of the biggest surprises in Europe this season, holding the 4th position in Bundesliga and reaching semis of Europa League, recently beating Benfica with 2-0 and overcoming the 4-2 defeat in Lisbon. The away side is coming into this match with much more problems in the squad, as Grujic and Stark are suspended, Luckassen is doubtful, and some others are still on the injury list. Still, the great season can quickly turn into an “average” one, as Gladbach, Leverkusen, and Hoffenheim are all on 3 or fewer points difference. Therefore we can expect a huge battle between these clubs in the final run of Bundesliga. Hertha is on the 11th spot, 15 points above the relegation zone, so they can play without any pressure. Of course, in football that often brings pretty good performances, but there is a reason why is Frankfurt holding the Champions League spot right now. In matches like this, it usually happens that longer it stays 0-0, more nervous the match gets, and I expect Frankfurt once again making a difference already in the first half.

I´ve got many Bets for the Games in Bundesliga 1 tomorrow.... In my eyes it can be a great Day with nice Matches.
First i must say the Bundesliga 1 now on Finish Line and only 4 Games left, but nearly in every Game it give taken "more" then 3 Points.
Dortmund - Schalke
Big Derby here and nothing left to say here. Schalke are poor this Season. Changed Coach to Stevens few Weeks but nothing have Changed. Squad have some troubles with Harrit and Bentaleb - who are suspended 2nd Time in short Time from the Club. Also rumours now on First-GK Nuebel that Bayern Munich wants him. Maybe not so good for his Head at the Moment. Dortmund on other Side find slowley his Form and with Delaney and Witsel - they have 2 great Players who can fight and that´s can be very important for this Game. Also offensive is great this Season and Schalke Defensive are too Poor at the Moment.
Dortmund AHC-1.5 @ 1.94 5/10 bet365
Hannover - Mainz
Hannover last Weekend with 1 Point away against Hertha BSC Berlin who are also bad in Form at the Moment.
For Hannover it´s the last Chance to take the minimal Chance not to be relegated. Mainz on other side with better Form in last Weeks with 2 Wins in last 3 Games - but these Wins was at Home. Away they take 3 Loses in last 3 Games.Mainz are safe for next Season but think they will not play that offensive - because they know Hannover will figh here for there last Chance and also Mainz are not the best Away Team.
Most of the Games we are see not many Goals. If Hannover conced here a fast Goal from Mainz, i think my Bet will be lost... But can´t see here a fast Goal. Hannover will play saftey first and will see what´s the Day bring.
Under 3 Goals @ 2.02 3/10 bet365
Duesseldorf - Bremen
Duesseldorf safe for next Season and i think many Players will left the Club. Lukebakio for example the best Striker - is only on Loan. So in last Games we see many Goals in Duesseldorf Games and now with Bremen they meet a Club who didn´t can park the bus and need for himself a Win - if they want to play Europe next Season. There for they need Place 7 in League. So i see here Offensive Game with many Chances - i will be live in Stadium and think after terrible Out of Semi-Final in German Cup - it give Bremen little bit extra Motivation because whole Germany feeling with Bremen after out of Cup.
Both2Score - Yes+Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.80 5/10 bet365
Bremen @ 2.30 2/10 bet365
Leipzig - Freiburg
Freiburg will miss his best Striker Petersen by injury and now they will mess with full of Confidence Team of Leipzig. Rangnick - Coach of Leipzig said now in next weeks until the Cup Weekend - they must play on highest Level. And think the Team will did it. With a Win they are for sure in Champions League next Season and i think they want this - because after that they will also play against Munich and last Game against Bremen - where you not can expected to win.
So for me Leipzig will win this maybe easy, but not whith high Score. They will be little bit tiered after Cup Game in Midweek and Freiburg allways fight for his Life and running is good against this intensive Football from Leipzig.
Leipzig & Under 3.5 @ 2.10 3/10 bet365
Stuttgart - Gladbach
Gladbach not in best Shape and with some missings in Offensive - also playing not good at Away Games. But now they play against Stuttgart who last Weekend lost 0-6 to Augsburg. So they changed Coach and i´ve read that new Coach trained a lot in offensive. They must also win Games - because they sit on Play Off - Relegation Place 16 - 6 Points behind Schalke. With a win everything is open and at Home they played there best Games this Season. So i expected a open Game - because also Gladbach needs a Win here for fight for Champions League Places.
Both2Score - Yes + Over 2.5 @ 1.90 4/10 bet365 -

let's face last couple of weeks have been pretty atrocious in trying to pick winners football wise as all team desperately battle to get points for playoff places or avoid getting relegated. it's been difficult for sure and too many unexpected and disappointing results but as the season draws close to the end it won't be any different this weekend so let's see how the following turn out.
acca tip
bournemouth - i'm willing to take risk on this one. call me a rebel or whatever but bournemouth has 50% chance here and i'm willing to give the the benefit of doubt
wigan - i'm expecting wigan to be in the winnable frame of mind and that could see them get three points in this match
sheff wed - bruce has made them very solid defensively and importantly they score goals at the other end so i think they have a shot at playoffs. this is their chance to make it count
west brom - the hosts are surely the better side even if rotherham come to scrap for it i'm expecting west brom to show their quality
barnsley - low odds on home team but their form has been great and scoring isn't a problem.
forest green - the guests have a very solid and mature game to them. they are on four match winning run and should have enough edge about them to win this one as well
stake £20 pays about £4.500 - 5.000
good luck

stay away from swansea. they have a jinx playing away. i expect they will forget how to win on the road again.
hull are solid hosts but sheffield have more quality. i can see them having enough to win
nottingham forest can't wait for season to end. they may come good next year but middlesbrough just need to score one and pretty sure they will defend it with pulis in charge
reading like millwall recently have been pain in the arse. i can't fault a team fighting and chipping points but i fancy west brom to win. it's just that they concede too many goals. if this turns in to the goalfest i'd rather skip it entirely
rotherham are fighting on all cylinders.. this is another vital match for them and i think birmingham are in for a tough day provided the hosts can find the goal like previous match
sheff wed are pretty solid at the back under bruce. bristol city has to go for the win but not sure they will get it. i can see their promotion hopes being dashed here
wigan produced unexpected win against leeds with ten men and it shows how football can spew unexpected results like that. i'm pretty sure 99% of coupons went best because of that. can they follow it up with crucial win against preston. i wouldn't be surprised if they don't as preston just shook of their poor league form with thumping 4-0 win

Udinese to win vs Sassuolo
Sassuolo are in the same 11th position like last season and are all but mathematically confirmed to stay in Serie A next season. Sassuolo’s results vs teams down the table in 18/19 7wins/6draws/3 losses vs 17/18 6wins/6draws/6 losses. 2 of those losses this season happened in recent months away vs relegation battling Empoli and Bologna. Since December’s game vs Frosinone, Sassuolo has not won away with 4 losses & 3 draws. Udinese are on a run of 4 consecutive wins at home and the team has added 7 points to its tally in the 4 games since Igor Tudor is their manager just like the tally from the final 4 matches of Serie A last year when Tudor saved Udinese from the drop zone. This is their most winnable game till end of season and I reckon Udinese are going to snatch a tight victory probably with 1 goal difference
Bologna vs Sampdoria to end up as a draw
Sampdoria & Bologna have not had a draw in 7 matches or in more than 5 years when Sinisa Mihajlovic was coach of Sampdoria. However, Mihajlovic’s record vs the current manager of Sampdoria Giampolo is 6 draws, 1 win and 2 losses. Bologna are missing their top scorer Santander but he did not really contribute in their recent good run of 3 home wins. A real blow seems to be the suspension of the Dutch left-back Dijks as Bologna has won only 1 out of 12 games when Dijks featured for less than 5 minutes(once a substitute for final 3 minutes and 11 times did not even get one minute). Bologna has drawn 6 of those 12 games and 3 out of 5 at home. It is also worth noting that Bologna’s home record 5/4/7 and Sampdoria’s away record 5/4/6 are almost identical so the match can be very close. Sampdoria are still in the mix for European football next season but their chances are slim and not realistic, so I assume Bologna will be more motivated in the match and only able to get a draw or 1 point due to missing players and coach history.
The other main games for the relegation batlle - Cagliari vs Frosinone and Empoli vs SPAL look like unpredictable matches to me. Juventus are probably going to secure the title this weekend but Fiorentina do not give points without a fight this season and Juve’ team spirit may be low after the Champions League loss vs Ajax. I suspect Juve will win with only 1 goal difference like 6 out last 10 home Serie A games vs Fiorentina(2 bigger wins & 2 draws).
On paper AC Milan has its most winnable away game till season end vs Parma and should get the vital 3 points for the Champions League zone.

Getafe vs Sevilla
The La Liga action is here again and we turn our attention to two sides that we haven't really covered too much over the course of the season. It's Getafe and Sevilla going head-to-head in a 1pm kick-off this Sunday at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez with both sides battling for a sought-after Champions League qualification spot.
Getafe are really proving a lot of people wrong this season. Jose Bordalas has guided his team to 5th in the table and they're just 1 point behind 4th placed Sevilla with 6 league games left to play. Their home record has helped build a solid foundation for this season with the club winning 9 of their 15 home matches. They have also only lost 1 of their last 11 league games.
Sevilla are the team they are chasing in that final Champions League qualification spot. A win for the away side here would see them create some breathing space between themselves and their opponents in this game. Joaquin Caparros has come in as caretaker manager after the departure of former head coach Pablo Machin last month. The team has won three consecutive league matches and they've also won their last two away games in the league.
A major concern for me is the fact that Sevilla have only won 5 of their 16 away league games but 2 of those have come in their last two outings on the road. I feel under Caparros they are showing a dynamism that was lacking under Machin and momentum has now swung in their favour. I just think Getafe are a mean side at home and both teams could end up cancelling each other out.

Man CIty v Tottenham-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My feeling is that Spurs get well beaten in this game. A number of reasons.
1) City will be smarting from the CL defeat and out for revenge.
2) The City squad is much deeper than Spurs, and they can easily bring in fresh, high quality replacements
3) Pep will definitely not play such an immobile back line again. When attacked with pace they had no answers. Stones in for Kompany will make a huge difference..
4) City will find a better way to mark Son out of the game. They will learn from previous mistakes and make adjustments.
5) A slight change of tactics. If the wing backs for City bomb forward, and the opponent plays narrow, they are nullified (City don't cross the ball in the air that much). But, having no wing backs at home opens up both flanks to be counter attacked (which is what Spurs did). City will not repeat the same mistakes.
6) Playing 2 games in such a short period, definitely favors the team playing twice at home. You sleep in your own bed (probably:), and are in your home environment. The other team travels 3 times.
I like the home win and over 2.5 goals in this game.
Cardiff v Liverpool-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Realistically a bonus game for Cardiff. Nobody expects anything from them today. 4 Fixtures left. Man United away, Liverpool at home, Fulham away and Crystal Palace at home. In 3 of these games they could be playing opponents who's season is over.
The midweek win over Brighton, will make Liverpool's task very difficult here. The home team will definitely be up for the game. Realistically Cardiff have had a lot of dodgy decisions go against them. Maybe the wheel is turning. What goes around comes around, and they are due some decent fortune.
Cardiff to pack the defense and snatch a goal, holding on for a 1-1 draw, ending Liverpool's title dream.
Everton v Man United------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Are Man U going to make it into the CL spots this season?
They won't take point/s off Man City, so at best they can get 76 points.
Spurs should easily pass this, and Arsenal need just 10 points to equal it (beat them on goal difference). Arsenal have 2 home games against Brighton and Palace (6pts). I would expect 2 home wins there. Then they need a win and a draw in 3 away games (Leicester, Wolves and Burnley away). Very doable.
I read somewhere that Man United players will lose up to 25% of their salaries if United don't qualify for Champions league. Maybe it will make it easier for United to shift them on.
The way United are playing I would be surprised if they take all 3 points at Everton. The appointment of Solksjaer looks a premature disaster to me. It may have saved 50 million and a battle with Levy, but Potch should have been the man. Instead the have an unproven manager at the helm, who has zero track record. For players to demand Solksjaer be manager, is the equivalent of the inmates running the asylum. Ridiculous !
I watch United most games, and I don't see any plan, shape or game plan. It looks like a happier bunch of disorganized strangers (mercenaries), with no methodology or structure.
Everton, coming off wins against Arsenal and Chelsea will be no pushovers here.
Home double chance 1.67

mainz has to make the most of their home advantage. dusseldorf has overachieved already this season. home win
augsburg won a crucial match last weekend and when they come back from poor run of run of form they usually string a few wins together.. i don't think stuttgart will have enough to do win
monchengladbach has been beaten badly couple of times this season and that only tells me defensively got problems and who else to use that to their advantage than leipzig.
