The game that stands out for us is the match-up between high-flying St Etienne and lowly placed Toulouse at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard this Sunday afternoon at 4pm. Is there any other bet worth following than backing the in-form home team? St Etienne are currently on a crusade to qualify for the Champions League with the club in 4th place and just 3 points behind 3rd place Lyon who occupy that last spot that makes them eligible for Europe's elite club competition. It's four wins in their past 5 matches in the league for Jean-Louis Gasset's men. A win is mandatory to keep their hopes of the Champions League next season alive but even Europa League qualification is far from guaranteed with the likes of Marseille and Montpellier right up their rear. Toulouse aren't quite enjoying as good a season. Alain Casanova's men are struggling in 15th place. Relegation seems realistically out of the question now with the team 8 points clear of the bottom three with just 5 league games left to play but they cannot be too certain. I'm going to back St Etienne to carry on their prolific form with another win here. Toulouse have only won 2 of their last 11 league games and it's just 4 wins from their 16 league games on the road. Compare that to St Etienne who boast the third best home record in the league and it could end badly for the travelling side. That's even before we touch on the fact Toulouse have failed to score more than 1 goal in a league game since 16th January.
