  3. As part of my continuing quest to disprove the maxim that you can't lose with a 50% boost on your side I've gone for Welbeck and Wood to score and Brighton win or draw at 15/1 for an interest in the early prem game.

  4. I see what you mean ......I suppose the only advantage is the option of letting it ride on two horses in following race if you fancy a shot at a bigger prize .....but yes 4 PT wins would pay more 🤔.....food for thought indeed

  5. With respect Richard, I think you might want to take another look at this one as I'd say it's going to cost you money, not maximise profits. If you follow this strategy then you have no interest in the second race as your bet is either down after the first one or cashed out in the event of a winner. All £8 is risked on the first race so you'd be better off just having 2 £4 singles on your selections for that race. £4 win at 16/1 or 11/2 beats the cashout you were offered in both instances. There's absolutely no point in doing the doubles if you intend to cash out after a winner in the first race. Only the bookies will gain by paying you less than they would had you invested all the stakes as singles on the first race. Given your proven ability to find winners there's a reasonable case to be made for you doing multis to play up your advantage but you'd be better off letting them run in the long term. I'd say there's no point in placing them at all if the intention is to cash out every time you get a winner.

  6. Any semi-finalist v the other would have beenb a good match up. Hard lines @sirspread and @Wanderlust. Look out for you guys in a future final. Happy punting in the final for this week's victors - @mickyftm32 and @LeMale

  7. McIlroy looks to big to me and I've backed him at 3.79 on the exchanges. He blew a lead last week but now he's chasing and that might make things easier for him. Manassero is a worthy favourite though having backed up his good performance from last week.

  10. hi Richard I'm forced to play devils advocate with the above theory........... Following the first race in your 16/1 example your actual bet is worth £68 so the offer of £48 would mean a loss of 29.42% on what you've already achieved by selecting a 16/1 winner , the extra sense check would be to say imagine your 2nd selections were both 9/1 for the simplicity of the math's then leaving the bet stand would mean a £340 return but reinvesting your cash out of £48 would mean 2 x £24 wins so returning £240 , a third sense check would be to access the value of the £48 and imagine your bet was only worth £48 then you've effectively only had an 11/1 winner instead of 16/1 and given 5 points away for free. You also have to remember the loser in the first bet to evaluate overall bet worth , so effectively you've had a 15/2 winner collectively with £4 stake so that gives you 2 x £34 wins on the 2nd leg which brings us back to the bet worth of £68 after one leg at 16/1. 2nd point is the exchange , in your example providing there isn't another missing angle here in the way of taking over the odds then the exchange would be paying around 20+ for the win part so even with the 2% commission between legs i'd reckon the reinvestment method would be hugely beneficial over bookmaker odds , there would also be the added option of reducing the running on money to act as a part cash out if you so choose and even laying at say 20% bigger on the exchange would be a far better overall package than the bookmaker over round option. Hope i've read your intentions correctly as i'm not out of bed long and still on my first latte ( trading American sports until 5am )

  11. Yes I was concerned it wouldn't count as I didn't know if it had to be a yellow card only, but I've checked and it counts, so just require the one cheeky goal, c'mon boys get your scoring boots on lol.

  14. Two bets this week, one single and one fourfold all on the moneyline. Win Single: Pittsburgh Steelers 1.71 Bet365 The Steelers play at home against the Los Angeles Chargers and I think this will be a close game in which the Steelers defence will prevail and grind out the win. The Chargers won last week though that was against probably the worst team in the NFL currently the Carolina Panthers. Today's game will be a much sterner test for the Chargers. Fourfold: Chicago Bears, Houston Texans, Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens 14.80 SBK (price includes 25% acca boost offer) Best of luck to all.

  17. Yeah, I don’t think any punters are keen on the legislation or the way that firms apply it. The reality is you can’t supply what you haven’t got so I can’t think of any option other than engaging with the firm in question to see if there’s an alternative. One possible outcome is you end up with a lower deposit limit than you would have liked. Might be worth checking out the Betfair forum as I suspect this will be a fairly hot topic on there.

  18. Great round from Horschel today. Fingers crossed his putter stays hot for tomorrow's final round. Aaron Rai in a decent position for you as well mate. Lowry too far off the pace, so I will be cheering your guys on for the win tomorrow.

They do in terms of strike rate (14.8% v 8.4%) but this is over compensated for in the odds. As is often the case you need to go against the crowd.

  38. Well, if you haven't got it you can't supply it so you'll have to tell them that and see if there's an acceptable alternative! If you've not got a P60 have you got an equivalent from elsewhere? (Assuming no UK income means income from elsewhere.) It doesn't say the payslips have to be UK, so maybe the issue is you haven't got any income at all? As for tax calculation, again, if you've not got the UK form have you got an equivalent from elsewhere? If the issue is no regular income at all then I guess the alternative is to provide proof of adequate savings or investments, assuming this is an affordability check. Best engaging with the party that's asking you to provide the proof. Either you agree on an acceptable alternative or you close your accounts I guess.

  42. One I like in this tournament: Shane Lowry 15/1 Bet365 Enhanced Win market Shane has a good record at this course and he played decently last week in Ireland without ever being in true contention preferably leaving him ready and primed for a big performance this week at Wentworth. Best of luck to all with your punts and plays.

  46. I signed up for this over the weekend. Pros for me was the offer of £10 deposit and £25 free without having any wagering requirements. I mean, that is why most people will take up with a new bookie, the offers. I liked the fact you can get hold of support very quickly too, they were in the chat room, and not bots, within about 5 minutes max on 3 separate occasions. On the downside, they charge you 2% on your deposits. I've never had that before and I think it's a liberty. I disliked the mobile experience of using their site. on the whole, a decent bookie, but I'm unlikely to stick with them after the bonus is spent unless they continue to give good offers.
