Another weekend of top Darts, with the UK Open. In Minehead. This is one I'd like to go to, one day. A HUGE event, with 160 players and all within a weekend. Action all the way. Dubbed 'The FA Cup of Darts' this is a random draw, unseeded event that helps many players and can make the winner incredibly hard to predict. Aspinall won this at 125/1 back in 2019. For anybody wanting a big price, the beauty of the draw is that it will show you the route of the player up until we're down to 64. The random draws start from R4 and so some players must play a lot more than others, of course. Much like the FA Cup, in Football. I thought Id do this little intro before I start looking at potential tips. Good luck

  3. A debate takes place in parliament today about affordability checks. It is being proposed that punters would undergo financial screening if they lose £125 in a month. I have made a profit every year for the last 10 years but I've made a loss of more than £125 2 times in the last 5 months so I would therefore have to give up my financial records. I would strongly object to this. Whilst I sympathise with problem gamblers this is not the answer.

  4. Peyton Stearns (-3.5) to beat Anna Karolina Schmiedlova at 1.91 with Bet365 AKS was awful in her last match against Vickery, and Stearns will surely be looking to do well back on home soil after what was a rather disappointing start to the season. She's more talented and the better player already, so I quite fancy her in this spot.

  5. Cornet to beat Osorio - 2.75 with Bet365 Osorio has lost 3 of her last 4 matches and lost her last two matches when favourite. She's not having a great start to the year, dropped to her lowest ranking for a while and Cornet can take advantage.

Yeah, 20/1 would be the minimum Id take here. You could quite easily face MVG then Littler, then Humphries. A nice draw can make all the difference.

  9. Agree with this, West Ham were dire against Forest, we could have scored 5 and we aren't very good! Brentford have had a tough set of fixtures and will find this easier, 2/1 seems a nice price.

  12. There again, neither is Cornet. If Osorio is to break out of her current malaise, this is a good chance for her. Having said that though, I can see the appeal in the prices.

  13. Lejeune to score at 18/1 for Vallecano and 40/1 to do so from outside the box. Caught my eye earlier as right up at the top of the list for shots from free kicks in the the "big 5" leagues. Yet to score this season but has an xG of 1.5, scored 4 last season with 2 being from outside the box. Stuck a quid on the brace at 300/1 for my "100 club" thread, Definitely due one in there!

And the last two winners, Noppert and then Gilding were also surprise winners (or at least semi-surprises). Searle would be a logical candidate to win this one, but he is only (or is it "only"?) around 20/1 this time, which is not surprising given his early form this season.

  26. Sorry but I don't rate your chances of getting a reply given the fact that it's not a particularly popular sport for betting on in here. I'll tag @dejann as he's pretty much the only member to have posted basketball bets in the last year but he's not visited the site since the back end of last year. You might want to try googling for a better chance of finding what you're after.

  28. Folks please don't bet against Errani. She's been on a serious comeback trail for a long time. No player in her age has as high a gear as Sara right now and it's bound to continue for a whole lot of years especially in doubles and she's given Jasmine Paolini a lot of inspiration to reach new heights both in singles and doubles. Whom ever Sara will face she will keep it tight or cruise to victory like she did when teaching Tatjana Maria another lesson recently.
