Nap for today at Uttoxeter 12.12 I'M ON MY WAY. Outsiders for today Punchestown 12.50 BALLYSAX HANK (ew) and Fontwell 1.30 BRULLERE NOIRE (ew) though fitness could be an issue. Hot novice chase at Uttoxeter in 1.42 but surprised to see Hashtag Boum as large as 28/1. JAGWAR needs to live up to the odds on tag in that one but probably will do with a comfortable win.

Denied a treble by ahead in the 8.30 by a 40/1 shot. This makes my Accas balance now -13.16. Elsewhere I made a small profit of 0.35 on the L15's today so a small total loss on the day of 1.25. This makes my RC P/L balance incl L15's and Accas = -226.74

I had the winner and f.cast,could of had the tricast with ur e.way selection.paid £222

My initial thought was to back Gian Van Veen, but he is in the top half and I thought 40-1 was a bit skinny with only 2 places, but he will have a huge 2025 So concentrated on the bottom half of the draw and one price stood out each way 100-1 with Spread Ex about major winner Dimitri Van den Bergh

Here are the overall results for our first season of 24/25. We had a total of 236 winning bets over the 10 weeks, with 87 of the 103 players finding at least one winner. 28 players ended with a profit on their bank which produced a slight overall profit on the total. Top of the overall @waggy ended with a magnificent four figure bank and an incredible 10 out of 10 winning weeks. He was chased and in fact lead by @Wtrylika for most of the way who also ended with four figures and 8 out of 10 winners. Honourable mention too to @u1905068 who also had 8 from 10 winners. Highest odds win award goes to @TFC with a 42.8 winning treble in week 6. Top 5 of the overall win merchandise, if we are able to post to you. Final overall positions also determine your Divisions for the new season, which will be starting this weekend. Division winners follow in the next post.

Have taken 5.5. As you say, back among the goals of late and worth considering even when not value "on paper". Return of Junior probably a minor negative as are the opposition but he's on my "to follow" list at the moment if the price isn't too skinny.

With Bellingham back in scoring form, a price of 6.00 with MGM for another goal looks decent. Mbappe predictably heads the market, but his price seems prohibitively short considering his struggles settling into a new team and so value could lie elsewhere.

Boro seem too big away at Leeds, I don't think there's much between the teams and it should be an open game that will suit freescoring Boro. 1pt win Boro 9/2 Exchange 0.5pts over 3.5 goals 2/1 Bet365 P/L:-8.4pts Luckily Leeds got the 3rd to cover the overs and get my money back, but Boro were disappointing. Flattered to deceive going forward and errors at the back.

Salah 2.22 on the exchange (you may get better). Borderline at 21/20 (odds on in most places) but happy to take him at 2.2 or better on BF. Nothing else for me in that game.

Started 35 games together and scored 38 goals between them (58.5% of the team's goals). Both scored in 9 of the games, both been the only one of the pair to score in 7 and neither scored in 12. 20 goals for Openda and 18 for Sesko. Took Sesko a while to get going last season (didn't score in his first 6 starts by which time Openda had scored in 3 games but then they both scored in the next three). Prices look fair at best tonight, Openda bit short at 2/1 and Sesko fair at 12/5. Watkins not having a great season by his standards but can make a case for him at 7/4. If you're in no doubt that he starts then 3.15 on the exchange looks a solid bet. Only bet so far is 17/1 Orban. Very much at the other end of the scale but I don't think he should be that big. Stats suggest he's a threat at set pieces either with the head or from knockdowns. Put it this way, don't bother backing him to score from outside the area!

Champions league seems strange this year, I won't ever believe that these 'league games' are random. The better teams usually play the better teams, and the worst play the worst.. giving a strange look to the CL league table. Anyway.. Championship is the place for me. The ELO figures are (for the moment) helping with my way of looking at matches for potential bets. A very good weekend personally ( not just the bet advised). The midweek qualifiers are (365 prices for convenience)- I have personally done 4 x trebles with variable stakes depending upon the return odds. Atalanta draw no bet for me , best Italian team at home against top Spanish team , they will be hyped up , also their last 2 CL home game they have scored 0 goals which is insane considering they are the best scoring home team in Italy so it has to happen sometimes

Day 7 picks, all 4 of these could win. Day 7 Results: 1 winner returned £1.20, not what i had in mind, Mr Ubiquitous backed in from 15/8 to 4/6 but ran like a drain, Have You a Minute pulled hard and ran awful, Kylian lost to 9yo Equilateral.

Oh don't get me going re-affordability checks. I used to be a customer service manager in a Betting Office but left recently on a point of principal re-these checks. What i was being asked to do under the guise of "protecting the punter" was totally unpalatable to me. So a word of warning to those that still go into Betting Shops, "you are being watched"

I think this highlights how rare the big wins are with L15s When I was able to do them I had 602 bets and made a profit of £1,000 However there were only 2 "big" wins of over £100. These were £990 and £375 (one 4 timer and 1 treble) With 27 days and 11 players that's 297 bets I'd say it's 50/50 that we get a big win

Final Results: @waggy take a bow. 10 winners from 10 weeks, a mix of singles, doubles and trebles, finishing with a massive stake winner which leaps you over long time Division and overall leader @Wtrylika who just fell away the last 2 weeks but still ended with a 4 figure total too. CakeCakeCake sneaks into the 3rd prize place despite not making an overall profit.

Just wondered if any members on the forum followed or were interested in the French National Hunt racing that has now been covered a fair bit on Sky Racing for quite a while now. Sometimes appears a useful alternative when the UK fayre has it's less appealing days. Happy to hear any thoughts on this and feel free to post any French Fancies on here as well if you wish. Any input on this subject is most welcome.
