Lord North came up short on his seasonal debut in this race last year but this time round there is no Alenquer in the race so I would expect him to take this before going on to bigger challenges, currently 4/5 at the books and 1.86 on the exchanges, 2.05 Lingfield................Won nice and easy Its never easy to predict the outcome of Mullins horses when he has more than one fancied runner in a race. Tomorrow in the Bobbyo Chase at 3.55 he saddles both Kemboy and Carefuly Selected, the latter did me a favour last time and I;m sticking with him, he ran a lovely race in the Thyestes last time out, just winning but giving a stone to the runner up was no mean feat, the 4th home that day Coko Beach came out and won a Grand National trial. Carefully Selected is currently 10/3 and on the drift and 4.9 on the exchanges......................picked the wrong one ☹️ Good luck tomorrow everyone.

A Class 3 Handicap should be well within the range of Hickory on the all weather at Southwell tomorrow, 3.35 race. A winner of all three of his starts to date and quite impressively too, especially so his most recent win over this distance at Kempton 71 days ago. He wont that day by less than a length but his win was a very cosy one and could have been further if needed. Giving a stone to a 73 rated horse that day and the manner of the victory says to me that he is still ahead of the handicpper of his new mark of 87. Couple his form along with the stable form of Fanshawe, 4 winners form his last 7 runers and the current price of 7/4 at the books or 3.1 on the exchanges looks very fair to me.............poor effort, finished fourth. Kateira has an entry in the Ballymore (50/1), the way she hammered the opposition last time says that maybe she is good enough to take her place in the field at the Festival. Happy to get 1.84 for this one tonight in the 2.45 Market Rasen......................WON as an odds on shot should win, nice and easy😘 Mixed Wave won nicely last time out from out of the handicap. The form of his last two races has worked out well with the runner up coming out and winning next time up, prior to that in a race where he finished fourth the winner and third won again next time up. Currently around the 3.75 on Betfair.......drfting, out to 4.2, there will be a lay off price in running for this one...........................................................went off at a Bfsp of 3.96 and nice and easy, never headed.😘 Good luck tomorrow everyone.
