Didn't get one single booking tonight, I do have a study aswell I don't just pick any tom, dick and harry lol I will stick with this type of bet, I think it's better than the usual win accumulator I normally do.4 points -
Chased this up (the guy isn't on Twitter that much) and got the reply back that "they're happy with the settlement due to it being an enhancement which has different rules compared to bog standard ones, i.e. win only". So the outcome we'd arrived at the consensus was most likely while we waited for the response. I'll chalk it off as career development and site it as an example of "going above and beyond" on my next performance review. It's a shame customer services couldn't reply along those line when first contacted, and that the rules don't make it clear enough that we didn't need to query it. I still have no idea whether they honoured the 3 places or reduced it to 2 and as @LeMale says above they don't make it clear what they'll do when there are non-runners in extra place races so you're left to wait and see how your bet ends up settled. Assuming they don't make it up as they go along it should be possible to draft rules that make it clear to customers what will happen in any given scenario. But that's bookies settlement rules for you, it's pretty much the wild west out there and a case of "let the punter beware". Still a nice win though!3 points

Likely I add another couple, but for now I have: Price 10/1 Noppie 40/1 Edhouse 80/1 Clemens 125/1 Wattimena 175/1 Scott Williams 175/1 Wouldn't normally back someone as short as Gerwyn for these, but he looked well up for it yesterday and I think he might be going for it this week in the hope he can win a good chunk of money and not have to bother turning up for the last few of these. He's 58th in the OOM as it stands!3 points -
Kane to score at least two at 5.00 with MGM looks good. Also Liverpool to score at least three at 4.00 and AC Milan/Liverpool in the half time/full time market at 29.00 for a longshot with the same firm.3 points

Not related to superlee's bet and just to further confuse you H, they do change the places when you choose "each way extra" and you don't get BOG either. I used to use this for single bets sometimes when i used to get a decent price, (i no longer do, but it might not just be me, they may well have slashed prices for everyone) and i would find that i no longer had the 6,7 or 8 places i selected and they had moved my place selection down because of non runners, but with no mention on my bet slip, which i always found a bit odd.2 points

The way I think of this @richard-westwood is that the higher class horses are running faster from the start of the race and your 'up in class Donny winner' is using up his energy keeping up with them before the race kicks in with a couple of furlongs to go When the others speed up, he can't. And having used up his energy in the first two-thirds of the race his final overall time will be worse as he loses a lot of speed compared to the speed he can still muster having ambled along at class 5 speed in his last race Even if the first two-thirds of the class 2 race are run at a slow pace it's still quicker than the slow pace that the first two-thirds of the class 5 are run at I have a fairly precise definition of class in handicap races. I assign race class by what a horse carrying 9 stone would be rated. So if your horse is rated 76 and is set to carry 8-10 then you add 4 lbs to his rating and this is a class 80 race. You can very quickly look at his recent races and assign a class figure to them and see how he has performed in different 'class'. A few pounds here and there doesn't bother me but I'm wary of horses running in a 10lb or more better race even if they won last time (unless there's evidence that they are improving types over a period of time)2 points -

That is without doubt the hardest thing I have struggled with over my years of rating.....like space/time for instance ...without one the other doesn't work ....it's very similar in horse racing with class ....and yet I'd say 8/10 punters completely ignore it despite the fact you see it in action every single day and none of it makes any sense for all intense purposes it's an unseen entity As I said before ....take a horse who runs in a class 5 at Doncaster and produces a blistering speed rating of 90 ......comes out at Doncaster again two weeks later ...same ground ....same distance ....only raised say 2lb .....and on that day that previous 90 is 4 PTS better than all the other horses in the race ......now you'd think this horse was a fantastic bet any day of the week .....an absolute steal if it was being offered up at any price but in my experience this horse will get beat 8/10 ......and not just beat ....beaten badly ....every time ....which I agree doesn't make sense ....because of the unseen entity ....class I've pondered this problem ....over and over ....why ???.....the nearest I can fathom is is higher classes the speed is tactical ....it bends and changes as the race unfolds .....yes a class 2 might only be run in a 88 on a given day and then stick that class 5 90 horse in the race next time and he runs to his 90 level blasting off ....but the other horses adjust past ....because they can .......and that to me is the key .....because they can .....the only thing that makes any sense ....the pure essence of class2 points -
Looks like ITV will not be showing the Breeders Cup this year .......... citing 'prior broadcasting contracts' 'An ITV spokesperson said that the timings for this year’s meeting clash with existing contracted programming across ITV’s channels, leading to the Breeders’ Cup not being able to be shown' Most of the ITV channels just show repeats, I wonder what on earth they're contracted to broadcast over their half dozen channels2 points

Let's try these where the value meter ticks over into the red. Tielmans to score at 7.4 (would have taken 6/1 best bookies). To score in the first half at 11/1 Watkins brace 8/1 and 1st half goal 10/3. Just shy for a straight anytime bet unless you can get on the 6/4 boost with Uni.2 points -

Week Three NFL Predictions It’s week three already, time certainly goes faster as I get older. Hopefully we shall see some more predictable victories this week. (1) Bengals to win ATS -7.5 points @ 10/11 The Bengals are 0-2. So I am expecting a big game from the Bengals who could have beaten the Super Bowl champions in week 2. Washington beat the Giants thanks to 7 field goals and no touchdowns. I can’t see how the Washington rookie QB will cope against the Bengals defence. Joe Burrows gets going here. (2) Lions to win ATS -3.0 points at 20/21 The Lions are 1-1 having taken care of the Rams in week one. They lost to a good Tampa side in week two despite having 200 yards more offence. I expect the offence to have better luck this time. In a shoot-out I prefer Jarod Goff and the Lions to the Cardinals. (3) Browns to win ATS -6.0 points @ 20/23 The Browns have played two completely different games. In week one, they were decimated by the Cowboys but in week two they took care of the Jags. With more confidence Deshaun Watson can drive this team to victory against the Giants. (4) Bears to win Moneyline @ Evens The Packers showed everyone how to beat the Colts. Just run the ball on them. The Bears defence is solid only allowing three points to the Texans in week two. (5) Texans to win ATS -2.5 points @ 10/11 Like a lot of the pundits, I am keen on the Texans this year. This week they go to Minnesota to take on the Vikings who were fortunate to beat the 49Ers last week. Everything the 49Ers tried appeared to go wrong. Luck has a habit of balancing out so I will take the Texans (who are 2-0 with narrow wins over the Colts and Bears) to get the win. YTD P10 W4 D1 L5 Staked 60 pts, returned 3.73 pts = loss of 56.27 Bet: 10 x 1 point trebles 5 x 3 point 4 timers 5 point accumulator 30 points staked All prices Bet3651 point

40/1 the best price I can see for Menzies now, if this carries on he will be single figures by the time he actually wins one of these. Annoying we've been backing him at 100/1 while he's been knocking on the door1 point

I had every intention of swerving Cameron Menzies today as I thought his price was going to be too short. But Star Sports have him priced up at 50/1 again, so going to have to give him another chance. I think I’ll wait for the draw to see who else I go for.1 point

Although I've not posted every day I haven't had a single winner in the Naps comp for around 7 weeks during August and September to date ....... this comes after winning the 'Most Winners' category in July .......... I don't know what's gone wrong ! I have been trying to pick a few bigger priced ones but they all get beat It's a tad dispiriting I suppose I could look for some huge odds on shots just to 'get back on the horse' How would you cope with a long losing run, either in the comps or with bets ? I tend to take a few days off and hope to come back refreshed but that's not much use for the comps where you've got to be in it to win it !1 point
