430 Newton Abbot

Fine Jewellery 7/4 Skybet

Won last time out at Towcester on only his second start over fences, has since been off the track for 86 days and looks to pick up where he left off. Looks a cut above his rivals to me and we get a decent price because Olly Murphy has a runner with Johnson booked, that one needs to find bundles and i'm happy to take him on. Poor days racing overall.

Kempton 8.40 Dutiful Son @ 14/1 bet365 e/w thanks

Dutiful Son......from Simon Dow yard the 7yo is a C&D winner and has been a winner of six races from 6f to 7f on polytrack with five of the six wins coming at this track , With his last win in March this year over 6f ,

Since that last win they gave him a run at Epsom 5f (good) going may have been good but the run was something else when 10th of ten runners needless to say the yard have went back to AW at two here and two other tracks where his form although not great his last race 22 days ago at Chelmsford 6f class 3 when he finished 5th with Jack Duern claiming 3lb in saddle ,

He goes in class 4 race tonight off 76 only a 1lb higher than last race but its the booking of Jamie Spencer that catches the eye and back to favourite track and over his best distance 7f

3.20 Salisbury: Class 4 Handicap, 1m

Kryptos has improved with each start since switching yards, running really well on debut for John Barry returning from a long break at Newmarket. On the day beaten in third only by individuals rated 91 and 100 now.

Race fit he went to Chester and finished from a near impossible position super strongly to win on handicap debut. Form and ratings suggest he could easily follow up off his revised mark. Conditions pose no trouble, only the draw is a slight concern.

William Hill 1/4

@Alastair

You have actually got a good bet here now that the second fav is out, Alcala is 1/33 and by my reckoning you have a 1/5 shot after the 20p Rule 4.

These races are very easily to manipulate if you knew the inside info about a horse that is about to be withdrawn. Hope it doesn't fall now! :ok

8.10 Kempton - George Reme -10/1 @skybet

"It's sole win came on the all-weather (Newcastle) in a class 4 maiden last year (7f) and was 2 3/4L 3rd in a class 2 nursery (£17K to winner) over 1m after that.Those have been it's only outing on that surface and it's down 9lb on that last outing to a mark of 70,an opening mark of 79 on the all-weather being the highest achieved on that surface.It is the top speed rated horse on the all-weather (7f).Trainer is doing ok at the moment so this 3yo could go well today back on the all-weather.Is into 9/1 in places from 16's"
