Wincanton 2.15 Pennies And Pounds - 28/1 bet365 e/w thanks Pennies And Pounds - from Julian S Smith a 12yo that's probably seen her best days and showed signs 116 days ago that there may be another place finish in her after a 3rd place at Warwick over 2m 5f good to soft , Looks like its been a family pet as has only had the 21 races in her career with only one win way back in 2015 , She had a small spell in class 4 races but back in class 5 today with Mark Grant in saddle

Naas 2:35 Hee Haw - 22/1 betvictor e/w thanks Hee Haw - what I 've been getting lately always one beats you so a wee e/w single see if I get any better luck the 5yo is trained by Adrian McGuinness now as last November Paul Midgley he was transferred over to Ireland and new trainer, He was a winner of five races from 5f to 6f on ground varying from good to firm to soft and on the all-weather four of which was on Turf and the AW came two races back for McGuinness where he's ran him in all nine race at Dundalk since he arrived , His last race was 16 days ago when up 4lbs after that win to 71 mark and is up another 2lb for this Turf race with a tongue strap on for first time with Andrew Slattery claiming 7lbs in the saddle

  4. Naps - Saturday Mar 23rd

Newbury 2:40 Glenpark - 50/1 betfair e/w thanks Glenpark - from Miss Lucinda Russell yard she sends the 4yo on a long journey South from Perth which must have been doing something special at home especially when she could have went to the Kelso track today and be home in time for Saturday Nights Dinner , He's had the four runs and yet to be placed with last run 14 days ago at Sandown 2m when finished 3rd of six runners and beaten by 16 lengths off his first handicap mark of 108 when Tom Scudamore was in saddle who's probably gave dad Peter some info on horse as the Dams side pedigree suggests this longer trip may well help as Peter is Lucinda's partner. The Handicapper took 2lbs off after last run and step up in distance and jockey Stephen Mulqueen taking another 3lbs off I wouldn't be surprised if he finds a place finish at a big price

Musselburgh 2.30 Rioja Day - 12/1 bet365 e/w thanks Rioja Day - from Jim Goldie yard he also owns the 9yo now after the Ayrshire Racing & Partner gave him up in 16 Jan 2019 Jim has ran him four times since owning him twice on AW at Newcastle and twice hurdling at Ayr and here 12 days ago over 2m 4f GS off 77 mark with 7lb claimer in saddle when 6th of 14tn runners he had no impression 2 from home and finished beaten 10.5 lengths , Jim bring him back to same track but over a shorter distance of 2m which he ran at Ayr when 3rd last month , He's down in weight to 10st 6lbs that's 8lbs less plus same jockey Danny McMenamin as last race and still gets 7lbs off the same 77 mark he last ran at which is Jim's style in handicaps looking for value in handicaps.

Chepstow 4:00 Lac Sacre - 18/1 betvictor e/w thanks Lac Sacre - from John Flint yard the 10yo won this race in 2017 and is a regular round here at this time of year , He had a break of 224 days through the summer and had three races this season two 4th place finishes and last race 31 days ago PU at Lingfield all three races where 3m 2.5f , 3m 4.5f and last race 3m 5f those races have saw his handicap mark to come down from 108 to 100 mark for today , The drop to class 4 plus shorter distance to 2m 7.5f also those three stamina races should see him in with a shout as he won it off 102 in 2017 and a lot off his place finishes have been roundabout this mark , Jamie Moore rode him for first time in last race and gets the ride again today and 3lbs better off today
  7. Naps - Wednesday March 20th

Chepstow 5:05 Chimes Of Dylan - 20/1 PP win thanks Chimes Of Dylan - from Tim Vaughan yard I had Tim's 20/1 winner yesterday and he goes with a similar type of horse today another that's came from another yard in January this year, he ran 2 PTP and 10 NH races finding a winner of a hurdle race at 2m 4f on good ground for Neil King yard in July last year which was his last race, A break of 174 days before he came to Tims yard who gave him 6 days schooling before he ran him at Sedgefield 2m 5f when 4th but lost pace and trailed in 15 lengths behind winner but that poor run saw yard send him for wind op and he's had 36 days more schooling ,stamina and fitness work and comes here with tongue strap on again also Alan Johns keeps the ride so yard will get some more info off Alan
  8. Naps - Tuesday March 19th

Taunton 2:50 Adherence - 12/1 bet365 win thanks change of tactics wins only for rest of month Adherence - A 8yo who had a career on flat turf and handful in NH before changing hands to Tim Vaughan on 5th Feb this year his last run was for Kenneth Slack yard 361 days ago when 3rd at Sedgefield 2m 4f. He's had 41 days being at the Vaughan yard so I would expect they've been working on stamina , fitness and jumping skills as he's only had five runs to date in NH and last run was his best and received a1lb rise to 98 mark with James Best getting his 1st time on horse
  9. Naps - Monday Mar 18th

Navan 4.30 Kayf Thou - 9/1 PP e/w thanks Kayf Thou - from Gordon Elliott yard who had a poor Cheltenham he saddle a 8yo who's been a winner of a chase at 3m 1f on yielding ground. He's lightly raced for yard but was gelded in 2013 and didn't have a PTP till 2016 when 3rd then wasn't seen till Gordon bought him from Jack Barber yard in January 2018 Gordon gave him 4 runs before summer and gave him 222 day break before coming out in December last year and January this year two poor runs and for next race in same month he got mark off 94 and won at Fairyhouse 3m 1f hcp hurdle the handicapper hit him with a 8lbs rise in his last race 33 days again at Fairyhouse 2m 7.5f beaten 7.5 length and his fourth different jockey this season and its another different jockey for today but was on him twice last year and is up another 1lb with Mark Enright who'll be able to access him as he was poor when mark was last on him

  13. Naps Saturday March 16th

Uttoxeter 3.35 Arthurs Gift - 11/1 WH e/w thanks Arthurs Gift - from Nigel Twiston-Davies yard who didn't have much joy at Cheltenham the 8yo has won three hurdle races and a chase from 2m 4f to 3m on good to soft and soft ground. He opened that chase account at only the third attempt when a 5 lengths winner on soft ground over 3m at Carlisle he was still running on at a stiff track so the step up may see another key in his career and maybe a Grand National run in the future, With Sam Twiston-Davies in saddle he'll be able to gauge his running for his dad,
