  1. 210 York: Firmament NAP 2/1 Bet365 David O'Meara pulled this one out of an engagement last week and looks to have found a suitable replacement here. He was a very good third last time out in better company at Ascot and is well up to taking a handicap off his current mark. Has won at York before and will be fully wound up now after that run 24 days ago.

  3. May 1 Good start, 34 players, 9 winning bets
  4. Adrrastos NAP 13/8 Skybet Took his time to get his head in front over hurdles but did so at Plumpton on a sound surface which was the key to his improvement. Last time out at Newton Abbot he ran well under his penalty to be third and this looks a weaker contest. The ground looks sure to dry out and that will be ideal.

  8. May 25th Dan's turn today to hit a big one and sneak into the money slots
  9. 430 Warwick: Festive Affair NAP 9/4 Bet365 Returned from a six month break to win at Ludlow in good style and its interesting that the yard have sent him out again within 11 days to carry a 7lb penalty. He led for most of the ay that day and beat a useful yard stick in Noche De Reyes. I reckon he's worth sticking with while he's in this form.

  12. @smduk last warning about prices, once more and you will be disqualified from this competition, to be honest i have better things to do than keep checking your prices everyday. Its not even difficult to quote a proper price or even just do SP. I dont think you have put more than a couple of prices that were correct in the last two weeks. Thanks
  13. Monaco GP A lot of people look forward to the glamour of the Monaco GP and everything that goes with Monte Carlo. For me its one of the most boring races of the season and has been called many things in the past, such as a high speed traffic jam that lasts just under 2 hours. You only have to look at the stats to know that we have a Safety Car almost every year (1/10 We do, 11/2 We dont), the track is just too narrow in places and now the cars are wider it looks a sure fire certainty. The incidents obviously lead to drivers retiring through damage and this week the spread is two cars under its normal figure. Most bookies are betting on under or over 13.5 finishers. Personally I think they have gone low here and i'd rather be on 'overs' at around 8/11 with Skybet. Pole position is vital here, 8 out of that last 11 races the pole sitter has led all the way, you just cant overtake on the track in many places, you may get to do an undercut in the pits but you would need to be pretty close to even achieve that. Last year we had a shock pole sitter in Ricciardo and he could not withstand the Mercedes in the actual race. It started behind the Safety Car in rain so it wasn't a normal GP by nay means. Vettel is odds on for pole and if he gets it he will be long odds on for the race, lets hope Hamilton is alongside on the grid and then we might get some action. Red Bull are going ok and often do well here so expect one of them at least to split the other Ferrari and Mercedes cars. If they qualify well i'd fancy the Red Bull for a podium spot this week. Early bet; Over 13.5 Finishers : 8/11 Skybet

  16. I give up with this bloke!
  17. 640 Kempton : Margherita Evens Betfair Roger Varian is going well at the moment and has a fine chance with his filly Margherita here. Placed twice so far including a decent third at Wolverhampton last time out and now should be ready to get her head in front. She looks to have found a weak race here and the impressive David Egan takes the ride and claims a useful 7lbs.
  18. Latest positions at the end of October
  19. Do best on the AW and in low grade handicaps. Summer jumps is a bit inconsistent but in saying that we did have the first 5 winners at Huntingdon last night. Trebles are up on the month and Saturdays only are showing a nice profit. Early prices are a must for any backer, so much value the evening before
