Nap of the Day - Wednesday 11th Feb 2015

Re: Nap of the Day - Wednesday 11th Feb 2015 16:05 Chepstow Mini Muck 0.5pts e/w 12/1 Boylesports (BOG) Only 2lbs higher than the last winning mark with a 50% (3/6) strike rate in this class of race and 50% (1/2) at the distance. A return to 2m4f might just suit and the formidable Twiston-Davies partnership can give a decent account for themselves.

Re: Nap of the Day - Wednesday 11th Feb 2015 1.55 Ling medicean Melody win 7/2 bet365 Secret Safe won fibresand lto so has to translate that to poly under a 6lb pen , plus on breeding doesn't look like its crying out for middle distances. simcocks Medicean Melody looks likely winner , should be suited by step up in trip on breeding , trainer has one of the best records in 3yo h/caps of the trainers and has the best jock on board so not messing about :)

Re: Nap of the Day - Wednesday 11th Feb 2015 Kempton 6.45 - Kakapuka (1pts win, 15/2 PaddyPower) Not been in the best form lately but as a result has slipped down to a career low mark. His effort lto at Wolverhampton though was a better run and he did battle on despite finishing 4 lengths off the winner but it was his best showing for a while and a return to form here wouldn't be the biggest surprise.

Re: Nap of the Day - Wednesday 11th Feb 2015 Ling 2.30 - Legal Art - win at 13/2 bog boylesports 7F maiden race for 3yo The 3 market leaders here are all unraced making their track debuts, ne from the Balding yard and 2 from Simcock. Neither of those trainers are particularly noted for first time out winners tough both get the odd one.......so there's a fair chance that all 3 of the debutants might need the run I'm going for what appears to be the best of the ones with previous experience. My selection is having his second out having shown some promise first time out, running green, headway halfway, ran on late. Steps up a furlong which should suit. I'm hoping that normal second time out improvement will see him catch out the more highly regarded market leaders I'd be happier if there were a few more runners and my selection was an EW price but you can't have everything

Re: Nap of the Day - Wednesday 11th Feb 2015 3.30 Chepstow: Dresden 3/1 WH/PP Cant fancy a lot today so will take a chance on Dresden off his current mark in a novices handicap. Been sent chasing since joining Henry Oliver and seems to have the scope to improve judged on his two efforts so far. He was only 6th in a good race on his debut and never really put in the race but improved on that with a fair second at Ludlow behind Sir Valentino. He could be ready to strike now and the opposition all have questions to answer. He may just want better ground but they say its good to soft, if it is then it should be fine but good to soft at Chepstow in Feb??????? Lets see.

Re: Nap of the Day - Wednesday 11th Feb 2015 Down Royal 3.45 Glenquest (5/2 bet365) If non runner Chepstow 4.05 Still Believing Glenquest has won 4 races all on soft or heavy ground. Last time out he was a good 3rd in the welsh national on heay ground and that gives him an ATR speead rating 21 points superior to anything else in the field
