  1. Old Guard looks a good outsider bet for this and connections seem to be keen on this improver been aimed at the Champion Hurdle. Likely to be a small final field (At this stage would be surprised if more than 8 line up) so Each way with Paddy looks good at 25\1. For the more cautious Skybet offer 16\1 NRNB. Old Guard likely to be the number 1 contender for the Nicholls stable.
  2. Hopefully Moon Racer will be out soon, anyone seen any news? Now available at 16\1! Belshill won today but maybe going for the longer Neptune for which he is favourite. Min looks to be the top Mullins horse for this after a very good maiden hurdle win on Thursday.
  3. Skybet now going NRNB in the big 4 championship races..... Need to have a look as there are top price on some of the less fancied contenders
  4. Good to see this thread back! One of my favourites! Good luck today
  5. Good luck Aidy. Is this the 1st time you have put up a tip for every race? If not how have you done before?
  6. Just look at the horse's he rode and the major wins in his career. A fantastic record. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pat_Eddery Incredible jockey and up there with best. RIP
  7. Another cracking Saturday's results finding 2 winners at decent odd's from your top 3 rated. Keep up the good work. Have been doing these as multiples and had two profitable Saturdays. Keep up the good work.
  8. 13.55 Aintree - Just A Normal Day - Win @ 10\1 Stanjames (BOG) 3m 1/2f (Class 2) Handicap Hurdle - Pertemps Network Series Qualifer 7 runners with the 1st 6 qualifing for the final at the Cheltenham Festival in March. Shutthefrontdoor - Decent staying chaser with likely target of Grand National next year. Could be just a run out today to qualify for final and unlikely to be given a hard race. Our Kaempfer - Decent performance here in April in Grade one hurdle over todays distance. Big Chance and has a recent run so likely to be spot on for todays race. Join The Clan - Plenty of hurdling experi
  9. Cracking early price on Join The Clan, now around the 6\1 mark although guess there will be a rule 4 on your price. Fascinating race made more interesting by been a Pertemps Qualifier for the Cheltenham Festival with the top 6 finishers all been eligible. I am sure that Jonjo has one eye on the final at the festival, a race he loves to target, with this horse so my only concern would be a tender ride just to qualify with out having any effect on his handicap mark. Hope I am wrong for your sake! The other I will be watching with interest will be the Dan Skelton runner Just A Normal Day who woul
  10. Fontwell - 15.40 - Banks Road - Win @ 8\1 PP A 3m 1f 142y handicap hurdle on soft ground with just 6 runners. Banks Road has had one win from 10 hurdles races but of more importance that win was on heavy ground over 3m 1f. Runs today off 1lb lower than that win. Of greater importance looks to be the only one of the field that will get the distance and handle the soft ground.
  11. Great start! Top 3 rated give all the winners!
  12. Lovely drift on price! Well done Rob!
  13. OK Just to wrap up this thread as there will be few runners now until the end of the calender year. 117 Runs from the initial list of 30 horses with 26 wins from 17 different horses. 5 did not run at all. Betting every winner at 1pt Win SP would have given a loss of 8 points but best early prices and BOG would have dragged this in to profit (I personally made 1pt profit! over the year). Interesting exercise and one that thankfully did not hit the betting balances. Following the older horse's was the main success. Older Horses (18 Horses) was 76 bets, 18 winners, 23.68%SR, and 9 pts profit at S
  14. One of the 2 big Bumper Winners of last year with the other been Belshill winner of the Grade 1 bumper at Punchestown. Both are on my own personal list of horses to follow for this winter. Brave move this far out Aidy but Anti-Post bets on Cheltenham are great fun! One trend against Moon Racer is the record of 7yo. At this stage at current prices I prefer Belshill from the Mullins stable and available at 16\1 with a number of bookies. No bet at this stage but looking forward to both making there hurdles debut!
  15. Non runner. One for Sunday...... Gordon Lord Byron - 1 pt win @ 11\4 PP
