Re: Nap of the day saturday 18th october C4.15 True Pleasure e/w 14/1 Betvictor Ths horse handed out a 5 length hammering when last seen over this course and distance and the extra 5lb on its back might not stop it winning here again under the same jockey. The horse has been racing on good ground lately but clearly needs some give and a return to form looks likely for a horse that is surely overpriced on that form

Re: Nap of the day saturday 18th october Ascot 1:45 - Whiplash Willie WIN @ 9/1 Bet365 Wide open race, think Estimate can go well, but Whiplash Willie is guaranteed to love the heavy ground. He has found winning tough but he is very consistent and he should have been a lot closer at Longchamp last time out only he got hampered when just about to make his move. He finished 2nd to Estimate in the Doncaster Cup last month on good ground but with the ground now heavy I would fancy him to reverse that form for the in-form Balding yard.

Re: Nap of the day saturday 18th october Ascot 2.55 - Hadaatha (1pts win, 13/2 BetVictor) Been solid in four runs to date winning two of them and placing 3rd in the other two. Her last outing at Longchamp was a gret effort beaten just 1/2 length and looks as if she wants this step up in trip as long as she handles the ground should be a chance.

Re: Nap of the day saturday 18th october 2.20 Ascot - Jack Dexter 1pt win @ 13/2 Boylesports As we seen at Newmarket today, the ability to handle the testing ground will be key tomorrow and there are a few in this race that relish testing ground. Gregorian would have been of interest had the yard been in better form and Maarek as well if he didn't have the tendency to play up at the start and miss the break. The stand out bet for me in this is Jack Dexter who was only just touched off by Slade Power in this last year. He has been consistent all year running in group races and he warmed up for this with an excellent 4th behind Louis The Pious over CD. The ground tomorrow will be right up his street as most of his best runs have come in testing conditions. He goes well at the track and everything looks in his favour to go one better than last year. There are several interesting horses in opposition that will also handle the ground but I fancy Jack Dexter to see them off.

Re: Nap of the day saturday 18th october 4.45 ASCOT DREAM WALKER @ 20/1 Betvictor BOG ew With the ground being heavy many of these may struggle (Chatez and Levitate) at the top of the market should be fine but one a bit further down the hcap and the betting is DREAM WALKER. Ellision is not adverse to springing a surprise in a big hcap and whilst his hcap mark is high he has been running with credit throughout the season and this ground may just bring out the necessary improvement to go close here. Dream Walker has won 13 times on Soft or worth and has won 4 and been second 4 times.

Re: Nap of the day saturday 18th october 2,00 Cheltenham - Vivaldi Collonges win 6/5 bet365 Stepped up to 3miles back in april at Ayr when jumping well in the main apart from a little mistake 2 out but wasnt hard pressed to go alongside leader and drew clear and jockey didnt give him a hard time. Race worked out ok with 2nd who was eased down when not looking like winning , won since and a few others have came out and run well. Nicholls won this back in 2010

Re: Nap of the day saturday 18th october 1.40 Kelso: Spiculas 7/4 ladbrokes Looks a two horse race on paper and i just fancy Spicuals ahead of Another Mattie who has had several chances to open his account. Spiculas is from the Reveley yard and was 3rd to John Reel on his debut which was ok form. Third to Garrahalish and second to Mister Springsprong since is decent in a race of this context and should be very hard to beat.
