Re: Nap of the day saturday 18th october Cheltenham 15:45 – Roalco Des Farges – 1pt win @ 14/1 BetFred Roalco De Farges looks to be on a nice mark again. His victory back in March at Newbury was convincing from a mark of 127 and he suffered a 13lbs rise as a result. On the face of it he struggled with his inflated rating on his two following runs, but it was definitely his stamina, or lack off, that cost him. He travelled and jumped well in both the Scottish National and bet365 Gold Cup, but it's clear a trip of around 3m3f is his maximum; today's 3m1f around Cheltenham should be perfect. Trainer Philip Hobbs has been in good form, sending out Uncle Jimmy to win and collecting a big pot with Ceasrewitch winner, Big Easy. Tom O'Brien is a jockey I like and the price is an attractive one. The summer break is always a slight concern, but plenty of others are in the same boat. Potential handicap blot Le Bec is out and the majority of the others are exposed.

Re: Nap of the day saturday 18th october 2.20 ascot viztoria @ 13/2 bv Although 17 runners I can only give 3/4 a chance. Don't like the fav on the ground and is no value. My selection ran a cracker last wk, gets the fillies allowance and should relish the conditions. Trainer/jockey combo have a good strike rate here and the trianer is 3/4 in top class races at the track. Can see this one dropping in behind in front few and powering through... I do love Jack Dexter under these conditions but not sure he is the same horse as last yr and will want to run a similar tactic as my selection.... I think we could go off fav so 13/2 looks a decent price.

Re: Nap of the day saturday 18th october im gonna stick with pethers moon 4.05 ascot, as although needs to find a bit more on the book, i feel hes a classy horse and would be improving. the trip and ground dont concern me and i feel 25/1 is too big for a horse thats got a touch of class and on the up. 0.5 pts ew 25/1 bet365 bog

Re: Nap of the day saturday 18th october 4.05 Asc - Pether's Moon - ew at 25/1 bog bet365 I fancy a flutter on a EW shot in the Champion stakes. With the ground coming up 'Heavy' it could be a bit of a lottery and suit a horse that stays further My selection appears to be improving this season as a 4Yo......he's won G2 and G3 races on his last two starts both on Soft ground and over 2 furlongs further than today's trip He shouldn't really be beating the likes of Cirrus des Aigles and Free Eagle.......but the latter is very inexperienced and I'd give my horse a chance against the others
