Cracking race at 3:00 St-Cloud tomorrow more competetive than the eclipse in my opinion. Notebook horse Baratti runs, i think 33/1 (imo should be around 8/1 in this race) is good ew value but i do like Alpinista 6/1 which beat last years arc winner torquator tasso (won today) quite easily last year I wonder what Sir Mark Prescotts and the owners thoughts were after that Arc. This really is a very competetive race and i think anything can happen so singles and Rfc's for me.

Also another notebook horse as highlighted by @calva decoy runs at chelmsford tomorrow  at 5:40 Enshrine currently around 11/8f

What's your take on that ?...just one of those annoying blips considering a fav strike rate shoukd be 25-30%?...or bookies setting up false favs ??

I fail to see the relevance of the above.

Taking in all JT favs as favs (hence 9 favs @ Haydock and only 7 races)

Fav to runner ratio still shows that Favs outperformed their chances of winning by +2.67%
While non favs under performed by -0.36%

My take on it? Not a lot, i just noticed it and said to myself i'm glad i don't back favs. June july is supposed to be the strongest month for favs winning. (for info) 9 consecutive favs got beat in the last 9 races. Half interestingly if you had backed all the number ones you would have hit a 16/1 9/1 5/6  8/11

300 Saint-Cloud - Sweet Lady @ 50/1 e-w Bet365

Looks too big price to me, needs more but she is still progressing, 3 wins from 4 starts at he track and unexposed at this distance. Will probably need couple of the others to under perform which i think could happen.

Well Baratti beat it about a length but Sweet lady has a 4lbs swing so you would assume if form works they will be close today so if im right and you are right we should have a big F/C worth a quid of anyones dosh. chuck in alinista for the TC ?

RESULTS UPDATE

What a pity that Crimson Sand got beat by a head; had it won I would have been in profit for the month.  A win double returned 10.0 points and just one single win of 6.88 on Pateen.  I incurred a small loss of 1.12 which makes my MTD -15.44 and YTD -158.46.  I don't think I want to bet at Tramore in the future. I'm always apprehensive about betting in Irish races so I think I will try to avoid all of them.
