4.10 Newcastle: Letmestopyouthere @ 11/1 Bet365

Excusing the last below par effort over a trip beyond him, he should have a decent shot - certainly a better chance than 11/1 - judged on his penultimate run over 7f at Wolverhampton when half a lengths runner-up behind Dr Julius No. The two meet here again, with a two pound swing in the weights in favour of Letmestopyouthere. DJN was a convincing winner that day and might still have more to offer but that day at Wolverhampton Letmestopyouthere made a big move on the widest outside probably a bit too early while DJN got the run of the race. It's a competitive little race here but there is not as much between the favourite and my selection as the price suggest, I feel.

Musselburgh 2:00 Endeavor @ 12/1 Ladbrokes e/w thanks

Endeavor....from Dianne Sayer yard the old yin has had many a good time up here and makes the short journey from Cumbria up to Musselburgh , The 12yo is a C&D winner and has won 13 hurdle races and four chases from 2m to 2m 3f on ground varying from good to firm to heavy , He's won 3 times this season two chasing and one hurdle at Sedgefield over this distance good to soft when Miss Emma Sayer claiming 3lbs was in saddle ,

Emma when winning on him he's carried 97 or 95 and he goes today off 95 and Emma still gets here 3lb allowance, with him getting older they'll not be many good days left for him but with Emma mainly share the rides with Brian Hughes who's won twice on him this season and Emma once she'll be looking to draw level with Brian,

They've been trying cheekpieces and had them on twice in last 5 runs with one of those runs here in a chase and finished 2nd in November last year but last race 5 days ago at Kelso they were off and he was PU so back on here , I think he's getting a bit temperamental in his old age but worth a chance of place finish

Cheers lads thanks
