Roberts Star 7/4 BetBright

Interesting novice hurdle here with three of the 6 runners in with a chance but i'm keen to take on Trafalgar Rock from the Richard Newland yard. He's a flat horse who needs to sprint off a slow pace and i don't think he's got much scope for this game. My fancy is Roberts Star who has ran well in every race he has ran in so far. he won by 10 lengths last time out in a weak looking handicap but that gives him a chance on the bare figures and i think theres a lot more to com from this one this season.

220 Redcar - Jeany 1pt win @ 7/2 bet365

Has finished runner up behind a couple of useful types, who have been holding their own in group company and class 2 handicaps, so this class 6 looks a good opportunity to break the duck.

2.20 Redcar - Lady Molly @ 15/2 Skybet

This maiden is full of exposed looking types at the top of the market so I think Lady Molly is a great bet at 15/2. She looked green on debut getting no cover and hanging so can be expected to improve especially coming from the Dalgleish yard.

3.50 - Redcar - Altharoos - 12/1 - Hills - 0.5 ew

Bit worried about an apparent lack of pace here but Altharoos has been showing a few signs of a return to form of late with a close 5th over course and distance last time. 3 of his 6 wins have come on good ground which he gets today and a mile looks his best trip. Now running off 4lbs lower than his last winning mark and drops into a Class 4 race after largely contesting C3 and C2s.

2.30 Leic - Ornate - win at 10/3 bog betvictor

Conditions race over 5F

My horse is best in at the weights and is a 5F specialist whereas a couple of the others might be better over 6F

He was a decent juvenile, finishing 2nd in the Flying Childers but has struggled a bit this year. He's too high in the weights for handicaps but not good enough for group races. So these kind of conditions races below listed level offer his best opportunity

Pinning my hopes a bit on first time tongue tie.......
