2:50 Wetherby : Maggie Blue @ 25/1 bet365 e/w thanks Maggie Blue.....from Harriet Graham yard in the borders a small yard that's only got the six runners in training with Scotswell one of here best known horses that's brought in plenty of prize money through the years at yard , Harriet will be hoping her 7yo Maggie Blue can be a success to for yard, Maggie Blue has been successful in two hurdle races at 3m on good and good to soft ground, this season its had the 5 runs starting off well in October and November at Ayr a 2nd and a win both races over 3m.1/2f but next 3 races its failed to find the frame with its last run being 21 days ago when yard sent it back to Ayr for its first race this year after nearly 3 months break , The horse will have benefited for that run and coming back in distance should help as the yard will have done some stamina work and with Callum Bewley coming off horse to have young Dale Irving claiming 7lbs sees the horse down to a mark its produced good runs at before with it 2lbs less than last win

Re: Nap of the Day - Friday 27th March 2015 Newcastle 2.10 - Echo Springs (E/W, 12/1 Bet365) Won on debut in a bumper at Aintree last year and had one run since then in another bumper where He was 6th of 9 again at Aintree. He impressed enough in his bumper win that he was sold for100k and could be an interesting contender now sent over hurdles.

Re: Nap of the Day - Friday 27th March 2015 W2.55 Maggie Blue 22/1 Bet365 I picked this one out last night as a possible bet and it's encouraging that it's already been tipped on here (bluemal). I've missed out on the 25/1 but the early signs are that some money is coming for it which is also encouraging and it might well go off nearer to the 14/1 - 16/1 mark. The horse gets in off next to bottom weight and Dale Irving takes off a further valuable 7lb. Irving has much better stats than the jockey is replacing - he's won 9 from 59 this season whereas the replaced jockey is 10 from 138. Both the horses career wins were on this kind of ground over just a slightly further trip and both wins were described as "easily". Just 5lb higher here than the last of those wins, with a better jockey so the current price makes plenty of appeal.

Re: Nap of the Day - Friday 27th March 2015 415 New: Dark Dune 7/2 Hills/bet365 Missed the price messing about but really fancy tis Dark Dune today. Backed him when he won well from the front here in February on similar ground. He fell at the first last time out and now Brian Harding has been booked to deliver the goods. Its not a strong field and is only 3lbs higher than his 5 length victory here so is still reasonably handicapped.

Re: Nap of the Day - Friday 27th March 2015 2.40 newc- Have You Had Yours - win at 7/4 bog bet365 Handicap chase over 2 miles and half a furlong Poor race this. My selection ran OK over CD in a better race last time out and should appreciate this drop in class. Although he's not much good he has managed to win 3 times over fences, all at around this trip. Not particularly well handicapped being 8lbs above his last winning mark and that win was by a head but he has lost narrowly over 1lb lower so this mark might not beyond.......anyway, it's all relative to the others ! Gin Cobbler looks OK but his jumping is not that good and he looks hard to win with (1 win from 16 chases and that was in Hunter company). Been coming down and down in the weights but just when it looked like he was getting to a winning mark (beaten under 2 lengths last time) the handicapper has stuck him back up 5lbs. The other 2 might well take each other on up front which could suit the two market leaders, both of whom have a fair bit of stamina at this trip. A fastish pace though might put Gin Cobbler's jumping under pressure.

Re: Nap of the Day - Friday 27th March 2015 5:15 Lingfield Subversive runs here with a penalty after winning last time but isn't very appealing at 11/8 with Joe Fanning deciding not to ride at Lingfield and against a field of improvers. Hills and Dales just held on to win last month after heading off too quickly in a race which hasn't worked out well. He should improve but Culloden finished just 1L behind him that day and comes here with a huge 16lb swing in the weights. Culloden clearly didn't stay the extended mile last time and the shorter trip should be more up his street off a mark of 59 which looks very generous. He's better than that and Richard Hannon and connections have booked Cam Hardie who takes off a further 3. I can't believe Hills and Dales is currently 15/8 with Culloden available at 9/1. Culloden - 1pt Win @ 9/1 Ladbrokes
