As the tournament moves towards the end of the first week into the corridors of the knockout phase, expect matches to get more complex and open. I have seen a few too many players snatch victory from the jaws of defeat this week. Korda yesterday, what a narrow escape! Then there was that breathtakingly wonderful match with Shapovalov which I very much enjoyed. Cristian! what a player for the future. Her matchplay body language tells you of an unfinished story still in the making. I was also surprised how the two error machines Giorgi and Keys had so transformed their games in a short space. Keys is certainly dangerous and has a realistic chance. Her game is robust enough to bring the very elite of the game to their knees. She was a promise to the game that was meant to have happened many years ago. A late delivery is not out of the question.
Kasatkina vs linette No doubt Kasatkina is in the form of her life and she has started the year very well. I think she excels well on this surface aided by her very positive attitude on court and her sneaky ability to manipulate the trajectory of the ball constantly giving her opponents different looks. She is the kind of player that once you know her game, you know her game. She the becomes limited in that kind of matchup. I think Linette knows her game and knows it well. H2H is 2-1 Linette and they have all been recent matches. Kasatina has started this year playing many matches. I do not know how that will turn out in terms of how she will adapt physically. I just think Linette's beating of Sevastova in the first round is signal enough. I really want to pick Linette to win here. Verdict: Linette to win with 5.5 handicap @ paddy power
Kontaveit vs Tauson Kontaveit, resilient, tough, feisty and persistent and can be very hard to play. However I think this will be one of the matches of the tournament. I just have a feeling that Tauson will be up to the task in the groundstrokes dept and put Kontaveit under pressure. I strongly smell an upset here but I will put my tail between my legs and opt for +5.5 Tauson Paddy power.
Molcan vs Anjudar Molcan is the younger player here and the one more likely to go through to the next round. I think his preparation has been spot on and Icannot see a different result. good luck all!

He can't be 100% fit @delfino If he was he wouldn't have pulled out of his first match at the ATP Cup and his elbow wouldn't be strapped.

Iga Swiatek fired her coach Piotr Sierzputowski; WTA's coach of the year 2020 .
The new coach is Wiktorowicz, who used to work with A. Radwanska.

I think the odds over 2 on Kontaveit is a value. Swiatek is in a crisis, she plays mechanically, nervously, predictably, she often cries during matches because she is helpless. It is very strange because with her rich arsenal and athleticism she should constantly win. Unfortunately her taktical skills are very poor.
    H/H is 2:1 for Kontaveit.
I believe that her staff is too little experienced and can no longer help her.

The main mistake is backing him based on how he played against a servebot. I saw Isner in Cincinnati and his mobility was worse than usual, probably due to physical problems. I haven't seen any of these players here, but backing Brandon based on how good he was against Isner is not a good idea (Molcan is a completely different player).
In relation the other bet, Masarova's biggest weapon is her serve. The difference between her and Svitolina is big, but if she has a really good day with her serve she can destroy that handicap.

    Won
    Won
    Won
Won. Pouille was serving to win the match 3-1 but he choked. Ramos played better but he wasted 13 BPs (6-19) while Pouille converted almost every single one he had (3-7)
Void. Brady retired due to her foot injury. Raducanu has beat Voegele (LL) in 2 sets.
Really happy to announce that I have won my last 10 bets here (10/10 in the last 2 weeks!)
This one still alive (I'm very optimistic about this one). The odds have dropped. Cilic/Fokina/Isner out.
If I find some bets that I like I will post them.

Swiatek to beat Jabeur with at 1.72 with bet365
Swiatek said that she had no expectations for this grass season which obviously was a tactic to remain out of the radar in Wimbledon, and it seems it's working. She only played a couple of matches in Eastbourne, beating Watson and losing against Kasatkina. Here, she has destroyed Hsieh (6-4, 6-4), Zvonareva (6-1, 6-3) and Begu (6-1, 6-0). Jabeur is playing incredibly well, but I'm seeing a lot of similarities between her and Ostapenko. Both players had a lot of success on her preparation tournaments. Jabeur won in Birmingham while Ostapenko won in Eastbourne. Ostapenko destroyed Leylah but then she had a hard battle against Kasatkina (6-1, 3-6, 8-6), and it definitely took its toll on her. She was beating easily Tomljanovic but at the end of the second set her body and her mind said "enough". Jabeur had a hard battle against Muguruza and she even threw up before closing the match. I think Jabeur can follow the same steps than Ostapenko. She can be mentally and physically exhausted after that match. That's something I have seen several times on this sport ("after a big victory comes a big defeat"). These players only have played once before (Washington 2019) and the pole won. I think Swiatek still has a lot to give here, mentally and physically, and that's why I pick her for this match. She will be the fresher player.

I will add, that with her weight and style of play, she can easily get injured. And then it will be a heroic failure of an ambitious retiring hero

I think time has arrived that Federer will announce his retirement during wimbledon.
He can't beat any of the top players any longer, and in addition, any average player may upset him.
For me, both Federer and Serena are not anymore necessary to the sport. Despite i am Federer's fan, at the same time, i can not afford to see him  losing to anyone passes from his road.
If i find any bet about the legend's retirement, i will do it.
For Serena i don't bet anything, because i am 100% that she wont make any noise here.

I'd argue that Ash Barty is slowly becoming the dominant player in women's tennis - you may have noticed her making making every final this year? It's not luck.
Because a player is 50-1 or 500-1 does not make them automatic ''value'' at RG. There's a reason Donna Vekic or Jo Konta are 600-1 or whatever, and that reason is that they just aren't going to win a grand slam. It would be like North Macedonia (780.0s) winning Euro 2020. The players you've quoted - I mean, have you actually seen them play recently?
Finding value isn't as easy as ''well she's a big price, and 'Penko did win this that one time!''
I agree Swiatek odds seem short, but those odds based on how good her performances have been recently coupled with her dominance of RG less than a year ago. I do not think she's over-hyped at all.
It takes a LOT for someone to get past Barty, Swiatek or a fired up Sabalenka nowadays. most players are drawing dead or close to, and most of the 'big names' are in horrible form (Karolina Pliskova, Serena, Osaka, Kenin).
I honestly don't know where the value lies is in terms of the long odds this year. I would have said Halep, but she's pulled out. I would suggest Kvitova at 32.0 or Badosa at 40.0 (based on their draws) as dark horses.

Garcia's father is no longer her coach, which could be seen in her recent bad results. I haven't heard who the new coach is.
Kenin's father is out too. Bencic played in Madrid also without her father and fiancé being present.

Swiatek showed in the last matches against Alexandrova, Konjuh and Muguruza that her level is far from FO's level. She lacks tactical skills when playing against equally aggressive players. In her last game against poorly serving Siegmund she had 10 unused match balls in  the last game.
I'm a fan of Swiatek but I don't think she's actually playing well.

I believe that Tomova 3.2 against Zidansek should be an investment object as well as Badosa 2.2 against Kudermatova
Zidansek is not a tennis star, just ranked 93. Badosa has beaten many highly ranked players recently.
I do not expect complete silence here, but some comments
