So probably over £800 with optimum prices and staking! But let's not underestimate the role of luck and chance in hitting long runs. Even at the odds taken there's a degree of good fortune in going so far without a loser (unless Mr J is an absolute punting genius which can't be ruled out as yet). You can probably expect a loser every 25 bets or so on average. Given the extent to which better odds could be obtained that increases the chance that the current run could be down to a lot of luck. Better to take a decent chunk out than just carry on rolling the stake over until the inevitable loser hits.

I'd have stuck with this a bit longer personally, given how it's gone. Odds will need to be around the 1.5 mark. Never been a big fan of it myself (having given it a try on here). I can never rationalise the concept of having £10 on one bet and, say, £350 on another for no good reason. But plenty of people enjoy the challenge and I enjoy seeing people trying different approaches even when my every instinct screams "it will never work"!

Well that was good while it lasted, enjoyed that. Going to try something different and start again tomorrow. By something different I mean not doing over 0.5 goal. I like the idea of a £10-£500 in ten bets, what you reckon?

The option of taking your original stake out and then continuing is a good way to go. Financially with this route you don't lose, but it stays in your mind nevertheless, although it must feel better, only slightly, when the inevitable losing bet comes. It's all in the mindset, and that's where we all differ.

Have just done the math as I was curious - had you not banked anything up till now you would be on a total of £567.48 after bet 43 I get its hard to risk it when we all have bills to pay but makes you realise doesnt it how quick the profit does grow with serious money
