1.25 Lingfield

Picansort might be worth chancing as he looks a big price in this wide open affair. Not at his best the last couple of runs but is a much better horse on the AW, might be better over 5f but is effective over 6f. His last win around here was a really good win by nearly 4 lengths in March this year off a mark of 63 in a class 5 event, comes back to the AW in a class 6 event and off a mark of 65 a repeat of that effort will put him right into the mix with the visor back on today from a good draw.

Has a good record in class 6 events 2 wins and 7 placed efforts from 19 runs.

Southwell 13:45 Native Display @ 10/1 bet365 e/w thanks

Native Display......from Caroline Bailey yard was previously with Nicky Henderson until August this year, The 6yo has been successful in a hurdle race and a NH flat race at 2m on good ground and 3 place finishes from the 11 runs he's had when at Nicky Henderson yard ,

The new yard gave him a run a month after coming to yard but fell 3 out at Worcester over 2m 4f (good) in his first chase race , The yard are reverting back to hurdles today and yard had 64 days to work on him since that fall, There also having hood and tongue strap on for first time although the hoods been on before and there bring in Andrew Tinkler to ride horse as he was a regular for Nicky when he had horse , so hopefully a better outcome than last race,

12.45 Southwell - Foot the Bill 1pt win @ 15/2 paddypower

On a winnable mark and drops into class 5 so capable of winning this if at this best. Showed nothing on seasonal reappearance but hopefully will come on for that. Seems to like it at Southwell - 2 runs producing form figures of 1/2 off marks of 88 and 92. Runs off 90 here. 15/2 fair with doubts over so many of the others.

3.55 Fak - Mercian King - win at 11/4 bog wm hill

Handicap chase

my selection is a young horse at 5 years old and is still a maiden but has shown a bit of promise. Seasonal debut last time out and should come on for the run and has been dropped 3lbs. Had some decent form in France

the favourite is a veteran of 12 years of age making his seasonal debut and is entitled to need a run despite joining a top yard in the close season
