Re: Nap of the Day - Monday 20th October 2014 Plumpton 3:00 - Willy Be Lucky WIN @ 12/1 Bet Victor Has been off the track for a long time but if connections have him right for tomorrow, he is very well treated off a mark of 75. Ran in two handicaps previously off marks of 86 and 85 so will be interesting to see how he is after a long lay off. Yard are in form, Andrew Thornton is riding really well and looks worth taking on The Omen at that price who is up 10 pounds in the weights.

Re: Nap of the Day - Monday 20th October 2014 4.40 Pontefract - ARR KID EW @ 20/1 Bet 365 Came back from a break last time, and the yard are slightly confused by the poor run (quite possible the ground was too firm). Will come on for that, and he's dropped back to a mark of 70, 8 lbs below the mark he won off at Southwell. He'll get some cut in the ground again tomorrow, and the 20/1 is too big. He's run figures in the past that suggests 70 isn't beyond him, so I'm hoping the soft ground can see him go close tomorrow.

Re: Nap of the Day - Monday 20th October 2014 3.30 plum nebula Storm 7/2 @ pp bog Always like to back the Moore combo runners at plumton. Running off its lowest ever hurdle Mark and has his ground over a trip which I think will suit rather than over further. Seams to have everything in his favour. There's only a handful that can win this and jamie m rides this track better than most and I think he will go very close after winning its last race on the flat....

Re: Nap of the Day - Monday 20th October 2014 4.00 Plumpton - Romeo Americo win @ 7/2 Paddy Power Romeo Americo ran a good race lto to finish a close 2nd after a break of over 500 days on his chase debut - he should improve for the run and perhaps go one better. He has run off a mark of 130 over hurdles and finished 2nd in the Lanzarote at Kempton in 2013 so if he can run up to his old hurdle form he should be in with a shout here in what looks to be a close handicap.

Re: Nap of the Day - Monday 20th October 2014 P3.10 Tumblewind 1pt Win 14/1 Ladbrokes This horse is now running off its lowest mark since it last won under this jockey 6 runs ago. The horse needs a fast paced 5 furlongs to show its best and it should get that here. The trainer has used this jockey a few times lately when he fancies the horses chances and he is adept at landing the odd decent priced winner so this could be another one that he's targeted specifically for this race.

Re: Nap of the Day - Monday 20th October 2014 Plum 4.00: De Blacksmith 9/2 bet365/WHill Nice little handicap for novices and although i backed Azure Fly to win last time on his fencing debut i'm happy to take him on here off top weight. He can be quirky and not one to trust every time. De Blacksmith receives 7 lbs and knows his way around the Moore's local track Plimpton. He ran some fine races in defeat last season and remains a maiden over fences. He was second in this race last year behind Uxizandre and has is now 3 lbs lower and is still young enough to have some improvement in him and i expect him to be a few points higher than 120 by the end of the season.

Re: Nap of the Day - Monday 20th October 2014 15:40 Pontefract 1pt win Carry On Deryck @11-1 Coral Winner of his first race was then highly tried in listed company finishing last of four in the race won by the Dewhurst winner Belardo and down the field 6th of 7 in the Flying Scotsman at Doncaster won by Nafaqa. Today's opposition looks significantly weaker and he is taken to return to winning ways today.

Re: Nap of the Day - Monday 20th October 2014 3.30 plumpton Strong Conviction e/w 25/1 bet365 - keep coming back to this one as weird that dam struggled on soft yet won on good ground over the sticks so curious why they sent SC on heavy-soft first 3 runs over hurdles and lto was much better on fast ground and jumping well in the main and just looked like it couldnt keep up with those in front , this looks weaker on h.cap debut so im hopefull.
