Here are the odds for week 1 of Season 3 of our FREE Punters Lounge Football Tipster competiton 2023/24. You must use these odds for your bets (single, double or treble combination) which have been taken from the William Hill site this morning. Deadline is a strict 3pm (15.00GMT) Saturday for all bets, any later and your whole bet is disqualified and you count as a no show for the week. If you pick an earlier match you must post before kick off or that game will be discounted and your bet reduced. The season will run for 10 weeks and you must play at least 7 weeks or you are eliminated.
I'm setting up the Selection threads for Divisions now and will tag you all so you know which to post in.
Here's to a fun 10 weeks and hopefully getting back to a virtual profit again. Good luck everyone.

Also Overall Top 5 please send me your address so we can post out the PL merchandise (mug and pens) if you'd like it. If you're a previous winner feel free to tag it onto our last messages and just confirm if details are still the same. It takes a few weeks to get payments organised so please bear with us. Merchandise is shipped from our suppliers so may take longer - if you aren't in the UK we'll do our best to get them to you, but there are shipping restrictions from our supplier and unfortunately in some cases it might not be possible.

Room for a few more. If we get an influx we can go back to 6 Divisions and I'll split Division 5 across two. I have assumed that all those who busted after their all in bet would like to come back in and have automatically allocated you back to Divison 5. So new Divisions are below, but provisional for Division 5 in case we split.

We end the season with a week of only 6 winning bets and a massive overall loss, wiping nearly £1200 off our total bank! So very well done to Division 5 who found half of those winners and did actually make a profit.
A tough season for all of us, after the previous record breaking season I think we broke records the other way and every Division made loss! A quarter of us didn't manage to find a winner at all, a total of only 181 winners between us, and we end with just 20 players in the black and all of those will be in Division 1 for the new season.
Top of us all is @mickyftm32
and along with @Tiffy and @Cauncie the top 3 all quadrupled their bank, and 4th & 5th placed @Alley Cat Glover and @Larkin22 both trebled theirs. Those top 5 all came from Divisions 1 and 3, and the top finishers of the other 3 Divisions all made the top 10 finishers overall.
Both our leading number of winners contenders had a losing week so @mickyftm32 and @Gzeven end up on 7 wins from the 10 week run and will share the prize for Most Number of Wins over the season, micky playing with doubles and Gzeven trebles throughout.
WInner of the Highests Odds Win is @Tiffy with a brilliant 40.672 treble (4.4*3.3*2.87) in week 3.
@Kingdom for came so close this week with a 40.616 treble (3.4*3.6*3.4) that I'm going to award a suprise second place prize.
The new season starts this weekend and everyone who completed will be allocated a new Division based on finishing order. I'll invite those who busted 'all in' back into the bottom Division along with any new or rejoining players. I'll see how many runners we get to decide whether to go back to 6 or stick with 5 Divisions.
Overall table here and Division winners below. I'm going to lock the thread temporarily as I'll tag all the winners and put up payment instructions later tonight.

Final Result:
Oh Division of misfits, you had most winners this week and were the only ones to make a profit, very well done!
You've had the biggest shake up at the top with 2 new entrants forcing their way into the prizes with final week wins, and despite a win and 6 wins overall Scrumpy dropped down a place but remains in the prizes with Yossa keeping his hold on the top.
Division 5 had the lowest average finishing bank, but not the least winners. Although a lot of drop outs, as tends to happen in the bottom Division, you still ended up with most players and meriting your 4 places payout. All the top 4 ended in profit and will be in the top Division next season.

Final Result:
The first division to see a change at the top for the final results with Kingdom for finding a massive 40/1 winning treble to lift him from obscurity into 3rd place, with top 2 unchanged.
Division 4 had the lowest number of winners overall but not the biggest loss and has the most players ending up in profit. Top 5 will all be playiing in Div 1 next season, well done.

Final Result:
No winners for us this week but top 4 didn't over bet and maintained their positions. Bymatrix will be the only winner this season who isn't in profit, well played
, top 3 will get a promotion to Division 1 for the new season. Gzeven didn't finish with a win but still shares the highest number of wins over the season with 7.
We had the most winners overall with 40, but beaten only by Div 5 for the worst average finishing bank.
No drop outs, well done everyone. Can't believe I beat you all!

Final Result:
Top 4 unchanged! There was quite a margin between the banks before the week so even though Larkin managed the only win it didn't affect the positions. Micky failed to finish with a win but still shares the highest number of wins over the season.
The Division as a whole managed to make less of a loss than most
and had the second highest number of winners, so well done the elite! Top 4, who made a profit or ended quits, will be back in Div 1 for the new season to try again for the big money. I'll invite the Bustos to come straight back in the bottom Division.

Unfortunately I've had to adjust your bet size as it's half bank or all in from your £7 bank so you can't bet £5 here. I've taken it as default half bank £3.50 as you've not specified an all in.
