The Punters Lounge £150 added Poker League starts up tonight for MAY and will run for the next 4 weeks on Wednesday nights.
The £150 added by Punters Lounge is shared between the top 3 in the league at the end of the month. Games start at 8.10pm, with a 20min late registration period on top of this. All games are played in the PokerStars Home Games PL Poker Club.
The format is a NLHE 3000 chip tourney in Legs 1 & 2 and a 5000 chip NLHE for final leg. Leg 3 is our PLO Leg with 5000 chips.

> Leg 2 : Wednesday 15th May - NLHE 3000 chips
> Leg 3 : Wednesday 22nd May - PLO 5000 chips

Buy in is $5.50 per leg.
Your top 3 scores of the 4 legs will count towards your league total. We will be using the usual PL poker league format, which will be updated in this thread. (The PokerStars own league scores will not be used.) Formula is -Log(position/Entrants)x100
To help boost numbers overall and in particular in the final leg we are continuing the system of doubling the number of entries used in the calculation in leg 4 (**so if 10 entries the formula will use 20 entrants). This will increase the number of points available in the final leg to make it more competitive.
All members are welcome, however you must post in this thread if asked to let us know your forum username, otherwise your placings and scores cannot be included in the league. New players are always welcome to join in, so please spread the word and invite your friends to the forum so we can keep the weekly numbers up and remain viable.
£150 Added Value & Punters Lounge Merchandise
The £150 added will be split between the top 3 players of the league end, with £75 to the league champion, £45 to 2nd and £30 to 3rd. This will be payable via PayPal at the end of the league. Big thank you to Punters Lounge for the added funds.The league winner will also get Punters Lounge merchandise, which consists of our logo mug and pack of 10 pens. Unfortunately due to supplier shipping restrictions we may be unable to provide these to members who live outside of the UK.

Oh wow, I could see the game went on for about an hour longer than usual! Well done guys.
And the result has made a bigger shake up at the top of the league than I expected with top of the table Barry dropping out of the places along with 3rd place Simon despite a high finish. Leo takes the crown with a 1st, 2nd and 4th over the month
, Stephen McG's 4th place moves him up to 2nd overall after his first leg win, and Andy's win takes him into the 3rd place spot. Well done all, I'll arrange the prize money to be sent over on Paypal (along with last month's outstanding ones 
)

A win in the PLO leg for Barry and after taking 2nd place the week before he now takes over at the top of the table.
Top 2 have a little gap from the rest but are still very catchable and it's tight for 3rd place with a tie currently and the followers close by. All on the final leg tonight, which is a 5000 stack NLHE game. Starts at the usual 8.10pm with 20 mins added late registration. Multiplier in effect for extra points, and the more in the more points are available to catch the added money places.

Current holder of Highest Odds win is @Paperclip at 56.33 and he is our overall leader at the moment.
@akarsioti is unassailable for most wins on 9 wins out of 9. Can he make a perfect run.
Top 5 all have over £300 banks but plenty not far behind.

We have arrived at the final week of this year's competition, which means we will all be able to enjoy the end of the actual football season without any added pressure!
As it's the last week of our season please don't make the same bet combination as any other player has already posted in your Division (irrespective of stake), so you cannot preserve your position in this way. First to post has the advantage. Max bet is half bank unless your bank is £10 or less when you can go 'all in' if you wish. Everyone who completes the season is automatically in the bag when we restart for 2024/25 and will be allocated a new Division based on final bank total. Any all in losers in the final week will also automatically be allocated to the bottom Division next season if they wish to rejoin, so your places in the competition are secured.
Deadline as always is 3pm on Saturday even if you are picking later starting games. Don't miss it!
