BET365 25% WINNINGS BOOST ON YOUR BET BUILDER

Recommended Posts

Today's game is Chelsea v Real Madrid. Chelsea two down from the first leg, I'm not sure I trust them to turn it round and they could end up leaving gaps at the back.

Real Madrid >1 goal, Chelsea >1 card and Vinicius Junior >1 shot at 13/5

Same bet is 3.8 with 888 for anyone who doesn't qualify for the 25% boost. :eyes

Used my fiver freebie from last night with Hills on same bet but with Vini 1 SoT rather than 2 shots at 23/10.

@MCLARKE Get your bet up in a timely manner, none of this waiting for your horse bets to be weighed in palaver! ;)

Hills have a double "your odds" selection, 7/1 for Real Madrid to win and Benzema, Vinicius and Felix all to have a SoT. It's not as clear cut as some examples but I'd say it just about makes it a value bet.

I've also done Osimhen to score and btts = yes at 27/10 in the other game. (No need to go for 3 legs when you're not tilting at an imaginary bonus!)

I see this bet builder malarkey is very popular, Not had a serious football bet for years i gave it up when they started to murder the odds, example Half time full time used to be generally away team to be winning half time home team full time 28/1 Home team winning half time away team full time 33/1. Then it went 28/1 25/1 Just had a look at the Man city game and its got even worse it has shrunk further 20/1 & opposite 22/1. Put in context when England came back against Germany in that famous game, England were 80/1 to be losing half time winning full time i accept that was an outlier. Aside from that specific market the odds even for win lose and draw have been murdered in the last 25 years and because the youngsters were not around back the they don't even realise how bad the value is now compared to back then. So i wont be coming back to football betting any time soon 😁

If you mean the Bayern game then it's best price 25/1 Home-Away and 30/1 A-H as per Oddschecker and 28 and 30 on BF.

I'm not sure I agree that the odds have been "murdered" (and I speak as someone who has placed 1000s of football bets every year for as long as I can remember, going back to shop coupons days). Bottom line is that you're betting into a much more competitive market now with a much lower over round than you would have been in the days when you had about 5 or 6 shop coupons to go at. If one price has shortened then another has been edged out to accommodate it.

What has happened is that the pricing has become much more automated and accurate. Back in the day when the correct score and halftime-fulltime prices were on a chart that you had to look up there were times when that price might be wrong, e.g. 100/1 for "any unquoted" score or that 28/1 and 33/1 you refer to might have been plain wrong for certain games. Also, if a firm went up with a wrong price about a certain team on their coupon they'd probably stand the price once it was printed where as now the price moves in the shop as quickly as it does online. Certain edges have evaporated over time but plenty of new ones have arisen to take their place.

They might be more accurate but I don't think they've been murdered. The typical overround for wdw on a shop coupon in the old days was around 110%. Looking at the Chelsea game tonight firms are betting to around 106%.

You've done well enough by specialising on racing but as someone who chose "the other path" I'd have to say that whilst things have changed over the years and certain avenues closed down there's been no shortage of ways to win betting on football (and that's without reference to spread betting).

Was reminiscing some more while eating my tea! I'd agree they started "murdering the prices" in the sense that it used to be the case you could study the coupon during the week, pick your bet out and put it on on the Saturday and still get the printed price. As they got more automated you'd find 2 or 3 of the prices were cut. Annoyingly they tended not to tell you there were price changes and just give you your slip back. There were a few times I made them void the bet.

I also recalled the days when you could only bet minimum trebles for draws and aways and fivefolds if you included a home selection! The they allowed you to bet singles on televised games and do a double if one of the games was on TV. I imagine the youngsters would struggle to get their heads round that concept. :)

Overall I'd say we're better served now with the ability to bet singles on any game and on any market but there were certain advantages back in the shop, coupon and charts days (before the internet came along and blighted our lives)!

Super boost tonight is Benzema + Junior > 0.5 goals, 20/21 to 7/4

Sorry to look like the world's biggest pedant but that's SoT rather than goals (would have been a shocking prices for goals). Sky Bet doing a double up of Benzema 2+ SoT and Junior 1+ at 3/1 which looks ok. Not bothered as it would be a 50p job for me.

@LEE-GRAYS I noticed that Hills were best price for the red card in all 4 CL games (365 in 2 I think). I had a £1 freebie that had to be used on an acca so I stuck it on all 4 at odds of 830/1! Decided to play the doubles and trebles for a bit of added interest so I'll be cheering the aggro on with you.

Let the cards start flying 💰

Have they credited both of them with a SoT? Junior just on one shot (off targe) so far on Who Scored.

They had but now seem to have corrected it and hace it as a loser. I must admit I was a bit surprised when they originally credited it.

It's happened before with BET365.

Shouldn't count my chickens I suppose.

Ouch. Can’t tell you how many times I see a goalscorer bet land then be chalked off by VAR or credited as an own goal!

Needed another shot from him myself in that game. The 7/1 double up bet was voided though due to Felix not starting. Profitable night thanks to the last gasp goal for Osimhen landing the bet in the other game.

Looks like Vini was credited with a SoT target by Opta but it was subsequently chalked off on the basis that the ref pulled play back for a free kick based on something that happened prior to the shot. The firms have had a lot of stick for it on Twitter, especially 365. A reminder that some of the elements in a bet builder are subjective to a degree and you won’t always be happy with the way they’re settled.

I don't lose any sleep over it, generally BET365 are quite good, when a horse is disqualified they usually pay out on the original winner as well as the promoted horse.
