12.30 Chelmsford

Fairly poor event, Jazri comes from the inform Bradley yard and won over this CD last time out little bit out of knowhere that was also a career best so a 6lb penalty could be more than enough to stop him going in again. Capelena is lightly raced and cold have more to offer now switched to handicap company especially on the back of a much better effort last time out over a mile, this clearly demands.

Kristal Hart won over CD on penultimate start and didn’t go on from that next time out when only 5th off revised mark 2lb higher, no obvious excuses and she isn’t the most reliable so obvious risks attached.

Attain looks the best option in this race he has dropped to a workable mark now 4lb below his last winning mark around Lingfield in July. Much better effort last time out when getting no run whatsoever turning in and the front 2 were just able to get away but when the gap appeared he moved through nicely chasing home the useful yard stick in Thermal Column, that was over this CD and gets to run off the same mark and if the gaps appeared this time he must go close in the same form.

1pt win Attain 10/3 VC

1.40 Hunt - Alizee Javiles - win at 5/2 bog Ladbrokes

novice hurdle

Only 3 of these look to have much chance

Henderson's runner carries a penalty for winning what looks a poor race at Ffos Las and the worst of the 3 on bumper form

The current favourite is Grand Turina who won a bumper at Wetherby fairly easily and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th have all won since. That looks decent form but she hasn't run for nearly a year, hasn't encountered soft ground or a RH track. Might be the most promising of these but could be worth taking on today

My selection has some CD form having finished 3rd in a Listed bumper here and before that had won at Ludlow. Half sister to Grand national hero Mon Mome so should be suited by the step up in trip/

210 Huntingdon: Fletchers Flyer 5/4 Skybet/Coral

Tough call here between Fletchers Flyer and Value At Risk and the Ben Pauling trained Drumacoo isn't completely out of it either.

I'm a touch worried about the Skelton horses at present, their winning run seems to have been blunted recently and one or two have ran well below par and also i reckon Value At Risk would be better on a sounder surface.

Fletchers Flyer should have won over fences by now, i'm sure connections will be a shade frustrated that he could only finish 3rd last time out and looks a big one-paced stayer at present. One thing he won't mind and thats the ground here, i'd be more confident on a testing track but he has won at Wincanton which is similar and the ground here can be very testing once at times so that should play to his strengths.

1.20 - Wolves - Repeat Offender - 14/1 - BetVic

Repeat Offender started handicap life off a mark of 82 in July last year in a good Class 4 even at Ascot after winning on debut over C & D. Hasn't progressed in 6 starts since then and as a result runs off a 12lb lower mark here today. On of the most promising claimers around Josephine Gordon takes off a further 7lb so this horse surely must be competitive here off what is effectively 19lbs lower than original handicap mark. Has been campaigned in some pretty tough races and drops into a Class 5 here today for the first time since the winning debut.

2.00 Chelmsford - Fantasy Gladiator @ 16/1 BetVictor

Beaten just 3 parts of a length 3 starts back in a race over course and distance which has worked out really well. He's now a pound lower after two runs below par but those races looked more competitive than this and with Rawlinson taking a valuable 3lbs off for the first time I can see the selection going well here.

Huntingdon 14:40 Iftiraaq @ 33/1 totesport , betfred e/w thanks

Iftiraaq......from Seamus Durack yard the 5yo has only had the ten rules races and this season he's only had two races over hurdles which happened last year a win November at Leicester in novice hurdle 1m7½f good to soft where he was shaken up inside run in to win by 3/4 lengths ,

His other race came 34 days ago again at Leicester again over the same distance as before but heavy condition this time and although running well he finished 3rd with Conor O'Farrell in the saddle for both races ,

The yard goes again with same jockey and headgear and cheekpieces on horse
