And with the ground showing as 'heavy' this two and a half mile trip on a fairly testing track could catch a few out and make previous form unreliable for today My selection has the looks of a staying chaser so perhaps no surprise that he was beaten around 12 lengths in each of his two minimum trip, good ground, bumpers This test should be much more to his liking assuming he's fit enough after a summer break Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He kicked off by falling twice in points when holding every chance in both races. He duly won next tim out and then came over to England. Started off by running a cracking third at Doncaster on his hurdles debut but although he ran well after that he never really built on it. Always going to be a chaser and now gets the chance on a very nice racing weight, he's on a mark of 116 and i'm sure he will be higher than that by the end of the season. Latest run can be discounted over 2m. Drops into a class 4 for the first time today and this "in between" trip could suit. Trainer in decent form with 2 winners from last 6 runners. Has been hurdling for over 2 years and his last flat run was back in September 2013 when 4th (beaten 2 lengths) in a Class 5 at Goodwood. She is on a very capable mark, her last win was over this CD off this mark.
