Weth 3.50 - Foundation Man - win at 8/1 bog bet365

decent handicap chase, class 3 over 19 furlongs

Won this race last year off a 5lb lower mark. Like today he was coming off a few months break. He also ran well on his only other visit to the track, beaten under a length again after a break. So Wetherby fresh seems a god combination !

Yard hitting form with 4 winners from last 7 runners

Interesting to see how Kauto Stone does having dropped a long way down the weights and running in a handicap. A dual Grade One winner and he's still only 9 years old. Hasn't run yet this year but ran in 4 grade one races last year including the Tingle Creek, Ryanair and the 2 Ascot grade 1 races.

4.10 NOTTINGHAM : Mica Mika @ 14/1 Skybet win thanks

Mica Mika.....from Richard Fahey yard since the 7yo had those 3 wins in a row early this year its saw his ratings jump from 70 up to 91 and from running in class 4 races to class 2 but drops back to class3 today ,

He has won ten races from 7f to 1m 4f on ground varying from good to firm to soft and on the all-weather, He showed 17 days ago he was running into form at Epsom 1m2f GS when he made move to lead inside final furlong only to run out of steam in last 100 yards and one pace to line to finish 2nd,

The yard will have worked on a bit more stamina for him to see out race and they change jockey to Jack Garritty who on both rides he's had on horse he's finished 3rd and 2nd hopefully finish it off 3rd time lucky

1645 not cosmic chatter 20/1 b365

Higher win sp average for Sullivan than usual. Cosmic chatter has only won 3 races all on good, recent run on soft was 2nd placed out of 11 on 5 furlongs at the end of July priced 9/1. Short trip seems to suit better, on 5f strike rate is actually 20%. each way would be better but I am going for the win

Never got the best of starts here last time out and with only the two starts on his CV fully deserves another crack, she pretty much fell asleep in the stalls on 21st Sep and when the race got going Adam Kirby had pretty much accepted the possibility of any take home pay was gone.

She returns again over same C&D and if she gets a better take off out the 9 trap might be a lot closer up front when it matters, money also came for her last time out and she was backed from 10/1 into 8's, a few make their debut and her two starts might just give her another slight edge unless something is hiding from the big boy camps.

Ted Durcan is not a bad judge around here and he makes the trip for just the 2 rides, he's in this named race and then chills out before the last.

3.50 Wetherby - Kauto Stone win @ 10/1 Bet365

It's been 536 days since his last race but, as Trotter has rightly pointed out, on past form he looks interesting having run in 4 grade 1s and the Topham in 2014. His form did tail off towards the end of the 2013/14 season, although I don't think his 20l 6th behind Sire De Grugy at his best was too bad, which means he now has a handicap mark of 134 which is well below anything he has had before. Therefore on that mark he gets into this which is his first non-graded race since his days in France. Since the 13/14 season he has switched yards and has had the break so hopefully that might rejuvenate him and help him recapture some of his old ability. He's obviously a risky bet and winning this won't be an easy task conceding weight all round, after such a long break, but if he can run close to his grade one winning best then he will have a good chance in this. He's also won fresh after breaks of 244 and 204 days but never anything like 536.

5.15 Nottingham - Humour

14/1 with William Hill

Mrs Dunnett's 4 y.o. is a gelding who has run 15 times and won once. This will be its second run since a break in early June. Needed the last race and now down 2lb. in the handicap with A Kirby back in the saddle. This race is down a grade since its last. Kirby has ridden the horse three times finishing 1st, 2nd and 4th. Hood retained and an improved ride on the cards. A live outsider!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

350 Wetherby: Village Vic 11/4 bet365/PP

Good card at Wetherby today and plenty of southern raiders trying to steal the cash. Philip Hobbs should get his share with his two runners and i like Village Vic who looks ideal for this seasonal debut on perfect ground, right trip and a track that will suit well.

Very good hurdler at his best (6th in Betfair Hurdle, rated 134) and has only had five chases so plenty of improvement in him yet. Ran a shocker last time out on sticky ground so we can ignore that and i reckon he can improve on his mark of 125. Has won first time out before so no worries on the fitness score either.

4.10 - Notts - Lahayeb - 5/1 - BetVic BOG

Highly tried at Nottingham this year with his last 4 races all being here and form reads 1312 so that course's galloping setup clearly suits this horse. Carries bottom weight here and runs off 85 which is the same mark he ran off last time when beaten a nose here just a week ago.

N3.00 St Georges Cross 25/1 Stan James

This trainer's been in good form in the last week or two and it's interesting that he's booked Fergal Lynch for the horses first attempt on softer ground. It could be a canny ploy by the trainer since the horse have been racing on ground other than soft thus far and as a result, the horses mark is now 5lb lower than its original nursery mark. High drawn runners are often favoured here in soft ground so the draw of 13 of 16 could be a good one.

9.15 Kempton

Typical winter classified race with plenty of dead wood in the race. They can occasionally throw up a strange result but normally the key to these is select the horses which are in form and showing something for all they find winning hard one has to win!

Candesta may be the answer to this race kept to the AW these days and made a promising return to the surface last time out at Chelmsford when 3rd off a mark of 56 well drawn in stall 1 to sit prominent again. That was his first run since May so is entitled to come on from that.

1pt win Candesta 10/3 skybet

Nottingham 13:30 Marmajuke Bay @ 9-1 Paddy Power

Showed a little promise when finishing midfield on debut run at Ascot on similar ground to today's race. Finished 3,1/2 lengths in front of decent 2yo Fang in that race and with likely improvement for that first run looks a decent e/w chance but for the purposes of the competition I will go for the win.

4.45 Nott - Elusivity @17 Skybet

The horse is 25lbs below his last win over 5f  on soft ground in 2012 in a class 3 company

Dropping back to Class 4,  0-85 today with S W Kelly on board who has done OK this horse on turf

Today going is Good to Soft (Soft in places), plenty of peace and at 16s  I will take my chances.

3.50 Wetherby  CARIGDHOUN  isinteresting off a mark of 130 and with the stable in decent form.  Will need to be on his game and it's a little concerning after pulling up last time, but had a break and if returning in decent form, can go well at a decent price.

1pt win 16/1 Totesport BOG
