Jimmy2shoes
Re: Nap Of The Day Comp - Sunday 1st March 2015 Just the one sole runner for trainer Mr John Quinn, its almost 4 grand for the winner then a big drop down for the places so he'll be very disappointed if his 4yr old filly cant strike and do the business. She only has the one win on her CV from 13 starts that being at Musselburgh, that win was back on the 16th Jan and if she can produce anything like that run she wins. Jockey Brian Hughes has always been high up on my fav jockey list and he gets the leg up for the first time. 3:40 Sedgefield - Kashstaree. 1pt Win Bet @ 7/2 Paddy Power ''BOG''
santos_
Re: Nap Of The Day Comp - Sunday 1st March 2015 Sedgefield 3.10 - Houndscourt (1pts win, 3/1 BetVictor) Most of these are hard to fancy on current form, King Of Glory ran well yet again without winning but that was just yesterday and it's a very quick turn around to be confident he can back up and win here so I've sided with Houndscourt. He has won on his last two visits here (and placed 3rd his only other start at the track) so likes it around here and should give another good account. Dund0n
Re: Nap Of The Day Comp - Sunday 1st March 2015 2.30 Huntingdon - Bertenbar win @ 7/2 Betfred Bertenbar ran a good race over C&D last time out to finish third after a break of almost two years. He returns to the course on the same mark and despite now being an 11 year old he should strip fitter for the run and could improve on it and go a couple of places better. This race is no stronger than his last one so any improvement should see him go close.

He won by 19 lengths over this C&D two years ago and looks overpriced in such a small field.
Trotter
Re: Nap Of The Day Comp - Sunday 1st March 2015 4.30 Hunt - Top Man Marty - ew at 16/1 bog wm hill Maiden hurdle My selection won a bumper at Thurles at the end of last year looking like a stayer on the soft ground After that he's run under a penalty at Warwick and in a decent novice hurdle at Fakenham. Was prominent in the Warwick race until outpaced late on, todays longer trip should suit Today looks a stiffer test on softer ground than at Fakenham and looks a much easier race than the last one in which he finished 4th to some 130s rated horses

BillyHills
Re: Nap Of The Day Comp - Sunday 1st March 2015 430 Huntingdon: Boîte 5/2 Coral Don't normally back horses on their hurdles debut but was looking for something to oppose the Kim Bailey horse who i think is over rated and worth taking on. We have two choices now that Rock Of Ages is out, its either Inner Drive from the King yard who was brushed aside when odds on in a bumper when last seen over 300 days ago or the selection Boîte who has an excellent 3rd to Leading Light at Ascot in the book when trained on the level. His form did deteriorate after that but is still rated 86 on the flat which transfers to around 125-130 over jumps and thats good enough for any average novice race here. Greatrex trains and McCoy rides so the signs are good enough.

robertob
Re: Nap Of The Day Comp - Sunday 1st March 2015 Greyville 12.30: Graduation Plate - Kochka @ 4/5 Sportingbet The 2013 Champion 2 year old Kochka is on his way to find back to his old best after a long injury lay-off. His comeback run over 1.200m earlier this month was excellent given his break of 18 month. He finished a fine runner-up and badly needed the outing, according to his trainer. Kochka won back summer 2013 the big Grade 1 Champion Stakes and surly has bigger targets on his mind this season than an ordinary Graduation Plate, also he'll soon step up in trip to a mile again I suspect. But on his second run, he should have way to much for this lot even over this sprint trip, given the improvement one would expect. from run to run. Even if he may not quit yet be as good as his 105 rating, he is meeting some mid-70 rated individuals here, with one exception, of 88 rated Nineteen Fourteen. He's a decent handicapper & consistent but only one win in 16 starts which came in maiden company, means he shouldn't have enough on the plate to be a real threat to Kochka. Kochka is rightly the odds-on favourite, however he is not short enough with Sportingbet, and is a 1/2 chance on my tissue, therefore I think this price is actually quite generous.
