Re: Nap of the day sunday 22nd february Naas 4:20: Allied Victory @ 14/1 betvictor e/w thanks Allied Victory.....from M F Morris yard the 6yo has been successful in a hurdle race and a Beginners Chase at 2m 4f and 2m 6f on good and soft - heavy ground Since that Beginners Chase win at Thurles 2m 6f in October last year they gave it another 5 races where it struggled in grade 1 novice chases with a high mark of 127 which they've saw its ratings tumble down with poor runs to 118 in its full handicap chase for today, Jockey Bryan Cooper rode it in that win at Thurles and only rode it one more time in next 5 races but yard bring him back in today and hopefully find a frame finish

Re: Nap of the day sunday 22nd february Naas 3.20 All Hell Let Loose (4/1 ladbrokes) If non runner Southwell 2.30 Molko Jack All Hell Let Loose was 2nd beaten 3.5 lengths at Punchestown last time out with Amninabad well behind, but 2 runs previously was 2nd to Nichols Canyon beaten only 5 lengths. That probably means that Willie Mullins has a pretty good idea of the threat he possesses, but I still think that Max Dynamite will need to be a bit smart to turn him over

Re: Nap of the day sunday 22nd february 2.50 Naas: Champagne James @ 13/2 Betfred I was pretty sweet on Champagne James's chance at Leopardstown last month, but it turned out that things happened a bit too fast for him over 2m 1f on rather decent ground. That was his Handicap debut after he was a good second in a Novice chase at Fairyhouse before where he caught my eye initially. He's a big strong horse, made for chasing and hasn't shown his true potential yet. Rated at 126 he could be exploiting this mark today, stepping up back to 2m 4f in soft conditions. This race is hotter than the last one, but as a result he is on a good weight, much in contrast to the big top weight he had to shoulder lto. I'd expect him to go really well today as he looks still overpriced, despite prices already falling.

Re: Nap of the day sunday 22nd february Naas 4:20 - Fahamore WIN @ 14/1 SkyBet/SJ Hasn't been seen for nearly a year but having his first handicap chase today he is interesting off this mark. He stays this far, was 2nd at Cork on his only try over the trip, and had a hurdle rating much higher than his chase mark today. McManus owns so would like to see some money,

Re: Nap of the day sunday 22nd february 3.00 Southwell: Burtons Well 3/1 WH Thought this horse won with plenty of authority on his debut at Newton Abbot. I don't think he was expected to go so well first time out being out of Venetia Williams yard so must improve for that and looks a very decent type. Obviously a chaser in the making so these hurdles at Southwell will suit him well. Has the Ferguson horse to beat but he was put in his place by Fascino Rustico last time out and is not anything special. Burtons Well runs here to see if he's up to running in either of the festivals and hopefully will be able to carry his penalty.

Re: Nap of the day sunday 22nd february Naas 3.20 - Max Dynamite - win at 7/4 bog betvictor Grade 2 novice hurdle My selection is the least exposed of the runners with just 2 hurdle runs.......won his debut by 6 lengths then finished a well beaten 2nd to possible the best novice hurdler around at the moment Was a decent flat horse in France.......beaten a length in a group 2, 8th in the French derby, 8th in the GP de Paris They appear to believe that his future is as a stayer so he should be suited by this stiff uphill finish at the minimum trip. Acts on soft Although he's the least experienced he comes from the Mullins yard. The fact that he's straight into grade 2 company after a couple of runs suggest they think he's pretty good.

Re: Nap of the day sunday 22nd february 5.00 southwell Isla Di Milano ew 16/1 betvictor Whittington stable in good form at turn of the year with 2 wins and a place from 7 runners and have just the one today. 1/8 in bumpers so not overly prolific but this one fetched a fair sum for 42000 as a 3yo. No raced siblings and dam unraced also but on dams side half sister native mission won on flat then rated in 140s , Jack Doyle rated 140s over fences , btn 16+L in a bumper and also Joss Naylor who won on debut in bumper and won 2/3 in that sphere and rated 140 so looks like its from a decent enough family

Re: Nap of the day sunday 22nd february 2.00 southwell norman bates is interesting on handicap debut, as shown next to nothing in 3 rules starts, but could show a great deal more now upped markedly in trip and into a handicap for the first time. andrew thornton a good jockey booking and this ground isnt a concern, so in a race full of ifs, buts and maybes, i fancy the chances of nb to show improvement today and go well. 0.5pts ew 16/1 skybet bog
