Re: NAP of the day - Tuesday 2nd September Goodwood 3:30 - George Bowen @ 10/3 Betfred This Fahey horse finished a close 5th in a hotter race than this at Glorious Goodwood last time out, behind Son Of Africa. He did best of those drawn high that day which bodes very well coming here. Ryan Moore has been booked to ride too which has to be a big plus. He won on debut at Carlisle, is still very lightly raced and has to be taken very seriously in such a small field.

Re: NAP of the day - Tuesday 2nd September 3.05 Carlisle: Waffle 4/5 BetVic Waffle is a different class to these and should be more like 4/7 than 4/5 so represents a bit of value despite his recent lack of form. He did run ok at Hamilton in a claimer and todays conditions are much more in his favour, ground wise and weights. If he doesnt win today he should be retired.

Re: NAP of the day - Tuesday 2nd September 15:05 Auteuil: MONSIEUR PLAYBOY @ 7/2 Paddy Power Earlier on the card at Auteuil (Paris, France) today, in a race with all the runners making their debut over hurdles, Mrs. Pia Brandt-trained MONSIEUR PLAYBOY (1) looks the most likely winner, as he has the best titles on Flat and is officially the highest rated in the field. The booking of David Cottin boasts confidence.

Re: NAP of the day - Tuesday 2nd September 2.55 GOODWOOD (Class 5 - 1m2f Maiden Stakes) SOVIET COURAGE @4/6 (bet365 #BOG) Rated 76 but recorded a RPR of 86 lto when 2nd by less than a length behind Long Cross (OR of 90) in a similar race at Newmarket but on softer ground. Good to soft will suit him definitely better and despite a very nice pedigree and the fact she's coming from a top yard I don't think his main opponent Too The Stars can be at the same level, not today at least. Chances are really big (I think 2 on 3 at least), congrats on corky and everybody who got him at a nicer price. It's Moore, Buick and Atzeni all in one in a 6 runners maiden, wow.

Re: NAP of the day - Tuesday 2nd September Goodwood 5.40 Foxhaven (16/1 bet365 bog) 0.50 points e/w In his hey day this 12 year old was running in and winning class 1 races. Nothing in this race today has won a race above class 5 so I don't think he'll need to have retained much of his ability to figure here and think that even at his pension age is well worth an each way go especially at minimum odds of 3/1 a place

Re: NAP of the day - Tuesday 2nd September Hamilton 5:00 : Alexandrakollontai @ 8/1 Betfred ew Thanks I was going for Salvatore Fury but we had a bit of overnight rain in this part of Scotland and that will probably see Salvatore Fury pulled out after the first race as it does its best work on (good to firm so my pick is........... Alexandrakollontai.....from Alistair Whillans yard the 4yo is a C&D winner here in May (good) over this distance and its also won at AYR (soft) and last win was 3 races back at Carlisle 7f (good to firm) followed by 2nd here over 6f and last race at Newmarket 7f (soft) , So it can handle any surface and with the going (good to soft) today and revering back to 6f in may well be in the mix as its been running well , Jockey Julie Burke claiming 3lbs who's the regular jockey on horse is in saddle today and is still off same mark as Newmarket race
