I´m not asking @StevieDay1983 today about his Bluebirds. I´m taking them today. They have impressed me with 4-0 Win against Luton at Weekend and they had played the much easier Game at Weekend, then Huddersfield. In Weeks now with tough Fixtures in few Days can be this important. Yes Huddersfield impressed also with Win against M´brough. But i think they are now little bit overperforming in Offensive, with scoring 3 last Game and 3 at Stoke last Week. Hope that they didn´t continue that today...  Also Cardiff with not that badest H2H against Huddersfield.
I´m also today on Bristol City, can´t belive that they will Lose again today and with QPR i think they have an opponent where they can Grab something today. Also i take Brentford with a little bit more of Stake. They now finding his Form right Now and with a Game in Rotherham i think they can continue that Form. Rotherham with 1 Point at Weekend against Bournemouth but as i said, such Games are intensive and it´s hard to belive that they can do this again. Also maybe they have 1 Eye at Weekend game where they play important Game at Coventry, where they can make Points against direct Opponent against Place out of Relegation.

For sure, but they are now in different Sittuation. Thinks with New Coach must be sorted New - New Ideas, New Tactics and so on. And Boston isn´t such a Bad Team. If they are Momentum where Gloucester isn´t that good in Form - it is now.

May only have had the 1 winner over the weekend, but when that winner is 18/1 it still meant it was a profitable weekend. Chorley were superb and fully deserved the victory and did it the hard way coming from a goal down as well. It was frustrating not to get one of the others over the line and apart from Darlington they were all close to landing the victory. Back to league action this week and I have 4 bets in the National League and 1 in the National League North.
    Kings Lynn v Bromley
Bromley went through last month unbeaten and have only lost 2 games in the league all season. They looked in good shape on Saturday when drawing with a bang in form Wrexham side. I think they will be too strong for a Kings Lynn side who have struggled when they have played the better sides. They did beat Woking which was a fair effort, but otherwise they have beaten Maidenhead when they were poor at the start of the season, Barnet and then Dover last week. They struggled against Portsmouth on Saturday in the FA Cup which wasn't a great surprise. The draw does concern me slightly as Bromley have drawn 3 of their last 5, but they are the stronger team and I think there is value in the price.
    Solihull Moors v Hartlepool
Solihull were really good against Morecombe on Saturday and they really should have put the game to bed in the first half. Their manager reckons that their enforced Covid break stopped them from winning and that could well be the case given they had extra time. That is the one concern for me here especially as Hartlepool didn't play on Saturday, but I do think there is value in the price as Solihull are looking good this season. Hartlepool were poor last week against Barnet as well.
    Wealdstone v Torquay
As mentioned below Wealdstone have lost their keeper after he was recalled by Luton. It is worth checking out his double save against Notts County last week as well. 10 days ago I backed Sutton to beat Wealdstone and after they went 2 up early on it should have been game over. Indeed they could have had 4 or 5 by half time. Quite how it ended up 3-3 after that I don't know, but I said at the time I felt Wealdstone are in a false position and they were really put to the sword by Notts County last week. It is no fluke that Torquay are top as they are looking really good so far this season and they could easily stay there come April. Wealdstone will no doubt be attacking again and Torquay should be able to take full advantage of the chances they will get due to this. They should never have been odds against.
    Yeovil v Eastleigh
Eastleigh have only lost once this season in the league and it is hard to see why they are such a big price to beat a team who have yet to win. Granted Eastleigh's defeat was against the team just above Yeovil in the table, Dover, but apart from that they have done well. Yeovil are really finding things tough and they had to play 120 minutes against Stockport on Sunday. That will be tough although it is worth pointing out that Eastleigh refused to move the game to Wednesday night so they could gain the advantage of the fact Yeovil played on Tuesday. Probably not ideal that happened as it might spur the home side on, but even so Eastleigh have a better chance than the odds suggest.
    Gloucester v Boston
I should have opposed Gloucester on Saturday and they deservedly lost 2-1 to Farsely. As much as I wasn't Rowe's biggest fan, they did look rudderless at the weekend and lacked ideas. Again injuries, suspensions and losing Asante didn't help matters. It is still unclear if any of the injured will return although I have been told ex Boston player Whittle is likely to play. Like Solihull, Boston suffered for not having played for a while due to Covid on Saturday. They took the lead at Fylde, but then lost out 2-1. That was a tough first game back, but if City are weakened and play like they did on Saturday then there will be only one winner as Boston are a really good side.
    Bromley 1pt @ 13/10 with William Hill
    Solihull 1pt @ 13/10 with William Hill
    Torquay 3pts @ 11/10 with William Hill
    Eastleigh 1pt @ 9/4 with William Hill
Boston 1pt @ 15/8 with Betway if you can get it or 8/5 with Betfair & Betfred

I´m going today with Both2Score in Leicester-Fulham Game. Leicester with great Offensive, but seems to be that they have some Probs actually in Defensive. So when you talk about the strengh of Fulham, then i think you must say that there Offensive is much more picked up with quality, then his Defensive. So they can score here i think.
    Both2Score - Yes @ 1.80 2/10 bet365
Other Bet i made is in WestHam-Aston Villa Game and made by bet365-Bet Builder. I think both teams now want the Win today. WestHam maybe can boost by the return of Antonio. Even if he will sit on the Bench, when he can play it´s much better for WestHam - Aston Villa also strong in offensive, so my bet here for today is.
    Both2Score - Yes + Under 5 Goals @ 2.15 2/10 bet365

Yeah it´s tough to see some positive now at Derby. Momentum not on there Side and with this Equalizer against a Team who are nomaly play only against not to relegated will be frustrating for Derby Players. Also Double didn´t work today for me.
And again Stoke without Fletcher and Cambell in Front are poor. Fletcher was out today so it was a very poor Performance from Stoke today. But Wednesday also in bad Shape.

    Cardiff vs Luton
It's a big pressure game for Neil Harris today as Cardiff look to end a poor run of form against Luton in a 3pm GMT kick-off at the Cardiff City Stadium. @Neubs, I'm not going to lie, I'm not feeling optimistic at all about this game. Our performance against Coventry was quite frankly embarrassing and you have to wonder whether the Bluebirds manager has lost the dressing room.
Cardiff come into this game down in 18th place and we're now just 5 points above the drop zone and 9 points off the play-off positions. The general feeling by the fans is that the performance against Coventry in midweek was so abject that it made Harris' position as manager untenable. Yes, he did guide us to the play-offs last season but even then we never felt we were playing well and this season the performances have been disjointed, the football has been too negative, and we think the expectation on reaching the play-offs again has got to him. He simply hasn't found a way to set the team up without Lee Tomlin. Which is crazy given we have players like Harry Wilson, Sheyi Ojo, and Junior Hoilett in midfield. We've lost 4 of our last 7 games at home and I can't see us improving dramatically under Harris. I feel he's a dead man walking and the players know it.
Luton are exceeding expectations this season with Nathan Jones leading his players to 11th in the table. There's a feeling they're a smaller scale version of Eddie Howe and Bournemouth. I can't see them winning the league title but I wouldn't be surprised if with the right additions they are in the play-off discussion come May at this rate. The Hatters have won 10 of their last 16 away games under Jones and kept 9 clean sheets during that run of matches too. It's also worth noting that in August last year they battered us 3-0 at this venue in the EFL Cup.
OK, so I'm always keen to back the Cardiff manager. It's what we should do as fans. I just feel that Harris has either over-thought things this season or the lack of fans has just seriously affected his judgement of the games and performances. He keeps saying he'll mix things up and change things around but then reverts to type almost instantly. If we play 4-2-3-1 today with the same players that have been awful over the past few games then it sums it up. We need to go 4-4-2 and go on the front foot against teams. When we sit back it invites trouble. I'm not optimistic about this game and can see Luton taking at least a draw. I hope I'm wrong.

I´m also on Derby today - this is must Win Game if they want to change things now. Not to win here i think Derby will fall in deep Moral and then it will hard for them to drop in next Games some Points. Also for me a Double with Bournemouth and Watford.
Will wait who is starting for Stoke, as i said it in last Weeks. Cambell with Fletcher in Front works. Little bit unlucky that they didn´t grab some against Norwich. Also signed experience new GK, so interessting if they start today. If Cambell and Fletcher starts i think we can make Stoke DNB Bet here.
Also interessting to know how @StevieDay1983 see his Bluebird´s today?

Think Leeds can grab something today at Everton. Everton become 2 Goals from Fulham and also for me didn´t impressed me with this Performance. Leeds with many up´s and down´s in this Season but now with nearly Full-Squad and also Summer-Sign Rodrigo played U23 Game in Mideweek, so maybe he´s coming today from Bench and will be motivated. For me here Leeds +0.25 is a good Choice i think.
Also i´m on bet365 Bet Builder here with a Bet on Man City to win and total Score will be Under 4 Goals. Burnely where trashed every single Game against City in Last Years. But now i think they can will be made the Game closer. City isn´t in good Shape and even if they have full Squad to Choose today, think they are tired.

Fair to say the 1st Round didn't go anywhere near as well as the 4th Qualifying Round and I was caught out a little by how many upsets there were. Hard to put an exact reason behind that, but I do think no crowds is a factor. The Non-League sides are always going to be up for it, but it was clear that the same couldn't be said of the Football League sides in the 1st Round. I have picked out 6 of the Non-League sides that I think can cause an upset over the weekend as well as putting up a 4 fold. If they all win then I might retire! Tips for now and the previews will follow. Don't forget Bet365 have their acca bonus and early payout if a team goes 2 in front if you want that safety net so I have put top price and Bet365 price if shorter.
    Morecambe v Solihull Moors
A slight concern that Solihull have had a Covid enforced break and haven't played since November 11th, but this does look a game they can win to me. They were good in beating Scunthorpe in the previous round and although Morecombe are doing better than they are in League 2 there recent form isn't great. In the league they have only won one of their last 9 games and Solihull will be confident they can cause an upset.
    Peterborough v Chorley
I am taking a bit of a flyer here, but I thought Chorley did superbly well in coming from 2 down to beat Wigan in the last round. I know Wigan had 10 men, but even so it was a hell of an effort. Peterborough lost a couple of games before beating Plymouth last time and that gives a bit of hope. Also I can't imagine this will be high up on the list of targets for them. The lack of home fans I think favoured the Non-League sides in round 1 and that is why we saw so many go through and Chorley do have it in them to cause an upset. I think they are in a bit of a false position in the National League North and I just can't make them as big as 18/1 so its worth a having a crack at that price.
    Mansfield v Dagenham & Redbridge
Mansfield have only won once in the league all season and given Dagenham beat Grimsby in the previous round I think they could cause their League 2 hosts some issues here. They haven't played in nearly a couple of weeks and that will have helped them focus on this. They seem to be improving from earlier in the season and on their day the have the players to beat Mansfield.
    Bristol Rovers v Darlington
Darlington caused an upset in Round 1 when beating League 1 Swindon and I think they can beat another League 1 side in Rovers. They have only picked up 2 points in their last 6 league games. 2 starts back they lost to Swindon and last time they only got a point at Wigan. Rovers' record against Non-League sides in the FA Cup hasn't exactly been the best in recent years either. Darlington had a couple of good wins in the league before losing to Bradford (Park Avenue) on Tuesday night, but I don't mind that because this is a much bigger game for them. They look over priced to me.
    Shrewsbury v Oxford City
I would have preferred it if Shrewsbury hadn't announced their new manager on Friday as players will be looking to impress now, but with no win in 8 in the league they will still find this game tricky. City were superb in beating Northampton in the 1st Round and although their league form has taken a bit of a hit since, they have still been playing very well at times including when losing 3-2 to top of the table Dorking on Tuesday night. If they play as well as they did against Northampton I think they have got a real chance of reaching Round 3.
    Barnet v MK Dons
Barnet are really struggling in the league this season and their performance against Burton in the 1st Round sticks out like a sore thumb. It was superb and they fully deserved to win. Sometimes you get teams who do well in the cup despite the fact they aren't anything special in the league and I just wonder if Barnet will be like that this season. MK Dons have only won 3 league games out of 14 this season and again it looks a match where we could see an upset.
    Acca
Tranmere v Brackley get the action underway on BBC2 tonight and with Tranmere looking good at the moment I think they will be too strong for their National League North opponents. They have a new manager who has just taken over and he wont want a defeat in this. Kings Lynn scored with what was pretty much their only shot against Port Vale in Round 1 and I think Portsmouth will do a professional job on them. For the 3rd Round running I am trying to get Marine beat, but not being able to play since knocking out Colchester is hardly ideal. Havant are a very strong side as well. Boreham Wood have surprised me by their lack of goals in the league this season, but I can't see Canvey Island keeping them out. Canvey were very fortunate to knock out Banbury in the previous round and I would be disappointed if Wood blew this great opportunity to get to the 3rd Round

Saturday was reasonable, but could have easily been a full house given Chorley hit the front late on and Sutton were 2 up and comfortable. Still a profit is a profit and we move on to Tuesday night where I have 4 bets.
    Barnet v Hartlepool
Given how bad Barnet have been in the league on the whole I am still amazed they managed to knock out Burton in the FA Cup Since that they have lost 3-1 to Bromley and 2-0 to Kings Lynn at home and then on Saturday they lost 4-1 at Woking who only had 10 men for an hour of the game. Hartlepool were well beaten by a superb Torquay performance last month, but apart from that they have done fairly well this season. They were impressive in seeing off current bottom side Yeovil 3-1 on Saturday and if they put in another performance like that they can see off Barnet as well.
    Gateshead v Gloucester City
Here is a surprise for you all I am opposing Gloucester in this game. Obviously I hope I am wrong, but when it comes to punting you have to let head rule heart and I do fear this could be a game where we lose our unbeaten record. City are without Asante due to suspension which is a big loss as it is, but their other striker McClure had to go off on Saturday because of injury. It is unknown at this stage how bad it was and it could be that it was more of a precaution, but if City are missing both I do fear we will struggle to score a goal. Gloucester have also had a lot of football and did look a bit leggy at times on Saturday. Gateshead are in good form themselves and were really good on Saturday when putting 4 past Southport. They are unbeaten in 3 and as we know Gloucester struggle to keep a clean sheet. Every chance 1 could be enough for the home side and I would have the prices for the match the other way round. Therefore at 8/5 I make Gateshead a bet.
    Bath City v Dulwich Hamlet
Bath have won just once and lost their other 5 games in the league and Dulwich haven't won at all although have managed 4 draws so are one place above their hosts. After conceding 7 in two games Dulwich have at least managed to keep a clean sheet against Dorking and only concede 1 at Hemel on Saturday despite going down to 10 men. Bath played in a poor game against Hampton on Saturday and lost out by a penalty. To me there are signs that Dulwich are close to getting that vital win they need and there is no way Bath should be odds on here.
    Dorking v Oxford City
I just wonder if Oxford have got on eye on the FA Cup at the moment. They don't seem to be quite hitting the levels they were and certainly not as good as they were against Northampton in Round 1. I think they will be eyeing up Shrewsbury at the weekend and a chance of reaching Round 3 whereas Dorking will be fully focused on this. It was surprising they couldn't find the net against Dulwich a week ago, but they put 3 past Concord on Saturday in a game they ended up with 9 men compared to Concord's 10. They had scored 4 and 3 in their two games prior to the Dulwich one and they are clearly going to be title contenders. I would make them odds on for this and 7/5 makes plenty of appeal.

Also i play a Double with Brentford and Swansea to Win. Think both have must Wining Games if they want the Play Off Places this Season.
Also i play with smal Stake my Potters. Yes both GK are out and today youngster Bursik was recalled from Doncaster where they was on Loan. But O´Neil i think now slowly changed the Way of Stoke´s Future. They played in last Weeks against strong Teams and played well. The Performance are better and with Cambell and Fletcher up Front they have i think one of the best Striker Duo in League. Without them for example they played not so good and they lost with a bad Performance 0-2 at Swansea.

I´ll take the Double Chance on Hemel today. Play at Hampton and i think odds on Hemel are too high. They now had 2 Loses in a Row, but both where Home Games - so away they are not so bad with 2-0-2 at the Moment. Also they didn´t deserved the lose at Welling at Saturday, but they missed many Chances. Hampton on other Side with 2 Wins in a Row and also a good performance when they lost against Oldham in FA-Cup.
But today they are for me too big Fav´s from odds and also in these Games the Away Team didn´t Lost in last 5 Meetings here. So for me Hemel i think can grab a Draw or maybe more.

Also i will play Sunderland against MK Dons. After FA-Cup Knock out, now Sunderland can Focus the only main Target this Season the Promotion. MK Dons not in best Shape and Sunderland now with some injured Players come back.

Only 3. Bundesliga this Weekend will play in Germany, but i´ve got for now 2 Bet´s.
Viktoria Cologne - 1. FC Saarbruecken

Viktoria will played against promoted Team Saarbrueckenand both are doing well this Season. It´s 4th against 1st at Friday Evening. But due Covid-Pandemic - there will be no Fans in Stadium. Also yesterday Viktoria made a annoucment that 3 Players are tested positive for Covid. No Names, but they will not play at Friday Evening - so it´s not the Best Situation now in Colgone to prepere for the Game. But yes they have a good Team for this League and think they will play this Season for Place 3-8 i think.
Saarbruecken on other Side are great after promotion and Morale are high at the Moment. They have scored in each Half a Goal in Extra Time. Cologne i think feeling better, when they are Underdog. But tomorrow even the odd´s they other Things, they are not so big Underdog and for me that´s not good for them.

    Kaiserslautern - Magdeburg
Both with important Wins in last Game. Kaiserslautern before the Season said, they want the promotion. I didn´t think so. Financial Troubles for Years now, troubel in the whole Club. Many Players In and Out before the Season. For me solid Mid-Table Team. On other Side Magdeburg also with bad Start, but for me they have a terrible Squad at the Moment. Coach made some changes and play with some younger Guys last Weekend against Bayern Munich II and won. But against Kaiserslautern who are solid in Defensive can this be a problem. Also some injured players on Magdeburg Side. Kaiserslautern with very experience Offensive so i think they are clever enough to take the 2nd Win in a Row.

A tiny profit on Tuesday and Wednesday night with a couple of easy wins for Gloucester and Solihull. Back to a full league fixture list on Saturday (unless Covid gets in the way) and I have 5 bets across the 3 divisions.
    Altrincham v Aldershot
Altrincham were comfortably beaten by Solihull on Wednesday night and in more bad news for them they suffered more injuries. They already had plenty missing and given they have struggled for goals all season I fancy that Aldershot will probably only need to score 1 to win this. Score 1 is what they did against Notts County last Saturday as they took full advantage of an error to score their only shot on target of the whole game. I wouldn't read too much into that as the tactics were too make things hard for County and try and force them into an error which is what happened. Aldershot have scored in all 6 league games so far and apart from a 4-1 loss to league leaders Torquay they have been performing well. The 29/20 about an away win makes plenty of appeal.
    Chesterfield v Maidenhead
After losing their 1st 3 games and conceding 10 goals in the process it looked like it would be a tough season for Maidenhead, but they went and won their next 4 league games. That has put them to 6th in the table and although I think they have had a bit of fortune along the way, the 3-1 over Solihull in their last league game was probably their best performance of the season. Chesterfield on the other hand have have won 2 and lost 4 of their 6 league games and although they have had some tough fixtures they haven't been playing that well. In their last league game they beat current bottom side Yeovil 1-0 and even then I didn't see anything that would make me think they should be odds on to beat a tough Maidenhead side. The 23/10 about an away looks decent value to me.
    Blyth Spartans v Hereford
Thanks to Covid issues Hereford have only played 3 league games so far this season and they have had one of each result. October 27th was their last league game when they lost 2-0 to Bradford Park Avenue and they don't seem in a good place at the moment. Granted Blyth conceded 16 goals in their 1st 5 games, but they have looked much improved in their last 2. Saturday they beat Curzon 3-0 and then got a 1-1 draw against Farsley on Tuesday. They come into this game with plenty of confidence and that could be enough to see off a rusty Hereford. I am certainly happy to take a chance on them at 13/5.
Gloucester City v Bradford Park Avenue
I have watched all of Gloucester's games so far this season and it feels like I am not watching my own side given how impressive we have been. I tipped us up at the start of the season to win the league based on the team which looked strong and it has been great to see that they have performed on the pitch. I was concerned about manager's James Rowe lack of experience, but full credit to him as he has got the team playing well and it is clear there is great team spirit in the squad. An impressive 19 goals have been scored and I think the home performances have been especially impressive. The one concern is the lack of a clean sheet and again on Tuesday night they gifted Telford with a goal in the first 2 minutes. They weren't great in the 1st half, but in the 2nd half half City were totally dominant and fully deserved to run out 4-1 victors. As much as BPA are clearly a better side than the one that would have been relegated last season I just don't see how they can stop a rampant City forward line. Bookies still don't seem to have cottoned on to the fact City are one of the best sides in the division and the 10/11 that is available would be much shorter if York or Fylde were hosting BPA. I'm also going to add a bet on the -1 handicap at 23/10 which City have covered in all their home games so far.
Havant & Waterlooville v Oxford City
I know that Northampton were rubbish on Monday night, but that shouldn't take anything away from a superb performance from Oxford. That effort backs up their good form so far this season and although they lost to Hampton in their last league game that certainly doesn't put me off backing them against Havant. Havant are clearly one of the best teams in the division, but I think Oxford have it in them to win this and I would have them around the 2/1 mark and not the 3/1 they currently are.

Neubs reacted to Darran in Non-League Predictions > November 10th/11th
It was a very frustrating weekend on the FA Cup front. The tone was set on Friday when Harrogate conceded a late goal to stop the -3 handicap bet from landing. Boreham Wood did go 2 up and those who had the bet with Bet365 will have got paid out with their 2 up offer (unless you have had offers taken off your account). Solihull were the only actual winners over the weekend though. Back to league action this week and I have 4 bets
    AFC Fylde v Spennymoor
AFC Fylde did well at Exeter on Saturday in the FA Cup having gone a goal up and then going down 2-1, but this will be a tough game for them back in the league. I watched Spennymoor on Saturday against Gloucester and was impressed in what was a good game of football. Fylde dropped their first league points of the season last week against Alfreton and this will be a tougher game. Both sides are unbeaten so far and I suspect both will be in play-off contention at the very least. I would make Spennymoor no bigger than 2/1 so the 11/4 with Bet365 makes plenty of appeal from a value perspective.
    Gloucester City v AFC Telford
I don't think Gloucester were at their best on Saturday and it does concern me that we keep conceding goals, but at least we are scoring plenty and I think that will be the case again here. Telford lost on Saturday to Southport and it was interesting to read that they struggled to cope with Southport's attack including set pieces and long throws. Given Gloucester's strength is their forward play I can see them putting Telford under plenty of pressure and scoring goals from it. I think they should be odds on to win this and the 11/10 with Betfred is a decent price.
    Concord v Welling
I would love to have taken on Stevenage in the FA Cup on Saturday, but wasn't sure if Concord would be up to it. As it turned out I was sort of right, but it was a hell of an effort to take it to penalties after a 2-2 draw. That was on the back of a 4-1 win at Dulwich last Tuesday and they should take plenty of confidence from both performances after they lost 6-0 to Maidstone. Welling are not having a very good season. They lost to a Step 5 side in the FA Cup, they have blown a 4-1 lead to only get a point against Slough and then on Saturday Chelmsford beat them 4-0. I think 5/4 with Bet365 is a solid price about a home win.
    Altrincham v Solihull Moors
There are two National League games on Wednesday, this one and Notts County v Stockport on BT Sport which should be a cracker. This is the game I think is worth betting on though and I am happy to back Solihull on the back of their FA Cup win on Sunday. Granted they weren't great in the last league game when losing 3-1 to Maidenhead, but apart from that they are doing well in the league. Altrincham on the other hand are struggling a bit on the whole and didn't offer a great deal against Wealdstone on Saturday. I think odds against quotes on an away win offer value.
    Spennymoor 1pt @ 11/4 with Bet365
    Gloucester City 2pts @ 6/5 with Betfair
    Concord 2pts @ 5/4 with Bet365
    Solihull 1pt @ 23/20 with William Hill

    Cardiff vs Bristol City
The Championship throws up a passion-filled encounter between two rivals when Cardiff face Bristol City in the Severnside Derby at 6pm GMT on Friday night. It's a clash of two sides that have experienced contrasting starts to their season but with results becoming more and more inconsistent with every passing week in the intense atmosphere of the second tier of English football will this game go against the form book?
Cardiff looked like they were at risk of going into freefall. I even discussed my pessimism surrounding Neil Harris's management during the midweek preview. I know I certainly didn't see that 3-0 win over Barnsley coming. Harris switched up our formation to a 4-4-2 and it seems he just told the players to have fun and enjoy it. We played with more freedom and energy. The return of Robert Glatzel making busy runs up top to stretch the Tykes back-line and Harry Wilson carving them open with his passing certainly helped. Hopefully, Harris has realised that if our central midfield isn't good enough then we might as well limit the numbers we have in there! One thing Cardiff are doing well at the moment is scoring goals having scored in each of their last 6 games and both teams have scored in 4 of their last 5 matches.
Bristol City have started to look like a team capable of making a push for promotion to the Premier League this season. Head coach Dean Holden has led the team to 7th in the table and only 5 points off the pace of runaway leaders Reading. The 2-1 win over Huddersfield in midweek ended a winless run of 5 league games for the Robins. In fairness, it was a run of fixtures that was amongst the toughest in the league with their games against Barnsley, Middlesbrough, Swansea, Bournemouth, and Norwich only bringing 2 points. Not sure many expected them to get more than that from those matches either. Keeping the goals out is a problem for City right now with them failing to keep a clean sheet in their last 7 games and both teams scoring in 5 of their last 7 matches suggesting we could see goals in this game.
Well, I don't really know where to begin with this one. I always say on here that you should always start your mindset with a draw when it comes to derby matches. It's the classic tagline of "form goes out the window" and they're usually tense affairs. I feel this is a game where two teams that were experiencing polarised form are now coming to meet in the middle. I don't think either side would be disappointed with a draw and if Cardiff play like they did in midweek with Sheyi Ojo expected to come back into the team then we could sneak it. Bristol City are a dangerous team now though and I think they could have enough to grind out the draw.

Having had one of my best ever days punting on 4th qualifying round day hopefully I can repeat the dose now we reach the 1st Round. I like 7 bets throughout the weekend where plenty of games will be covered via the BBC or BT Sport.
    Harrogate V Skelmersdale
The 1st match of the weekend sees the 1st bet in a game live on BT Sport. Skelmersdale were one of the sides I put up in the last round and they duly beat Stafford 4-1. Stafford play in Step 3 and have only picked up 1 point in the league so playing a Harrogate side 3 levels higher and having a decent start in their first season in the Football League. Skelmersdale play at Step 5 of Non-League football and whenever a team from that level reach the 1st Round they always get outclassed. Granted they might have had this game on their minds, but they have lost their 2 league games since the Stafford victory 3-1 and 4-0. As Harrogate have just come from Non-League I can't see them under estimating their opponents and I fully expect them to take it seriously and win the game comfortably. The -2 handicap is now odds on, but I am going to go for the -3 which is 11/4 with Betfair.
    Boreham Wood v Southend
It might seem odd putting up a team who are evens to beat a team from a higher level, but when Southend are bottom of League having picked up just 2 points it is easy to see why Boreham Wood are the price they are. They have scored just 5 goals in the league, but one of those was an own goal and another a penalty. I think Boreham Wood are better than their league position suggests and they have conceded just three times in their 5 league games so far. You would think they could keep Southend quiet and that Boreham Wood certainly have the forwards capable of causing Southend no end of problems.
    Cheltenham v South Shields
South Shields were another team I put up in the previous round when they caused an upset in beating Halifax. Granted Cheltenham are having a good season in League 2, but I think South Shields could pull off another upset. They have a very good side for their level and are essentially a Step 2 side at Step 3 level. If they play at the top of their game I make their chances of causing an upset better than an 8/1 chance so am happy to take a chance.
    Colchester v Marine
Marine caused an upset in the previous round beating Chester, but I struggle to see the Step 4 side doing much against League 2 Colchester. They have won 3 of their 5 league games, but 2 of them came against 2 of the weaker sides in the division and they should be easily outclassed in this. Colchester are in solid form in League 2 this season and I think they can cover the -2 handicap here.
    Dagenham & Redbridge v Grimsby
Dagenham are currently bottom of the National League and have really struggled this season. Their only win came against Wealdstone who were poor that evening and Dagenham did enough to deserve the win without looking that great themselves. Grimsby are doing well enough in League 2 and have done well away from home so far this season. They are better than Dagenham and odds against quotes look good value to me.
    Hayes & Yeading v Carlisle
Hayes were another side who won for me in the previous round when they caused an upset by beating Wealdstone. This game will be much tougher though and Carlisle are currently in 5th position in League 2 having beaten top of the table Newport on Tuesday night. The fact there are no fans will help the away side as the home fans can't create a hostile atmosphere and attempt to make things tricky for the Football League side. I think Carlisle will win this with ease and they can cover the -1 handicap.
    Scunthorpe v Solihull Moors
Another solid National League side taking on a poor side from League 2 in this tie. Scunthorpe were hit with Covid and that means they haven't played for 2 weeks. When they were playing though they only managed to pick up 4 points in 8 games, scoring just 3 goals in the process. I was a bit surprised Solihull lost 3-1 to Maidenhead last Saturday, but prior to that they had only lost one of their 1st 5 games. They should be in the play-off picture this season and given how bad Scunthorpe have been so far this season they could easily cause an upset here.
    Acca
I have put together an 8 fold acca where I think the Football League side will knock out the Non-League. I am putting in Harrogate, Colchester and Carlisle as per the bets above. I am then adding Bradford to win at Tonbridge, Port Vale to beat Kings Lynn, Doncaster to beat FCUM in the live BBC2 game, Oldham to win at Hampton and Blackpool to win at Eastbourne. The acca pays 11.4/1 with Betfair.

Tuesday was a mini bump back to earth after the high of Saturday, but an injury time goal against us was always going to happen at some point. More on that in the previews. With Step 3 entering the FA Trophy the focus is on the 3 National League's and I have 5 bets.
    Hartlepool v Torquay
The live BT Sport game sees 1st v 4th and Hartlepool are yet to lose so far this season so an interesting game on paper. At the risk of upsetting Hartlepool fans again (for some reason they got upset with me saying Notts County are the biggest team in Non-League last week), I am not sure Hartlepool are quite as good as their form suggests. For a start they have had a pretty kind fixture list so far and they haven't always played that well. I put them up to beat Maidenhead the other week and they won 4-0, but Maidenhead should have been 4 up by half time and they managed to get away with it. On Tuesday night they were good in the 1st half against Altrincham, but were poor in the 2nd half and Alty missed a penalty. Speaking of late goals, Torquay have been the masters in that so far this season with 3 of their 5 victories on the back of goals in injury time. They also scored a 90th minute goal in their 4-1 win against Aldershot on Tuesday night. They are looking capable of a top 7 finish this season and I think there is more to come from them. They look over priced at 13/5 with Betway and I would have them no bigger than 7/4 myself.
    Wrexham v Sutton
Wrexham don't seem to have solved any of their issues of last season. They still can't score goals and they aren't looking great at the back either. They were fortunate to beat Boreham Wood on day 1 and their other win was against Yeovil who are yet to win. Although Barnet welcomed some of the players who were missing against Leiston it still wasn't a great effort to draw in 0-0 where yet again they looked poor up front. Sutton have had a great start to the season winning 4 of their 1st 5 games. Now they have only beaten Aldershot, Maidenhead, Weymouth and Yeovil, but Wrexham don't look any stronger than that lot and they might well only need the 1 goal to win. Betway are biggest again at 14/5, but again I would be happy to take around 15/8.
    Gloucester City v Chester
Gloucester have had a couple of weeks off since beating Blyth 6-1 as Covid in the Gateshead camp forced their game off last Saturday. In that time Chester limply went out of the FA Cup to Marine although they did bounce back from that when beating Curzon on Tuesday night. For me though Gloucester look a better team than Chester this season and I think the 6/4 is a good price as they should be clear favourites in my view. No doubt Asante will be keen to score against his former club as well.
    Southport v Boston
Boston should have hammered Guiesley on Tuesday night. I watched the game and it was about as one sided as an encounter as you will ever see. Poor finishing and superb goalkeeping meant the only goal was a free kick and then with their only shot on target of the game the away side scored in the 95th minute. Boston played some great stuff though and they looked possible title contenders to me. Southport have picked up 7 points from their 3 games so far, but this is easily their toughest test yet and I think Boston will prove too strong.
Oxford City v Hampton & Richmond
The home side have been very profitable for us in the last couple of weeks with their wins over Tonbridge and Weymouth in the FA Cup. Granted Hampton's only point in the league so far was a decent one against Dartford, but Oxford are starting the season very strongly and evens is just on the right side of value for me.
    Torquay 2pts @ 13/5 with Betway
    Sutton 2pts @ 14/5 with Betway
    Gloucester 2pts @ 6/4 with Bet365
    Boston 2pts @ 8/5 with Betfred
    Oxford City 2pts @ Evs with Bet365

    Neubs got a reaction from four-leaf in Bundesliga I & II Predictions > Oct 30th - Nov 2nd
I´ve got a first Bet for today and it´s City Derby of Hamburg in 2. Bundesliga.
    Hamburg - St. Pauli
Hamburg big Favourite this Season for Promotion. After they failed this Target last 2 Seasons this Season looks really good. 5 Games and 5 Wins on his Side. So Form is suberp and for me they have this Season much better Moral in Squad then last Year. And with Terrode they have a Top-Striker for 2. Bundesliga. This Season again 6 Goals in 5 Games. For me they have only one Bad Performance this Season so far, when they played against Fuerth with 10 Men only for long Time.
They will missed today with van Drongelen a long term Player and Jatta for Offensive only 2 nearly important Players. But squad is good for this Level and think Hamburg can play today with his best Possible Line-Up.
St. Pauli on other Side with 1-3-1 - sounds good, but only good at this is there Moral. Down against Darmstadt in last Game and they become in Extra Time a Joke Penalty. So good for them, but they lost before the Season 3 important Offensive Players and they bought Burgstaller from Schalke, but he´s injured. So for me they are offensive a little bit Limited at the Moment.
I will take Stake´s down here, because St. Pauli with good Moral this Season and Hamburg allways in last TImes, they are shit in Derby´s inlcuding  lose both of them against St. Pauli last Season.
But think St. Pauli´s good Luck in last Games are now over.
    Hamburg AHC-1 @ 1.85 4/10 bet365
    Terrode 2 score anytime @ 2.10 1/10 bet365

Neubs got a reaction from Middle East Leagues Expert in Champions League Predictions > Oct 27th & 28th
Today i take a Bet placing on Atl. Madrid. Don´t know why the odds on them are so high. Salzburg with a young Team only Draw against Moscow at home who are normaly playing defensive Football and with 4-4-2, the same like Atl. Madrid can play. And now they will play in Madrid against one of Europe´s beste Defensive Team. Think Bookies overrated this deasaster against Munich to much. They have played against the Best Team in Europe and didn´t find a solution about Gnabry´s Missing on Munich Side, because then every Bayern Munich Player have played some MInutes the right Winger. This brooke Madrid there Neck. So today about this young Salzburg team, Madrid will win this for sure.
Other bet is a bet on Real Madrid. Gladbach played great against Inter, but in German League they didn´t show anything great Performances and rotate also a lot. Also welcoming back Thuram, Plea from injury - but think they need time to prepere in this Rythm with Midweek Games. They will be for sure motivated, but without Fans and Madrid coming from a Clascio Win, i see Madrid in Front here.
Also i will play Liverpool AHC-2, Danish Side was trashed by Atatlanta Side, but even if Liverpool are not in there best Shape, they must win this. With win they have good Bilance in this Group with 2 Wins and maybe Atalanta wins against against Ajax, then both have 6 Points - other 2 0 Points. Important i think. And also i think Liverpool must make it very fast clear with goals, becuase they have tough Shedule like all other Teams.
    Atl. Madrid 4/10
    Madrid 2/10
    Liverpool AHC-2 3/10
