I´m on Witton and Dulwich today...
Witton have only 12 Games in the League so far, but after Weekend Win again Lancaster they are no out of the Bottom Three and today with a Victory they can also climb in the Mid-Zone of the Table. Stalybridge poor Away with 1-1-4 and without a Win in last 5 Games. Also both H2H last Season ends clearly for Witton with 5-0 away and 4-1 at Home.
Also Dulwich played against Bottom Team of the League Weston and i think Weston after 2 undefeated Games in the Row now able to lose again. Dulwich also with 2 undefeated Games in a Row and with 3 unbeaten Games at Home in last 3 Games. Last Game at Weekend Weston won there First Game of the Season at poor Hungerford Team. For me Dulwich better Side and at Home they will take the Win.

October had gone so well until the final two sets of fixtures which were shocking. I tipped one draw up on Tuesday and it was a shame I didn't tip 6 more given all 7 games ended with the teams sharing a point. Pretty certain that hasn't happened to me before and it just shows that sometimes this game is all about small margins. Hopefully November can start well and I have 5 bets.
    Harrogate v Chesterfield (National League)
On paper this is a harder game for Chesterfield than the Sutton game on Tuesday, but I still have a feeling that Harrogate are over achieving and although they won on Tuesday night beating Barrow 4-2, that did come on the back of only getting a point against Dover and then losing to Dagenham. What I said about Chesterfield on Tuesday night still stands here and whilst they keep drawing I think it is worth keeping backing the draw in their games. Whatever happens we are in profit from backing it now. Harrogate had also drawn their previous two home games prior to beating Barrow. The draw is 131/50 with Marathon.
Chelmsford v Eastbourne (National League South)
Chelmsford's home form has not been great so far this season having picked up just 6 points and only Truro and Weston have picked up fewer points at home. Their away form had been much better although they suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat at Concord on Tuesday night. The league table tells you there isn't a great deal between quite a few teams in the division and having seen 7 of the teams in the league live I would have to agree. I saw Eastbourne get a draw at Gloucester a game which they should have won given Gloucester had gone down to ten men and they conceded with the last kick of the game. That match was part of a spell where getting a man sent off against Eastbourne was a benefit as they seemed to struggle once a team had a man sent off against them. I backed them in two of those games where they blew a lead against Dartford and then lost 4-2 to Slough. Strangely enough in the league their last away game was the Gloucester one at the end of September, but they are unbeaten in 6 away games although they have drawn 4 of them. Some people might want the draw on side, but for me the value is with an away win as I just can't see how Eastbourne can be as big as 100/30 (Bet365) to beat their hosts.
Barwell v Bedworth (Southern League Premier Central)
Unusually for me I have just the two bets in the 3 National Leagues and so the remaining 3 bets all come from Step 3 starting with this one. Bedworth look out of their depth in this league having failed to win so far and they have picked up just the 3 points. Only 1 of those points has come away from home and that 1-1 draw at Biggleswade was the only time they have conceded less than 2 goals on their travels. Barwell have only won once at home which was their last home league game against Banbury. However it is worth pointing out that they have had to play Stourbridge, Kettering, Royston who are the current top 3 and Alvechurch who are in 6th. In addition they only lost 3 of those games by one goal and they drew with Stourbridge. This is obviously by far their easiest home game of the season and overall they have only lost one of their last 6 games. They should be odds on for this so Marathon's 28/25 makes a fair bit of appeal.
Marine v Hyde (Evo-Stik Northern Premier)
Hyde struggled a bit to begin with back at this level, but they have really found their stride having lost just once in their last 7 league games. Darren Kelly seems to have got his team playing well and a 4-1 victory over South Shields recently was a particularly impressive result. Marine have only won 2 at home in the league this season and have only 2 wins in their last 9 league games. Hyde should be favourites to win this so the 7/4 with BetVictor appeals.
Grantham v Warrington (Evo-Stik Northern Premier)
Grantham started the season really well, but things have taken a nosedive and even a change of manager doesn't seem to have changed things. Grantham have lost 6 league games on the bounce and lost 7-0 to Matlock in their last league game. Warrington have only lost three league games all season although 2 of those have come in their last 2 games including on Tuesday night when they lost 2-1 to Nantwich, but Nantwich are flying themselves at the moment. This is a much easier game and Warrington should get back to winning ways.
    Harrogate v Chesterfield 1pt draw @ 131/50 with Marathon
    Eastbourne 1pt @100/30 with Bet365
    Barwell 3pts @ 28/25 with Marathon
    Hyde 1pt @ 7/4 with BetVictor
    Warrington 2pts @ 11/8 with BetVictor

Saturday was a blank day. Aldershot and Halifax were poor, Dulwich could have won and somehow Stockport failed to beat a 10 man Nuneaton. It is a full fixture list in the 3 National League's on Tuesday and as much Tuesday's can be a nightmare I fancy 7 bets on the night.
    Eastleigh v Leyton Orient
Eastleigh won their first game under their caretaker manager on Saturday when beating Halifax, but as mentioned above Halifax were poor and I don't think Eastleigh had to do much to beat them. This game is very different and Orient were superb in taking apart Havant on Saturday. The Havant manager said afterwards they were easily the best side they have played so far this season and with Salford having a mini wobble that 4-0 win took them back to the top of the table. I am amazed that Orient are drifting as I think they should be odds on to take this and Marathon's 127/100 makes plenty of appeal.
    Ebbsfleet v Maidstone
I admit I am taking a bit of a chance here as Maidstone have lost their last 3 league games, but it is worth considering 3 things in this game. First of all Maidstone did manage to beat Leyton Orient in the FA Cup so that was a decent effort. Secondly Maidstone's away form has improved a little of late as they managed to beat Braintree and Aldershot before losing to AFC Fylde in their last 3 away matches. The 3rd point is Ebbsfleet's home form which is shocking as I have pointed out quite a few times on here of late. Now it was a great result to get a point at Salford on Saturday and the expected departures hasn't happened as of yet, but I can't overlook their dreadful away efforts. Maybe this being a derby might perk them up a bit, but I think that could be a factor for Maidstone as well and they are capable of pulling off a victory here. I am certainly happy to take a chance on an away win at 26/5 with Marathon.
    Sutton v Chesterfield
Chesterfield are the draw specialists having now drawn their last 4 league games and 6 of their last 8 have been draws. The two defeats in that spell were when they couldn't defend against Gateshead and Maidenhead and conceded 3 goals in each game, but since those two they have defended much better and yet again have made themselves hard to beat. They did manage to beat AFC Fylde in the FA Cup, but as we know in the league they can't buy a win. They tried hard against Wrexham on Saturday, but they just couldn't find a winning goal however hard they tried. Sutton have drawn 3 of their last 5 home matches with the other two games being the two freak results of losing 4-0 to Boreham Wood and then beating Wrexham 3-0. I know there are 14 points between the two sides, but I suspect in reality there probably isn't that much between the two teams. I rarely put up a draw, but I do think it looks the value play in this game and at 13/5 with Bet365 it is worth a bet.
    AFC Telford v Hereford
Neither of these sides have been winning much in recent weeks as after a cracking start to the season Telford had a bit of a blip by not winning in 5 (although they did draw with leaders Chorley), but they were back to winning ways when coming from a goal down against in form York to win 2-1 on Saturday thanks to a late winner. They still sit in the play-off places whereas Hereford sit one place outside the relegation zone having only picked up two points in their last 9 games. New manager Marc Richard's hasn't really seen an improvement from his side so far and Boston put 3 past them on Saturday. To be fair Hereford were the better side in the first half, but they couldn't make it count and were very much 2nd best in the 2nd. The goal on Saturday was only their 3 on the road so far this season and I am surprised that Telford are as big as 7/5 (Bet365) as I would have them as stronger favourites.
    FCUM v Alfreton
Going to take a chance on FUCM here as they have shown improvement in their last couple of games. The new manager only started on Saturday and he oversaw a 1-1 draw with Brackley which was a good effort, but last week they caused a huge upset when winning at 2nd place Kidderminster. They haven't won at home yet, but I wouldn't read too much into that given how poor they have been for most of the season. Alfreton have now lost 5 on the bounce in the league and although it was a late winner from Chester to beat them 3-2 on Saturday that will have been a painful defeat to take on the back of the other loses in the league. At 13/5 with Bet365 I think the home side are a sporting bet.
    Southport v Curzon Ashton
Quite why the bookies continue to price up Southport so short I am not sure given they are bottom of the table. They are by far my worst ante-post tip of the season given they were my main selection for the title and I can't believe how badly they have done. Their only league win was a 4-1 victory over Nuneaton which sums up their season really. Curzon have only lost to Boston in their last 6 games and they sit in 2nd place in the away table in the league and are only behind Chorley on goal difference. Also Chorley are the only side they have lost to on their travels. For them to be over 3/1 to beat the bottom side seems bonkers to me.
    Weston-Super-Mare v Torquay
One of the strangest results of the season so far was Weston beating Bath in the FA Cup last week because Bath should have been way too strong for them. Weston only have 2 points in the league and were bad yet again on Saturday. I wasn't sure Gary Johnson was the right fit for Torquay, but he has really transformed them so far and got them scoring goals which was something they weren't doing before. Impressive again at the weekend and I just don't see how they don't pick up another 3 points here. Both sides are in the FA Cup 1st Round, but that is going to be the highlight of Weston's season so no surprise if the players have one eye on that.

Last Saturday it was good to get 3 upsets (I am counting Dover as an upset as they were the outsiders) in the FA Cup and that is why I love punting on that competition. The 4th Qualifying Round and the 1st Round are the two favourite weekends for me as I love the chance to land a few big prices and I look forward to seeing what the 1st Round brings in a couple of weeks. Tuesday night saw a profit on the 3 bets as well so it continues to be a profitable month. Saturday sees the Step 3 clubs in FA Trophy action and as only BetVictor have priced them up I am not getting involved so it is 3 bets and a double for me across the 3 National Leagues.
    Gateshead v Aldershot
I think the away side are a huge price to win this. Gateshead's home form has been a bit shaky of late. They lost 3 on the bounce to Harrogate, Braintree and Eastleigh before beating Dagenham 2-0 in their last home league match. That form doesn't add up to an awful lot and I think they are flattered a bit by their current position in the play-off positions. Both these sides are in the FA Cup 1st Round although it is fair to say Aldershot certainly had the tougher afternoon seeing off a good Kettering side. As much as Aldershot have improved of late I wasn't surprised by the fact that Kettering gave them a good game because they are looking really good in the league this season and as they proved have it in them to create a National League side problems. Aldershot had enough class in the end though to see them off and it continued their big improvement in form which I wrote about a couple of weeks ago when putting them up to beat Eastleigh. These two sides are much closer together than a price of 14/5 (BetVictor) suggests and to be honest I think Aldershot will turn out to be the better side come April.
    Halifax v Eastleigh
I think there is just enough in the Halifax price to get involved here. I have opposed Eastleigh in both games so far since Hessenthaler left and it has proven very profitable with them losing to Aldershot and then when they got knocked out of the FA Cup by Hampton & Richmond last weekend. I suspected they wouldn't be able to sustain the progress they had made under him and it has been correct so far. As I pointed out when I put up Halifax a couple of weeks ago they love to draw at the moment although I thought they did well to beat Warrington in the FA Cup replay on Tuesday night after Warrington had outplayed them in the first game. I think its a good time to be playing Eastleigh at the moment and Halifax could finally get that league victory. At 161/100 with Marathon I think there is enough in the price to take it especially as they are drifting at the time of writing.
    Billericay v Dulwich
I still believe Billericay will win the league, but having seen them for myself a couple of weeks ago I think they are worth opposing here. Gloucester deserved at least a point and Billericay backed off Gloucester in the 2nd half allowing them plenty of possession and thus allowing them to create chances. They then had two games against Taunton and they were a bit fortunate to get a replay as Taunton missed a penalty in the first game and then they only won 1-0 on Wednesday night. They obviously have plenty of attacking talent, but Jake Robinson broke a toe in the first Taunton game and any side will miss his goals. These two sides have history given they were going for the title last season and Dulwich won this fixture last season. The Dulwich players and fans will be in a positive frame of mind after it was announced earlier in the week that they can return to Champion Hill although to be honest I don't think the players would need any incentive to beat Billericay anyway. They have had a couple of weeks off which should help and I was surprised to see footage of the Billericay players celebrating the win over Taunton as heavily as they were given in less than 72 hours they had a big league game. Dulwich are in a false position in the table and on their day I think they are capable of beating anyone in the division and at 7/2 (BetVictor) they are the value play in this.
    Leyton Orient v Havant & Waterlooville/Stockport v Nuneaton
The home double here pays 37/25 with Marthon and makes plenty of appeal. Orient were surprisingly knocked out of the FA Cup by Maidstone last week, but at least they weren't knocked out by a team two leagues below like Havant who lost to the Met Police. Orient should win this as Havant continue to struggle to get a victory. In the National League North Stockport should be beating a Nuneaton team who might not be around this time next week. They are in a sorry state off the pitch and although they have been battling well on it they then went and lost 6-0 to Bradford Park Avenue last Saturday. I think the players might now be thinking they are fighting a lost cause and I'm not sure going to a big ground like Stockport is ideal in the situation they are in.
    Aldershot 2pts @14/5 with BetVictor
    Halifax 1pt @ 161/100 with Marathon
    Dulwich 1pt @ 7/2 with BetVictor
    Leyton Orient/Stockport 2pts double @ 37/25 with Marathon

Hopefully I can continue the good form so far this month on Tuesday night and I have 3 bets in the Bostik Premier.
    Folkestone v Carshalton
The home side had a superb season last time around and were in the title race until late on. I did think it might be a one off and although they started fairly well they have not been in great form in recent weeks. They have only won once in their last 7 games, in fairness that was a good win over 4th place Bognor, and have lost 5 of them including on Saturday when they lost 2-0 to Lewes. Carshalton have won back to back games and they have a fair chance of being able to make it 3 I think. In my view there isn't a great deal between these two sides and Marathon go a shade over 2/1 on an away win and that is just big enough for me to play.
Potters Bar Town v Bishops Stortford
The away side are turning into a bit of a surprise package and having started poorly they are in a rich vein of form at the moment. They are unbeaten in 6 and that includes a win at the league leaders Tonbridge and they were impressive in beating Corinthian-Casuals 3-0 on Saturday. Potters Bar aren't doing too badly after gaining promotion last season, but they won their first two games and have only managed to win 2 of their following 10. It is hard to see how the away team have been priced up at 2/1 for this as the Essex side have plenty of confidence at the moment and they look a fair bet here.
    Whitehawk v Lewes
The home side were one of the ante-post favs for this league, but I believed that with Steve King leaving they would have no chance and that is exactly how it has turned out. They have only won twice all season and are just two points away from the relegation zone. It is also worth highlighting that their two wins this season have been against the bottom two sides in the division Harlow and Burgess Hill. They lost 6-0 on Saturday at Enfield. Lewes on the other-hand are having a good season and will fancy themselves to be in the play-off hunt. They have only conceded 3 times on the road this season and their only two defeats after their opening day loss have been by 1 goal, which included a 7 goal thriller against a good side in Worthing. As mentioned above they had another good win at the weekend over Folkestone and they will fancy themselves to win this. Marathon go 59/50 about an away win.

I think both - Leverkusen and Bayern Munich - will win his Games very easy. Both are in difficult Situation, but both have - in my Opinion - the best Teams to grab all 3 Points and also come in better Form.

    Nuernberg-Hoffenheim

A look only on the Table and you can think that Hoffenheim are on bad Form. But that isn´t the Truth. The Results are not okay, but the football what they are playing are really good. Also they have played in first 7 Games against some strong Opponents. The real strengh what Hoffenheim can play, you can see it in CL-Game against ManCity. So at Saturday they have again many missings, but slowly the situation will be better. So for the Game Players like Bicakcic, Posch, Bittencourt and Kaderabek maybe can sit on the bench. So positive News here for Hoffenheim. I´m a little bit affraid that they can maybe watch with one Eye here on the really important CL-Game next Week at Home against Lyon. Very important Game for Hoffenheim....
On other Side we have Nuernberg. Some positive Results, but 2 huge Beat-Downs against Dortmund and Leipzig. Both are playing some nice offensive Football, like Hoffenheim and i think the quality are not enough at the Moment. For me Nuernberg can not grab something here....

Good to have a really good Saturday last weekend with 3 of the 4 National League bets landing. Didn't have as much fortune on the FA Cup front but the next round should bring plenty of opportunities on that front next weekend. This Saturday it is Non-League Day and I urge anyone reading this who can go to a game at the weekend to go and do so especially if you haven't been to watch your local team before. I will be watching Billericay v Gloucester and as much as I fully expect my team to lose I am really interested to see Billericay in action especially from an ante-post perspective as I am sure a few of you have got some fancy prices about them. Hopefully it will be a profitable Non-League Day and I have five bets.
Dagenham & Redbridge v Wrexham (National League)
Surely Peter Taylor won't be in the Dagenham hot-seat for too much longer. They had a 4 game unbeaten spell, but apart from that have looked every bit relegation candidates and I don't see Taylor bringing about any improvement and he is the wrong man for the job. Wrexham on the other-hand have their eyes firmly on promotion although I suspect that will be via the play-offs rather than winning the title. Their only defeat in their last 8 games was when I put them up to beat Sutton, but that looks every bit the one off I thought it would be and Dagenham are no Sutton. Skybet are even money if you can get on although the shade of odds on elsewhere is acceptable as well.
    Eastleigh v Aldershot (National League)
Slightly risky to want to back a team who have only picked up one point on their travels this season playing against a team who have won 4 on the bounce and are unbeaten in 6, but I think Aldershot are worth backing here. As I highlighted last week Aldershot are an improving side and they dispatched Halifax without too many worries last weekend. I am hoping that they can continue that on their travels and the fact they got a draw at Hartlepool two weeks ago gives me confidence that they can. Eastleigh lost their manager in the week and it might just upset their good run of form. This could be the perfect time to be playing them and the Aldershot players should be full of confidence at the moment. The 61/25 about an away with Marathon is way too big for me.
    Halifax v Chesterfield (National League)
Yes I am going to oppose Chesterfield again in the live TV game on BT Sport at Saturday teatime. Yet again they are short price favourites away from home and although we didn't get a result in Chesterfield's last two games as they have drawn them they are a stupid price yet again. Now granted Halifax aren't exactly winning football matches either at the moment, but at home only Hartlepool have beaten them so far this term. Either side of that defeat they have drawn against Leyton Orient and AFC Fylde. It has been 8 games since a win, but they have drawn 5 of them. The two 3-0 defeats have both come on their travels and as pointed out above Aldershot are improving fast. Chesterfield have scored just 3 times in their last 10 games which is pretty shocking really and given Halifax have only scored 7 in that time we could be looking at a pretty dull affair (a bit like most of the games BT have chosen this season as they have made some shocking choices), but Halifax are good value 9/4 with Bet 365 to win the game. Some people might want the draw onside, but I think having a small bet on the no goalscorer at 15/2 (Bet 365) and on 1-1 at 11/2 (Betway and BetVictor) is the best way to cover the win bet and if Halifax win 1-0 via an own goal we have hit the jackpot!
    Solihull v Ebbsfleet (National League)
Opposing Ebbsfleet got us a nice profit last weekend and although their away form is better than their home form I am more than happy to take them on again. They have only lost one on their travels, but that came in a heavy 4-1 defeat at Wrexham. Prior to that they had drawn at Dover which sums up their level at the moment. They did beat Dagenham in their last away game, but again that hardly says a lot and this match should be much tougher. Ebbsfleet were poor at home to Harrogate last Saturday and they again continue to look a fair way of the pace. Solihull weren't great themselves last weekend when losing 2-0 at Barnet, but their away performances haven't been as good as their home ones. So far in 7 home games they have conceded just 3 times and lost just the once to Hartlepool. I have put them up in both their last two home victories and I think they can land a 3rd home win on the bounce. 5/4 with William Hill and Betfred looks a big price to me as I would make it an odds on shot.
Chippenham v Dartford (National League South)
As I have mentioned before Dartford look a million miles away from the team who nearly won the league last season, yet they are still being priced up as if they are. They did manage a 1-1 draw against Billericay in their last league away game, but they have lost 3 of their other 5 without scoring a goal and were hammered 4-1 at Oxford City in the FA Cup last Saturday. Again Chippenham are a side who I have written about in recent weeks and although they cost me the FA Cup acca a couple of weeks ago they have been playing well otherwise. They beat Hendon in the FA Cup easily in the week and at home they have won 4 out of five in the league including beating Billericay. Chippenham should be favourites for this and it is crazy that they aren't. BetVictor's 9/5 is a very attractive price.
Wrexham 2.5pts @ Evs with Skybet
    Aldershot 1pt @ 61/25 with Marathon
    Halifax 1pt at 9/4 with Bet365 No goalscorer 0.5pts @ 15/2 with Bet365 and 1-1 @ 11/2 with Betway and BetVictor

It is FA Cup weekend and yet again the bookies have been slow to price those matches up. Bet365 and BetVictor have so I will wait to see if we get any more prices before putting anything up. As it stands I have 4 bets in the National League for Saturday.
    Aldershot v Halifax
On the face of it the home side probably look on the short side at 5/4 to win this, but I think they look a fair price to do just that. Gary Waddock hasn't minced his words at times this season, but not surprisingly he has been a bit more upbeat of late and he certainly was after Aldershot had got their first away point of the season at Hartlepool last Saturday. It was a good performance from them and Waddock was right to highlight the fact that the new squad are starting to improve and get things together. As I mentioned in the Maidstone preview last week Aldershot battered Maidstone but still lost in their last home game, but that was actually only their 2nd defeat at home this season and they have won 4 of their 6 home games. That is key for me that despite their poor start to the season that has been pretty much down to their away form rather than their pretty solid home form. Halifax have had some tough away games and draws at Sutton and Wrexham are good efforts, although that Sutton match was a dire game in general. Their only win on their travels remains the opening day win at bottom of the table Braintree and given they only managed 2 shots on target against Bromley they were slightly fortunate to get a point last weekend. I think this game is tougher and with Aldershot solid at home and performances improving I think they can continue their rise up the table here.
    Chesterfield v AFC Fylde
The price on Fylde has come in from the silly opening quotes from the bookies which had them as the outsiders for this. The plus is they are unbeaten on the road, but the negative is that they have drawn 6 of their 7 away matches. Strangely given how strong they are going forward at home they can't score on their travels. They have only scored 5 times and 3 of those came in one game at Ebbsfleet. Surely in this game Dave Challinor has to make sure his side are a bit more attacking minded given Chesterfield are making some really poor defensive errors of late. I read a preview last weekend which suggested Chesterfield have defended OK of late, which is just bizarre because as I pointed out last weekend they have certainly not defended OK in recent matches. It has been a comedy of errors really and although they only conceded once against Maidstone it was a bad one to concede. Surely the likes of Danny Rowe are going to be gifted a few chances against a Chesterfield side who don't really look like winning anytime soon. 6/4 is still available with Skybet and Sportingbet and it is still a high enough price for me to want to play.
    Dover v Salford
Another team who have shortened up are Salford which again isn't a surprise. Football can make fools of you sometimes, but I just don't see how Dover can get anything out of this game. They have looked a really poor side in most of their games this season and they were especially bad against Barrow last weekend. Maybe the players will raise themselves for this one, but even so they just don't look good enough and manager Chris Kinnear pretty much hinted at that after the game. Salford on the other-hand are threatening to run away with the league and some of the football they have been playing is some of the best I have seen in this division for a few years. They have just got stronger as the season has gone on and they comfortably beat Maidenhead 3-0 last weekend in what could have been a tricky game for them. As long as they don't drop their standards and get complacent they could really batter Dover this weekend. I think at the very least they should cover the -1 handicap and that is a big price at 12/5 (Betfair/Paddy Power) and looks the best bet in the division this weekend.
    Ebbsfleet v Harrogate
There was a much improved performance from Ebbsfleet last Saturday, but it did come against Dagenham so how much do we read into it? I do think the signing of Reise Allassani who is a player I know well having been at Dulwich last season is a very good one and he was man of the match in the Dagenham game. The big problem for them though has been their home form and given they play a Harrogate side who aren't really showing any signs of slowing down after their flying start to the season I am happy to take Ebbsfleet on. Harrogate were the first team to defeat Boreham Wood at home last weekend and Wood are always hard to beat at home so that is no mean feat. Skybet and BetVictor are 2/1 about an away win and that is too big for me.
    Aldershot 1pt @ 5/4 with BetVictor/William Hill
    AFC Fylde 1pt @ 6/4 with Skybet/Sportingbet
    Salford -1 2pts @ 12/5 with Betfair/Paddy Power

    Bremen-Wolfsburg

In Media this is now the North-Derby. For Bremen it isn´t it...
They have the Derby against Hannover this Season and thats it. So normal Game, but sold out today and i think after last Week lose against Stuttgart - Bremen will be high motivated...
Last Week Bremen lose Defender Veljkovic in first Half with a red Card. Today he is suspended and would be replaced by Langkamp. In normal Form Veljkovic missing will be big blow, but last Games Veljkovic lost a little bit of his Form.
Also with 10 Men last Week against Stuttgart - Bremen was the better Team the whole Time and create many Chances. So motivation will be today high and also Bremen has won last 3 Home Games against Wolfsburg. Bremen will also miss Striker Harnik - but in offensive Bremen have so many Options so he is not that big Blow...
Wolfsburg in last Game - Draw against Gladbach but the whole Season they didn´t impressed me. I write it last Week, that isn´t a team and Labbadia made the best, but i think it´s not good enough to grab something today out of Bremen.
No new important missings on Wolfsburg Side...

It´s a Top-Game and both without a Lose in the League at the Moment...
Most what i read was that Hertha has good Chance not to lose in Bremen. I see it different. Hertha without Grujic which is a very big Blow at the Moment and i think this Game will be very close and the desscion about win or Lose will be made in Midfield. So without Grujic and also without important CD Torunarigha Hertha miss 2 important Players.
On Bremen Side - all Players from last Match are available and nobody important at the Moment are missing.
Important Striker Kruse are coming now in Form and scored his first Goal in last Match against Augsburg.
Problem what i see is that Bremen looks not so good in Defensive at the Moment. Now with Hertha are coming a Team which is on Fire in Offensive, but i think at the Moment they are playing over there Limits. Bremen also in Last 10 Homegames against Berlin without a Lose and having there a 8-2-0 Bilance.

I like the Both2Score here. Schalke are in big Crisis and now they are in Must-Win Situation. Tedesco are good Coach, but they now have there First Crisis of his Coach Carrer in Football. Today they will miss also Defender McKennie which is Blow for Schalke Defensive.
But for me Schalke have big Quality in the whole Squad and for me the big thing not to take Schalke win is there Form.
Freiburg on other Side with first Win in the League against Wolfsburg. Not that big Surprise, but a little Surprise. The Squad are not that deep and good enough in Quality, but i think they want to take the Moment in this Game and for me this will be a close Game. Freiburg will make late dessicon about last Games Man of the Match Sallai.
For me here Both2Score are very possible, because both i think need the Win.

    Hannover - Hoffenheim

For me Hannover is one of my Candidates to Fight for a Place in the League until the end of the Season. They lose in Summer-Transfer Window with Sané they big Key Player and also they made not that good Sign´s to take Hannover on the next Level. So 2nd Season will be very hard for Hannover. So must say first Results are okay, with Draw in Bremen and against Dortmund. But now they lost 2 in a Row and last Game against Nuernberg they play a lot ot the Time with 10 Men.
Also Hoffenheim have also a tough Game at Weekend against Dortmund. But now they are on a good Form, but they need a good Run at the Moment. They Draw a lot of Games - but Coach Nagelsmann want to win every Game and they also played offensive Football. Thats what Hannover at the Moment don´t like. For me here in a Midweek Game Hoffenheim with the better Squad and that can made the difference here.

Saturday was a bit more like it with a superb win for Solihull although Wrexham decided to put in what will probably be their worst performance of the season. The acca was only just denied by an 88th minute equaliser as well. Tuesday sees a full National League fixture list as well as a handful of Evo-Stik Northern Prem games and the FA Cup replays.
    Chesterfield v Maidenhead
It looks a trappy night in the National League as there are teams I would love to oppose but some of them are playing each other or the opposition are too short (Aldershot being an example of the latter). I have out Chesterfield up a couple of times during this dreadful run they are on, but they are still winless since winning their first 3 games. They were shocking on Saturday when losing 3-0 to Gateshead at home where they managed just 2 shots during the match. Martin Allen claimed it was the worst performance from any team that he has managed and it wouldn't surprise me if that was true. He has come out and said they have had a meeting with the players and he hopes to get a response from them on Tuesday night. It might happen, but you have to wonder if Allen is actually capable of getting the best out of his players and I wouldn't even go as far to say if they lost this he won't be in the job after the game. Maidenhead's away form does concern me as they have only won once and lost 4 of the other 5 including at Barrow on Saturday. The win was against Braintree and the draw was against Dagenham so that isn't great, but they played well enough on Saturday and I think Alan Devonshire's men will smell blood here. One thing that does worry me is the amount of travelling they will have to do, but I think it's factored into the price and I am happy to take 15/4 about an away win which for me should be shorter.
Barnet v Havant and Solihull v Dagenham
Solihull were superb on Saturday to beat Bromley 5-0 and they now face a struggling Dagenham side who looked awful at Eastleigh on Saturday in the live game. I can't see Peter Taylor being in the job for too much longer as I imagine the new owners will want to get their own man in who can build a better team than the one they have. As mentioned on Saturday Solihull are very strong at home and are making a mockery of their favourites to go down tag. Barnet are in good form at the moment after a slow start to the season and their only loss of late was against top of the table Leyton Orient and even then they held their own for a long period of the match. I think their injury list told that day and they were good on Saturday when drawing against Fylde. Havant got a draw at Ebbsfleet, but the home side under performed again and I'm not sure it says a great deal. I do get the feeling it will click for them at some point, but it is hard to see it being at Barnet who are playing with plenty of confidence at the moment. Both Barnet and Solihull are around about the same price and the double with Marathon pays 5/2 and that looks a decent price.

Hopefully we won't see a repeat of last Saturday again this season as it was a horrid afternoon. Eastbourne put in their worst performance of the season by a long way and to lose so heavily to a team with 10 men for so long was shocking. Anyway days like that happen in a season so hopefully this weekend I can be back in the money. The National League South/North sides enter the FA Cup this weekend and at this stage no one has priced up any of the matches yet. Should that change and should I fancy something then I will add to this post. It means only the National League has a full fixture list and there are 2 bets I like.
    Solihull Moors v Bromley
Bromley have lost 3 games on the bounce now and they drew the game before so that is 4 without a win. To be fair they didn't play too badly against Salford last weekend and going down to 10 men would not have helped their cause. Manager Neil Smith didn't think it was a red card, but from what I saw on the highlights it seemed justified to me. They have played 5 games away from home and have picked up just two points. It could be argued as well that they have been slightly fortunate to get both as they were 2 down in both matches. Against Wrexham it was a 90th minute own goal and against Maidenhead they scored twice in injury time to pick up a draw. Their season so far has certainly backed up my pre-season thoughts that they would struggle to reach the heights of last season. Solihull on the other-hand have looked anything but relegation candidates, which they were short in the betting for. After 11 games they only sit outside of the play-offs on goal difference and although I had my doubts about Tim Flowers as a manager it is a case of so far so good. They were especially strong at home last season and that has carried on this time around. They are the only team to have beaten Wrexham this season and although they lost to Hartlepool 1-0 in their last home game there is nothing wrong with that give Hartlepool are yet to lose away from home. It might be a game of few goals given Solihull have scored 5 and conceded 3 at home so far this season, but they look in much better shape than their opponents and 29/25 with Marathon looks a good price about a home win.
    Sutton v Wrexham
Sutton losing 4-0 to Boreham Wood on Tuesday night was one of the most surprising results of the season so far. Given Boreham Wood had only scored twice away from home prior to that and Sutton had on conceded twice twice at home it was not a scoreline anyone would have seen coming. It was Sutton's first loss of the season at home, but although they have beaten Salford at home this season, I do think they have generally been playing better away from home. It was interesting to read Paul Doswell's quotes after the draw against Halifax when he spoke about it being a poor game and that the players were struggling with the busy schedule. Given they have had to play an extra game than Wrexham that is not going to help them here. I really don't understand why Wrexham are as big as 14/5 with Bet365. The price is starting to go and I can see them going off no bigger than 2/1 come 3pm Saturday. Wrexham needed a goalscorer last season and they are now capable of scoring goals. They have 18 so far this season and they looked really good when beating Ebbsfleet 4-1 last Saturday. What is also big for them is the fact they have been really hard to score against and they have conceded just 5 times. They look genuine title contenders and although I do expect some sort of response from Sutton I think Werxham will have too much for them and the price looks massive.
    Solihull Moors 2.5pts @ 29/25 with Marathon
    Wrexham 2.5pts 14/5 with Bet365
    FA Cup
So Bet365 have priced up some of the FA Cup games. Why they have chosen these over the others I have no idea. BetVictor I think might be pricing more up, but I can't bet with them so haven't looked at what they have done.
    Acca
Usually I avoid acca's, but the FA Cup does lend itself to them as you get some complete mis-matches. I have had a bit of success with them over the years and I have come up with a 7 team acca that pays just over 5/1 with Bet365. All the teams are at home apart from the first one Torquay. Lymington couldn't believe their luck when they drew Torquay and after beating Lydney in a replay they get their big day. This game is on the BBC website, but it really should be a one sided affair especially with Gary Johnson not wanting a bad result in just his 2nd game in charge. City Of Liverpool have only lost 1 league game, but it is hard to see them causing Chester too many problems. Chippenham should be able to see off Swindon Supermarine and unbeaten Chorley shouldn't have any issues getting past Leek. Hampton & Richmond are flying at the moment and face a poor side in Burgess Hill who have yet to win in the league this season. Kidderminster could easily put a few past Step 6 side Atherstone Town. Finally Wealdstone should have too much for Great Wakering Rovers.
The other reason I like betting on the FA Cup is you get some big priced shocks, but nothing really appeals in this round so it will just be the acca.

A profit on Tuesday, but if only Grantham could have held on to their 2 goal advantage against North Ferriby then it would have been a solid evening's work. To be fair North Ferriby sounded like they deserved a point and it seems I have backed against them in the two games they have played well this season! Anyway onto Saturday and I have 5 bets for the day's action.
    Hartlepool v Eastleigh (National League)
Hartlepool have won 5 of their last 6 games and of course I managed to put them up in the one game they failed to win in that spell. Even so they have lost just once so far this season and although it could be argued they have had a fairly kind fixture list on the whole, they are looking a better side than last season. I think there is just enough value in backing them here as 1 goal could well be enough. Eastleigh have only scored 7 goals all season and have now gone 4 games without scoring. They are in 19th place and you have to wonder if we may see yet another managerial change at the club should things continue on that front. There was more promise from them on Saturday when drawing 0-0 with Fylde, but again they missed some good chances and could only get 2 shots on target. I wouldn't want to go chasing the price down too much, but they should be odds on so a shade of odds against at 101/100 with Marathon is worth taking as my only bet in the division on Saturday.
Eastbourne v Slough (National League South)
I was told about the price on Eastbourne earlier in the week and my first response was that it sounds like they have the prices the wrong way round, because Slough should be 9/4 not Eastbourne. Obviously Eastbourne should have been winners for us last week, but hopefully they can make amends here and get us our money back with interest. What I am about to write is fairly similar to last week. Eastbourne are 4th having lost just once all season (to leaders Woking) and are clearly looking a very different side from the one that nearly went down last season. They are 6 places above Slough and 2 points clear of them, yet somehow Bet365 are 9/4 about them beating them at home. I mean how is that possible? Slough are certainly no mugs and have had a solid start to life at this level, but I would love to know how the bookmakers can make them favourites let alone as strong favourites as they are. They have won their last two and beat Oxford City easily last week, but this should be a much harder game. Even as I look at the prices now I am still thinking that the bookies think Slough are at home and Eastbourne are away and even then I would still make Eastbourne a value bet. It is a crazy price and like I say hopefully Eastbourne can get the 3 points this week.
St Albans v Concord Rangers (National League South)
I nearly put Concord up as a bet again last week as I thought they could bounce back from their two surprisingly heavy defeats and although they didn't win they did get a deserved point against league leaders Woking. Given St Albans have conceded 17 and scored 19 we could be on for a bit of a goalfest here. St Albans have won their last 2 games, but needed a dramatic 3 goals in the last 2 minutes to beat an East Thurrock side who had only scored 3 goals prior to the match. I know Concord haven't won in 4, but two good draws have been either side of the heavy losses and I think they are a better side than St Albans. 63/20 looks a huge price to me about an away win and Concord owe us one that's for sure.
Truro v Hampton & Richmond (National League South)
This is a risky bet, but I think there is value in backing the home side. Hampton have won 5 of their last 6 games and that is a run of form that has seen them climb to 3rd in the table. It has surprised me, but it is hard to knock them at the moment given their performances. I do though think we can take them on on Saturday. I thought it might take time for the new management team to sort Truro out, but they had an instant impact last week when they ran out comfortable winners against Gloucester. They put in a decent performance and it seems the players want to play for the new manager. Like I say it is taking a chance, but at 100/30 I think there is certainly value to be had.
Bradford Park Avenue v Altrincham (National League North)
Bradford have carried on from last season when they reached the play-offs as they currently sit in 3rd place at the moment. They have lost just twice all season and although they will be disappointed to have lost 5-3 to Chester last time out I think they can bounce back from that here. Altrincham have only won twice all season and they have lost 4 of their last 6 with their only win in that spell coming against a struggling Darlington side. They have quite a few injury issues as well which isn't helping and they were well beaten last Saturday by Curzon. I would make Bradford shorter than 6/4 (Marathon) to get back to winning ways.
    Hartlepool 1pt @ 101/100 with Marathon
    Eastbourne 2.5pts @ 9/4 with Bet365

Tuesday wasn't great with only Sutton winning and it was a losing night. The FA Cup means there are no Step 3 matches this weekend so the focus is on the National League's and I have 8 bets in the 3 divisions. It's a little more than I usually like, but there does seem some good bets and hopefully a profit to be had.
Barrow v Dagenham & Redbridge (National League)
I got Barrow wrong on Tuesday night and by all accounts they played well in the 2nd half and deserved to pick up at least a point. They have been performing well at home so far this season and Tim Flowers the Solihull manager admitted that Barrow were better than Solihull despite the fact they had beaten the home side 2-1. Dagenham may well have won their first game of the season on Tuesday night, but that did come against the worst side in the division in Braintree and this game is a much stiffer test for them. I think a shade of odds against (53/50) with Marathon is value about the home side and I would still be happy with the even money available with a few bookies as well.
Eastleigh v AFC Fylde (National League)
Eastleigh only managed 4 subs on Tuesday night against Maidenhead and one of those was the sub keeper such is their injury crisis at the moment. That is worrying at this stage of the season and they have managed just one win at home losing their other 4. Fylde were beaten by Salford on Tuesday night, their first loss of the season, and by all accounts Salford were really good. Fylde have drawn 3 of their 4 away games and that is a slight concern, but after a good performance at Ebbsfleet last week you would expect them to be more than up to winning this. Marathon's 38/25 is too big in my view and they should be nearer even money.
Harrogate v Havant & Waterlooville (National League)
I can't believe BT Sport chose to broadcast Havant v Aldershot on Wednesday night. Given there was no other football on they had a great chance to showcase the league and draw people in. Instead floating viewers were served up with a really poor game of football between two sides struggling for wins. Havant won 2-1, but they didn't deserve to win although Aldershot struggled to defend two set pieces and that was their downfall. Aldershot were the better side, but they were clearly lacking confidence in the final 3rd. Havant now travel to a Harrogate side who are top of the table after beating Gateshead on Tuesday night. They remain unbeaten as well and it is hard to see how Havant can beat them given what I saw on Wednesday night and the general form of the two sides. Evens is available with Skybet, Marathon and Betfred and I think it should really be nearer the 4/6 mark.
Ebbsfleet v Gateshead (National League live on BT Sport at 5.15pm)
Strangely Ebbsfleet's away form has been much better than their home form so far this term having won once and lost 3. They haven't had the easiest matches though and they have performed well in the games they have lost. It could be claimed that this is a tough game as Gateshead have started better than people were predicting before the season started, but after winning their first 3 games they have only one once in the following 6. That came last Saturday when beating mangerless Maidstone. They did push Harrogate close on Tuesday night with Harrogate scoring the winner late on, but they have been better at home and given I think Ebbsfleet's performances have been better than their points tally at home suggest, I think they can win the live game on Saturday. Marathon are 51/50 and I would have it around the 4/5 mark myself.
Dartford v Eastbourne (National League South)
I did not expect Eastbourne to be doing so well so far this season and it is a surprise for me to see them sitting in 3rd place in the table. Fair play to them though as the only game they have lost so far is against top of the table Woking so they deserve to be there on merit at this early stage. Key for them is the fact they have the 2nd best defence in the league having conceded just 6 times so far and 2 of those came in the 2-1 defeat to Woking. This probably won't be a game of many goals as they have only scored 9 times and Dartford have scored just 5 and conceded 9. The 7/2 on offer though with Bet365 and Marathon is huge on an away win. Dartford look a shadow of the side who nearly won the title last season and currently sit in 16th place 5 points behind their opponents on Saturday. I put Wealdstone up at a big price to beat them on their own patch a couple of weeks ago and they lost 3-0 that afternoon. Granted that is their only defeat at home so far, but how on earth can a team in 3rd after 8 games having lost just once be 7/2 against a team who are 5 points worst off and have only won 3 out of 8 games having lost 4 of them?
Gloucester City v Truro (National League South)
Speaking of mean defences and teams who don't score many in Gloucester we have another one I am going to back. They have scored just 6 and conceded 8, but that doesn't tell the full story as they have only conceded once in their last 4 games. I was at the game against Dulwich a couple of weeks ago and I was really impressed with the way City defended and on loan keeper Matt Yates looks a keeper destined for better things and he is arguably the best keeper in the league at the moment. At the other end scoring goals has been an issue and three of their 4 wins have been 1-0 so far. They did score 2 against Hungerford last week, but since that game City have re-signed Harry Williams who scored 10 goals in 16 appearances for the club spread over the last 3 seasons. He should add plenty to the forward line and with a mean defence they will be hard to beat. Truro have got a new manager from Taunton and he obviously did a great job to get them promoted last season, but he will surely need longer than a few days to sort a team out who have yet to win so far this season. Marathon's 123/100 looks a huge price about a home win in my opinion.
Torquay v Chippenham (National League South)
Torquay's 8 matches so far this season have seen just 8 goals! They have conceded 3 and scored 5 and their performances so far have been pretty average. As I wrote last week when opposing Chippenham they look capable on their day of beating anyone in the league and then they duly went and beat Concord 4-1. They have a form sequence of LWLWLWLW so on that they should lose on Saturday, but sequence will end at some point and they could be just the sort of side to take a big price about in matches this season as like I say on their day they can beat anyone in the league. They arguably have a better side than Torquay and I just don't see how they can be as big as 14/5 with Marathon and Bet365.
Darlington v AFC Telford (National League North)
Just the one bet in this league on Saturday, but I am really keen on Telford. Darlington have not had a good start to the season having won just once and losing 4 times. They have quite a few injuries at the moment although to be fair to them they did keep Alfreton down to just the 1 goal last week. Telford have surprised me so far this season in the same way Eastbourne have and they have yet to be beaten. They sit in 2nd place in the table and are 12 points in front of their hosts on Saturday. Telford should be favourites for this so to be getting 177/100 about an away win looks cracking value to me.

Neubs got a reaction from Gidds in Non-League Predictions > September 4th/5th
I´m on Leyton and the other Bet are a Both2Score - Yes on the Bromley-Barnet Game...
For me Leyton are in superb Form and grab a late Goal for the Win at Chesterfield. Solihull on other Side also on good Form, but for me they are a little bit overrated at the Moment. They was not the best Travlers last Season and this Season they also showing not there best Performances in Defensive. That can be the differnt in the Game against Leyton.

Other Game is Bromley-Barnet. Both are in good Form and Bromley without a lose in 4 Games and Barnet without a Lose in 3 Games. So both want to take something in this Game to look more into the Play Off Places. So for me there is in 1X2 a open Game where both can grab the Win. But for me it looks like a 1:1 or something else - where both Teams can find the Net.

    Leyton @ 1.95 4/10 bet365
    Bromley-Barnet - Both2Score - Yes @ 1.75 4/10 bet365

Neubs reacted to Darran in Non-League Predictions > August 27th
A profitable day again on Saturday which was good and hopefully we can continue the good run on Monday. Sorry for this being briefer than usual and mentioning no prices but I am a bit short of time.
    Aldershot v Sutton (National League)
I fear for Aldershot. They have looked miles away so far this season and Gary Waddock's mention after Saturday's game that there are things going on that the general public don't know about is really concerning. Only a guess, but I wonder if there are money issues there again. Whatever it is though it is clearly having an effect on the pitch. Sutton have looked decent so far and looked like they will be in the play-off hunt again. The price looks too high to me and Sutton should be favs.
    Eastleigh v Ebbsfleet (National League)
Eastleigh's manager was getting in the excuses on Saturday for this game as he mentioned after Saturday's match that the league were crazy to fit so many games into such a short space of time, although if we see a repeat of last seasons weather he will be glad they have! Ebbsfleet are looking pretty strong and it was another good performance on Saturday. Again they probably should be favourites for this.
Oxford City v Wealdstone (National League South)
Another away side who are too big a price and should be favs. I had City on my shortlist for Saturday, but they were forced to have the sub keeper play up front in the win over St Albans and that put me off and I am glad it did as they had to rely on a late goal to get a point against Weston. Wealdstone look good and the draw against Concord was another example of how well they look likely to go this season. They should be able to get 3 points here.
Slough v Dulwich (National League South)
I am chancing Dulwich at a big price after seeing them on Saturday. They lost 1-0 to Gloucester although it was through poor keeping at a corner more than anything. To be fair Gloucester defended well and the keeper for me was man of the match, but I thought Dulwich deserved at least a point from the game. They are still getting used to the league, but they are creating chances and look threatening. They will click at some stage and I think they are more then capable of a top half finish. Slough have been a bit inconsistent so far and losing to East Thurrock on Saturday was a poor result.
Wingate & Finchley v Enfield (Bostik Premier)
Enfield look a big price here to carry on their strong start to the season. They were one of my ante-post picks so it is pleasing to see them start so well and they put 6 past Burgess Hill on Saturday. This game will be tougher, but if they are in the same form they have been so far then they can pick up another 3 points.
North Ferriby v South Shields (Evo-Stik Northern Premier)
I am amazed South Sheilds are odds against for this. North Ferriby look like they could do a Hyde and drop right down to Step 4 having been at Step 1. They have not looked good so far and obviously South Shields are strong favourites to win the title. They bounced back from the Farsely defeat where they had 9 men for over an hour to have a comfortable win on Saturday. It will be disappointing if they can't win this.
    Sutton 2pts
    Ebbsfleet 1pt
    Wealdstone 2pts
    Dulwich 1pt
    Enfield 1pt
    South Shields 3pts
