never in doubt with Peifan Lei Stevens match is actually this evening. Had a quick look at the afternoon matches and will take Cahill to beat Highfield. Highfields form has been pants recently, losing to Hugill at the Turkish and Michael White, he lost 4-1 to him. The win over Selby was impressive but it came at a time that Selby has come out with his mental issues. Cahill has looked decent in his two wins over O'Neill and Davis. He was 5-4 down to Davis and battled back. I wonder if Highfield has it in him today.

For tomorrow i definetely think that Lajovic-Dimitrov will see over 21.5 games@ 1.89 and Lajovic to take a set @ 1.69 with efbet. Lajovic is a real fighter and he showed that in the previous round against Krajinovic when he succeeded to make a comeback at 1:4 in the 2nd set. As i said before, Monte Carlo clay is Grigor's favourite clay tournament and he will no doubt give his best. Historically these two usually make tight games and i cannot see a clear favourite once again.

It has tobe Harris. Grigor has had good results in Monte Carlo and is arguably one of his favourite surfaces. I expect him to be fully focused here. 2:0

Jackson Page looked good in the last round and I will take him to beat Carty today. Page won the only h2h on a deciding leg back in 2020 but more importantly, he scored very well in his 6-1 win over O'Sullivan. One century and 3 50+ breaks in that match. Carty comes into this with little form after losing to Ajaib at the Gibraltor Open and Page will have alitle bit more cutting edge after already playing a game here
5pts Page to beat Carty 4/5 willhill

I'm going to take on Bond in the 2.30pm matches. I backed Vahedi to get through this group partly due to the form of Bond and despite Kleckers beating Vahedi, I also feel like Kleckers will beat Bond, also. Kleckers scored decent enough against Vahedi but largely it was Vahedi being toilet. He did manage a couple of 50+ breaks though which is more than Bond has managed in his last few matches. I think Kleckers can progress to the next quallie game today
4pts Kleckers to beat Bond evens willhill

Here are the matches tomorrow. Well, today I suppose.
    9.30am
    Si Vs Collumb
    Anda Vs Kazakov
    Jiankang Vs Astley
    Jianbo Vs Judge
    2.30pm
    Hill Vs Davies
    Burden Vs McGuigan
    D.Jones Vs Wongharuthai
    Patrick Vs M.White
    7.30pm
    Pagett Vs J.White
    Miah Vs Zifan
    Heathcote Vs Mertens
    Kleckers Vs Vahedi

So, there are a few that I like in these lot and the first one is Pagett to beat Jimmy White. Jimmy hasn't won since August, when he beat Aaron Hill. It was very early in the season and since then he has gone on to lose 11 matches in a row and so I think the 5/6 on offer is actually quite kind. Pagett may not be a world class player but he has won a few matches more than Jimmy and more importantly, he scores abit better. The other bet I like is Vahedi to beat Kleckers. I've posted about Vahedi and what a chance he has on qualifying but one thing I do think will happen is that he beats Kleckers. Finally, I think the bookies have gone abit over the top with Hammad Miah. Yes, he should beat Zifan but no way is he 8/15 to beat anybody and Zifan on his day could spoil that price of 6/4 and I reckon it's worth a couple points.
6pts Pagett to beat J. White 5/6 paddypower
5.5pts Vahedi to beat Kleckers 8/11 paddypower
2pts Zifan to beat Miah 6/4 paddypower

1pt treble - Pagett, Vahedi & Astley treble 5/1 paddypower

I just think we'll see at least one breaker on this one. Wouldn't be surprised if the odds were shorter so I'm gonna chase the tie-break here.
[Over 1.5 TBs in the match is at 7(!). I'm chasing this one as well].

LOL, again Sakkari winning and the opponent quits.
Very hard to make a case against any of the favorites on the woman's side. Swiatek, 4 matches all won after losing the 1st set. I thought Halep played very well yesterday. Definitely more proactive and aggressive. Hit the ball well. If I had to go for 1 upset it would be Rybakina over Sakkari. Rybakina serving very very well, and when she plays like this, her whole game gets a huge boost and lift. Would be going over 21.5 games here.
In the men's there are lots of close matches.  I think Brooksby beats Norrie. Just playing great tennis, with lots of confidence, but Norrie is a tricky customer.  The problem for Norrie is that Brooksby is returning the ball particularly well. 6-3 6-2 over Tsitsipas, 6-0 6-3 Khachanov, 6-1  6-4 Carballes Baena suggest a guy that is breaking serve and dominating. I don't think the Norrie serve can survive the onslaught.
For me, ALcaraz v Monfils, with a price of 3.3 to 10 on Alcaraz is ridiculous. Monfils handled Medvedev very well, and Medvedev is a far tougher customer than Alcaraz. I would be going Monfils here, or the over 21.5 games. This will be a close, hard fought match.
I do like Fritz over de Minaur. For me de Minaur is like a super lightweight fighting a heavyweight. He can land blows, but they are more annoying than hurtful. He just doesn't have the weapons to get enough free points, to win this type of match up. Perfect for Fritz here, who should win behind his dominating, repetitive serve.
For me most of the other games are just a lottery.  Again, picking 1 upset, I would probably go for Hurkacz over Rublev, simply because he has beaten him the last 2 times they have played.

Yeah, you can't have those demons in your head. You could see on Wenbo's face that he never once thought he would win. Jak Jones done same thing last week with Trump to be fair, to a less extent. So many players just buckle against the name instead of the performance.  Few I like tomorrow
First of all I think Jiahui is worth covering on the handicap. Jiahui actually beat Ding the last time they played and whilst I obviously want Ding to win, he seems to go from stunning pots to silly mistakes shot-by-shot. Secondly, I'm going to take Selt to beat UnNooh. I had Selt to win against Xintong and although Xintong was pretty poor, Selt looked decent. More so though, Selt has won all 6 of their h2hs. That's crazy numbers.
Finally, I reckon Jak Jones is worth a punt against Murphy. Jak has beat Mark Allen and Vafaei in the last two and I think he is playing better than Murphy.
    6pts Jiahui (+2.5 frames) to beat Ding 4/6 bet365
5pts Selt to beat Un Nooh 11/10 bet365

two for me tomorrow. First bet is Zhengyi to beat Yuelong. Hard to know what we're going to get with Fan, after winning his first ranking event. Alot of the time, it's worth laying in this scenario but getting evens about the form containing against Yuelong is worth the price. My other bet on the day will be Maguire to beat Un-Nooh with the hanidacp. Un-Nooh is bang out of form right now and in a tournament where there are alot of ranking points at stake, that brings more pressure for Un-Nooh.
4pts Zhengyi to beat Yuelong evens betfair
    5pts Maguire (-1.5 frames) to beat Un-Nooh 11/10 betfair

    Manchester City vs Manchester United
The big game of the weekend in the Premier League comes our way at 4:30pm GMT on Sunday afternoon when bitter local rivals Manchester City and Manchester United go head-to-head at the Etihad Stadium. Can the visiting team put a spanner in the works of the title race as they look to earn a crucial win over the league leaders in an effort to boost their own Champions League qualification hopes?
Manchester City are now just 3 points clear of 2nd placed Liverpool having played a game more so there could not be much more pressure heading into this game. Pep Guardiola will have to manage without his star centre back Ruben Dias for this encounter. The Citizens have won 15 of their last 17 league matches to remain on top spot. However, Guardiola has lost 4 home matches against United which is his worst record in that regard than against any other club. One crazy statistic is that Raheem Sterling has failed to score in 23 appearances against United. There is a hope that City can pull off the league double over United in a single season for the second time under Guardiola with that feat last happening back in the 2018/19 campaign.
Manchester United appear to have ridden the storm of recent weeks with all the controversy and negativity that has surrounded the club. Ralf Rangnick's men are in 4th position in the league and 2 points inside the Champions League qualification places at the time of writing. The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last 8 Premier League games. They have been the first team to score in 7 of those 8 matches. The team has also managed to score in their last 20 away matches played in all competitions. There is an opportunity here to win 4 league and cup games away in a row against City. This would be the first time that has happened since 2000. The squad is boosted by the news that both central midfielder Scott McTominay and striker Edinson Cavani are set to return from absence.
Recent meetings suggests that favour could be with Manchester United here with their awesome away record against Manchester City plus the away side in this fixture has won 7 of the last 9 encounters. I'm not sure I can see that happening here but we never know. The absence of Dias is a blow for City and United are in a rich vein of form. I'm swaying between a home win and a draw but will back the City win. This could be a very enthralling Manchester derby.

One single bet for me tonight and it's Anda to beat Sijun. I think Anda should be favourite tonight. He's beaten an in-form McGill and Joyce here and pushed Ronnie to a deciding leg last week. He beat Sijun in their only h2h and Sijun really made hard work of beating McLeod. I'll also throw a couple points at a boosted 4-fold with betfair which includes players of whom I think all should realistically win. If I had a worry of any then it would be Jimmy. It's hard to gauge how well Ferg is playing. He has had a terrible Maguire and Un-Nooh so far.

onto the matches and in the morning session I'll take Lu Ning to beat Matthew Stevens. Lu Ning is definitely in the better form of the two and I do get the feeling that Stevens would be a bigger underdog if we wasn't in Wales. Last week Ning won 5-0 against fellow Chinese player, Peifan Lei. He hit 4 50+ breaks in that to qualify. He also hit 3 50+ breaks in the 4-2 win over Walker last week, here. He has only lost matches recently when the other player has really stepped it up and I think he beats Stevens. Stevens beat Joe O'Connor to get here and he did it well with 4 50+ breaks in the 4-1 win. It was a good result and performance but in general, we haven't seen anything like that from Stevens this season.

standard, after going 3-0 down, Boiko wins 4-3.  atleast Hugill has covered the handicap and has a chance to win at 3-3 against "Ball-run Bingtao"
One more for tonight and I'm going to take Jiahui to beat Gary Wilson. Wilson has been in some terrible form recently and has lost matches to the likes of Kleckers, Even when he wins, he is making a meal of matches that he really should be winning with ease. I think Jiahui is worth backing tonight.

This gets underway in the morning. Few I like and the first is the 1pm match Boiko against Liam Davies. Davies is just 15yrs old and Boiko just 16. I feel like Boiko just has that extra bit of experience though and has played more matches this season. I think he wins 4-1/4-2. Next up, the 2pm match, I think Hugill is worth a shot to beat Yan Bingtao. Bingtao is playing some good stuff recently but 7/2 Hugill is worth a punt. He has beaten Lisowski and Carter last week and was giving Ronnie a game for a while.  It's not ideal that he's playing a player also hitting some form but 7/2 is worth a shot.
I wanted to take on Ronnie with a bet on Craigie too but I reckon Ronnie will probably pull out after losing that final.

I give Fan his chances today and I think the +2.5 handicap is plenty enough to take the 8/11 on offer. I think the evening match between McGill and Wenbo should be high scoring galore as Wenbo has hit a century in 3 of his last 3 matches and holds the 2nd highest break of the tournament and McGill has also hit 3 centuries. I think it's worth taking the 6/4 on offer for no player to win 3 frames in a row. It's a "first to 5" so I think there's value in that. I was tempted too by Wenbo hitting the highest break but I'll stick with this.
    5.5pts Zhengyi (+2.5 frames) to beat Gilbert 8/11 bet365

Yeah, 4-3 up, Higginson. Loses 5-4. What can you do? I thought Vafaei was awful. I watched that match. McGill played well but Vafaei was oddly poor. I will go with 2 today in the afternoon session. Jordan Brown to beat Dott is the first one. Brown has already beaten Selby in this event and thrahed Guodong 5-0. He only scored 2 50+ breaks in that 5-0 win but he didn't really need any more than that. Against Selby he scored a century and 2 50+ breaks, too. Dott has won a couple of deciding legs against Yuelong and Mark Davis. H2H shows Brown winning the last match and it could be a close match but I fancy Brown to see it through.
The other one I like at bigger prices is Zhengyi to beat Bingtao. Zhengyi is trolling me hard at the moment. I think he is playing some great stuff and he loses the first time I back him and then follows it up by beating Kyren Wilson when I don't back him. 4/1 is a big price for him to beat Bingtao.

This got started yesterday. Not too many matches have appealled so far and the quality is somewhat lacking but there are a couple tonight that I like the look of. Here is the evening session :
    Burden Vs N. Robertson
    Murphy Vs Saengkham
    Mann Vs Un-Nooh
    Vafaei Vs McGill
    Higginson Vs Maflin
    Jak Jones Vs Trump
The 3 I like are Saengkham, Vafaei and Higginson.
Much of the Saengkham liking is the form of Shaun Murphy. He's still winning games and he hit a period of good play at the Northern Ireland Open, with a Quarter Final spot and a L16 spot at the German Masters but losing to the likes of Patrick and Jiahui, it's showing a lack of consistency. I think Saengkham is a decent price.
Vafaei takes on McGill and whilst it's been a couple of close matches, Vafaei has won the last 2 head-to-heads. Vafaei is having a real good season. He's made the L16 of the English Open and the UK Championship and then won the Shootout. I think his form is worth backing over McGills, who is playing decent stuff but I'd favour Vafaei.
Finally I'll take Higginson to beat Maflin. After a poor start to the season, a L16 Shootout spot has reignited Higginson. He has beaten Vafaei recently and looked very good in the 5-0 thrashing of O'Neill.
    5pts Vafaei to beat McGill 11/10 bet365
4pts Higginson to beat Maflin 6/4 betfair
    4pts Saengkham to beat Murphy 13/8 bet365

You realize that if the ethical commission investigates the game, Dimitrov would be convincing them that ,,yes, i am that idiot who was just passing the one legged guy the ball, not making him moving around and just waiting  for him to make mistakes on his own, while i was the one acutally making them, and there wasn't anything criminal here i am just like that for years''...

My point of view on today´s finals. Last few days were not that good as previous weeks, so just an accumulator today. Anyway, i watched some matches and highlights so feeling is good.
    FAA - Rublev 1 @1.63
Rematch from Amsterdam 8 days ago. Felix continues his journey to 2nd title in two weeks. If you look at the scoreline, he could win there even 2:0. He is more reliable than Rublev, who lost sets in every match here in Marseille. I think this will be crucial today - consistency. Rublev can take sets from any player on ATP tour, but Felix will play smart and take every UE from him, so Rublev will have to risk everything and this can end up fast. FFA had very though opponent in semifinal - Safiulin, who played a great tournament.
Draper - van Rijthoven over 21.5 games @1.63
Challenger Forli is played on hard indoor surface. van Rijthoven is my common ´´customer´´ on that type of bets.  He can play tiebreaks with low quality players, but at the same time he is very dangerous for most of average players on hard courts. He is even favourite today, but I wouldn´t underestimate Draper, who showed his skills on main tournaments and won this one about month ago. Both players have high ace rate, and this odds for 21.5 games limit is a must bet.
    Norrie - Opelka over 22.5 games @1.56
Opelka amazed me in this two weeks. If he wasn´t playing with Milmann 3 hours I would definitely take him as a winner here. He had long matches here and fatigue can be a factor. Still he is pretty much unbreakable on his serve and Norrie shouldn˝t be favourite here. I watched his match against Korda, who outplayed him in 2nd and end of 3rd set. He had service for the match but then by some strange errors he throw it all away. Bad match from both players. Norrie raised his form in last weeks, we have to admit that. I expect some easier service holds for both players and at least one tiebreak.
    Alcaraz - Schwartzman 1 @1.37
I had a bet on Ruud in last weeks final, where Schwartzman even took first set, but then Ruud completely demolished him in 3rd set. When I thought he recovered well and he will take a walk to title this week, he already had big troubles on this way - Cerundolo and Andujar. I´m wondering what can he even do against Alcaraz, who is playing outstanding in Rio. Berettini and Fognini are his last trophies and you can´t imagine much tougher challenge on clay than this 2 Italians. His game is full of winners and good service performance, so I thinf Schwartzman will have very hard job to be competitive, since he has no real weapons at the moment.
