Went to the sandgren/kypson match last night and wow was impressed by kyp..hes a local kid from durham nc and crowd was all pulling for him.Hes really good in the rallies vs tennys and trys alot of drop shots.Good control and decent serve..Should be able to handle rinky..but rinky will Have support as he is from UNC.I think kyp has the advantage with rallies and will stay away from net play as rinky is a superb dubs player as we all know..

Anyone get the feeling that Kasatkina is very motivated to defend those points.Thought it quite weird before the tourney started that with a semi finalist her odds were so high.Think she can make the final.
Sabalenka has seemed to correct that serve but stephens is def no slouch and has just as many majors as her opponent.Sloan is such a weird player.This may be just like the US open where she came out of nowhere to win it.Just seems to lurk around 50 in the rankings then catch fire some tourneys.Like a better version of Cornet.Dont think she will be intimidated at all tomm.

available but saw Felix at 16-1 for most season aces.Finished second to isner last year .Isner was +150 and thats 0 value with his wrist injury recovery.Felix will go deep in tourneys this year and even though Big John led with half the matches played as Felix no way hes serving at 100% all year.Plus hes admitted to only playing certain tourneys at his age.

Have to say as much as I despise Kyrgios personally hes going to be ranked here with his last few weeks of performance.So hes going to be very dangerous .Hes no longer a floater..IMHO he should be second favorite to Medvedev.Key is the weather in NY and his fitness.The schedule makers now will probably give him later matches with the absence of Joker and maybe Nadal and just the fact he is a ratings darling whether you like him or not,so this will play to his favor.

Hi FL, I'd like to give you a real in depth answer to your fair and valid question. Though I will be the first to hold my hands up and say I watch very minimal tennis. It mainly came down to price and the fact that when I looked through both players recent results profiles (last 6 or 7 competitions) and neither player had been progressing far in their respective competitions. This as well as Min had last her last few matches 2-1 which rightly or wrongly and maybe even naively said to me that Min has been competitive in her losses and not a complete forlorn hope at the price she was going off at.
I think the main point I'm making here is, I am most definitely new to betting on the sport of tennis and I am just enjoying the journey of exploring the player profiles angle and see where it takes me. I am never going to be a guy who watches copious amounts of tennis so if anyone is following my selections they should definitely know that and bet accordingly.
There are far more wiser minds on here who have a superb knowledge of the sport like yourself, @Torque @CzechPunter @matrixman and a few others whose names I forget off the top of my mind to mention (apologies) whose posts I have read that has inspired me to explore the tennis betting world.
Hope that kind of answers your question in a long rambling way mate lol.
