I don't buy the odds offered by bookers. 1.79 for Musetti against 2.02 for Nishikori....
Yes, the guy won against Mayer (didn't watch the game) and Wawrinka (who either felt bad or was not interested in that game. Other than that he played agains average players in the last months (lost some games against average players as well... Altmaier, Alcaraz).
On the other side we have Nishikori, who did not play for a long time. Lost his first clay game against Kecmanovic (winning 1 set) and than won against Ramos in Rome.
I think that Nishikori has a good trend, having a first win on clay, and has much more experience. My guess is that tomorrow the odds will inverse.

I can see the merits of backing Carreno-Busta, but personally I'd want a higher price. As it is, I don't think it's worth backing either player. If I was forced to take something in the match it would probably be overs in the set market, as I don't think this will be finished in straight sets.

Don't think the odds on Carreno Busta (2.38 unibet) are appropriate. Both played pretty good so far. Shapo had stronger opponents, that's sure but Busta played great against Djokovic and was close to take first set if no...
The head-to-head is 3:1 for Pablo as well. For me it's more a 50/50 game.

I’ve watched a little bit of “Sabalenka” and she outplayed herself with a lot of double errors and unforced errors. Wouldn’t put that on Pegula.

Anything but a clear win of Mertens over Pegula would surprise me. Pegula played 2 more matches in quallies so Mertens will be fresher. The quality is on her side as well. I think that odds on Mertens should be lower than 1.4 @unibet

Good picks @darko08, however, I've watched the game of Lajovic against Martinez and Lajovic was not so bad. He was just relaxed and did not push the gas pedal so much. And that was his first game on clay in this season. For me odds should be closer to an even pair. @2.62 for Lajovic seems too much. After all, according to statistics, Lajovic is not so bad on clay.
 
Update: @darko08 meanwhile a good start from Ruud

Very strange game by Krainovic at the end of second set. He was walking around between points so energically but, at the same time didn’t fight for reachable balls almost at all and did so many mistakes.
He took it in the end against tired Pospisil but I would not rely on Kraj in the next round.

Polmans - Kukushkin. Kukushkin to win at ~1.5 unibet.
 
Does anyone see the reasons why the odds on Kukushkin have risen from 1.3x to 1.5 ? He is a much more experienced player and hist 2019 run on hard courts is 51%. On the other side Polmans has played almost only challenger events.
If there are no health issues on his side, I think the odds on the Kazah guy should be much lower, so 1.5 looks great in this context.

Juventus has returned from a stoppage time. Today with the return of Cristiano Ronaldo I think he has the first reason for victory. Atletico have a difficult time at home and will be difficult to get away with from Turin

Tsitsipas has made a great challenge and exhausted himself but NADAL has showed why he is the current #1 in the world by defeating him 6-7, 6-4, 7-5.  Therefore I will take TSITSIPAS to loose in the SF against FEDERER or THIEM - depending on the last R-R match - who is more rested;

Taking the more motivated Nadal -2.5 vs Tsitsipas who has already qualified for the SF.  Nadal has to win to have any chance of playing the SF depending on the outcome of the last round-robin match. Tsitsipas should not be exerting himself too much in this match to reserve his energy for the SF.

Both of them come after first round wins and seem to be in shape. I think there will be a close game but the second year presence of Zverev on London courts (that fit Sascha's game according to his results) will should him a slight advantage.

Right. As much as I admire Berrettini's heroic efforts from this season, he's unproven against the really top guys and he has the worst possible draw for the first round, as Djokovic will have to be in full focus with no qualification guaranteed and with every single set counting for something at the start of the tournament. That's why I think that there's some value even in such an obvious and public bet. No matter how you look at it, this is a must-win match for Djokovic - and chances are that he's going to grab the win without too many difficulties.
