The big game in the Championship this weekend is the 7:45pm kick-off on Friday night from Elland Road where early pace-setters Leeds host Middlesbrough in a top-of-the-table clash. Can Marcelo Bielsa's side keep up their fast start to the season or will the more progressive style of Tony Pulis and his men be too much?

Leeds have been emphatic with their displays so far. The Lilywhites have taken 13 points from a possible 15 in their first 5 league games. The only time they dropped points was an away draw to a Swansea team that have started the season quite well on the pitch. The most impressive statistic is that Leeds are averaging nearly 3 goals per game having scored 14 already this season.

Middlesbrough are looking to build on last season's play-off disappointment. Pulis invested wisely over the summer and it appears that the losses of Ben Gibson to Burnley and Adama Traore to Wolves haven't been as devastating as was expected. Boro have won four on the bounce now and have done so keeping four clean sheets and scoring 7 goals. It's the early form of title challengers.

In a game where it's the division's best attack versus the division's most effective defence something is going to have to prevail superior. Given that Leeds are at home and have been so brilliant with their fluid passing style it seems this will be Middlesbrough's biggest test to date. I can see them standing strong for the majority of the game but a fifth consecutive clean sheet could be just beyond them. I think Leeds could sneak this one but it's close. I wouldn't be surprised by the draw. Anyone getting on former Boro striker Patrick Bamford to score the winner?

I think your prediction is good because the both teams are good but Leeds will win.
