Can't see a reason to stop opposing Derby. Last season they usually found a way to lose and they did that against Peterborough, conceding 2 in the extended injury time. Another injury to their main striker won't help. Hull lost 3-0 at home to QPR even so Hull still created plenty of chances against a decent side, this is easier!
Hull are just the right side of even money with SBK which is just about big enough for me.

Stats from the game show Cardiff were effective at creating chances from the flanks tonight. As people have already pointed out, this is an area where Peterborough seem vulnerable.
I watched the Derby game and the Posh left back seemed a bit out of his depth.

Dawn Raider 14/1 into 5/1 in the 5:35 Bangor. Dropped to a good handicap mark (runs in this chase off 105, highest hurdles mark 128), and found a weak looking race if they have a plot going. Couldn't fancy it on recent form but I'll follow the money.

1.4/1 against Millwall, should be worth taking.
-
I went Bournemouth pre-season, and I still think they will improve as they get players back but I've had a good bet on Fulham to win the league at 7/2. Watched their opening couple of games and been seriously impressed. Look really well balanced with plenty of flair in the final third and lots of steel in the midfield.

Fulham and WBA 2 up at halftime so it was cheap enough to lay them to lock in some profit.

Just done a little treble. Peterborough to beat Derby, even though Posh haven't made the best start I want to keep opposing Derby.
Fulham should have beaten Middlesbrough in the opening game and I'll give them another chance here, Wilson looked a real threat and should help give Mitrovic the ammunition he needs this season.
West Brom looked good against Bournemouth and probably should have won, seems like they've adapted to the new manager immediately and I'd fancy them to beat most teams at home.
Treble better than 8/1 with SBK. Will reload with a double if Derby get something in the early kick off.

Forest drifted from 1/2 to 13/8...bit odd.
Bit shorter now and not bothering with that lineup, hope Carlvalho has a good game, he's a little wizard.

Bit frustrating from Huddersfield, had more than enough dangerous set pieces to get the 2nd goal and missed a big chance on 81 mins. But a draw probably about right.
-
Huddersfield drifted from 8/11 out to 11/4 because of 4 players and the manager missing with Covid. Seems like an overreaction to me. Derby were so bad at the back last season and look even worse now with Stearman, Davies and Forsyth..surely Huddersfield will get plenty of chances and Rhodes still knows where the goal is.

Great write ups! I actually thought about backing Derby to be relegated expecting around 7/2 only to find them odds on! Guess that is factoring possible points deduction (not been following that). Not interested at that price but agree they look in big trouble.
I can definitely see why you've gone for the relegated teams to dominate but I fancy Bournemouth to win it. They will benefit from the change of manager and I just see goals all over the pitch, so maybe they don't need the 25 goal striker.
Mitrovic has to be a worthy fav to be top scorer at 8/1.
Not expecting much from Forest after last season, but we just need to keep Hughton and let him shape the squad as we've just had too much chopping and changing. Top half and a chance of playoffs would be just fine.

Age and LTO, Maybe ? I like Dragon Symbol who’s a very classy horse, but just feel Battash should still just about outclass him. Will be close though.
Went off like scalded cats last time, most of them came from the back.

But i digress, today we have the worst 6/4 shot i have seen in a good while in Battash, yes it can win but 6/4? i personally wouldn't touch it at 6/1.
Why are you against Battaash? Well clear on official ratings, 4/4 at the track.

Aldi premiums only 29p, not bad.

Hell of a drift on Stradivarius, 5/6 out to 9/4. Trueshan 11/2 into 15/8. Seems a bit of an overreaction to me.

That sounds rough, hope things work out. Always interesting to read these.

4.10 Cart Tonto's Spirit £10.20win at 3.20 = £20.03 profit if it wins. Had an insurance bet on Ballyvic Boru with Brian Hughes aboard. I almost can't believe how its price has drifted. £2 win at 9.4 = £6.86 profit if it wins. I don't like Lermoos Legend a class 5 winner up in grade and up 9lbs. Sword Of Fate looks like a risky proposition.
Very interesting little race! Sword of Fate has been in my tracker for a while and likes it round here, 2m4f on soft last time wouldn't have been ideal, still well handicapped on old form and should go close.
The best bit of form for me though was Check My Pulse on chase debut here behind a Nicky Henderson hot pot, I think that will turn out to have been an impossible task off level weights...looks very well handicapped on that run and gets 13lb from the fav, wasn't as good at Southwell last time but if I had to bet on one it would probably be him.
A very different track for Lermoos Legend and up 20lb for the last few runs but you couldn't rule him out.
Fav obviously loves it round here and is sure to be in the mix.
Not had a bet but looking forward to watching it.

@Darran thanks for the write up. You’ve mentioned that the horse was rated 68 and was then ‘dropped’ to 83?
Change the 2nd 68 to 95 and it makes sense! The horse's handicap mark went up from 68 to 95 after finishing runner up in a Chepstow hunter chase.

The owner of Popmaster emailed Ken Bruce to let him know it's running today (3:00 Newmarket), sounds like a tip to me! He's also in my tracker, so had a small bet @ 6/1 in an obviously competitive 18 runner race.
Beaten a neck in 3rd, feels like getting 2/3 on 3 in 10.

mazing that Norwich, despite winning the Championship with relative ease last season are rated at almost twice as long as play-off winners Brentford.
I noticed that, bit weird. Wonder if there will be a match bet between the two, as I'd fancy Norwich to finish higher.

That's the best I've seen Derby play for a long while! Should have scored 3 or 4, playing through Hull so easily. Last 5 mins Hull finally came into the game...hopefully the 2nd half is better.
